"The Monster" (EAS Scenario)

- This scenario is for entertainment purposes only.
The style and content of this video was inspired by creators such as studio q, clay ranger 143 and SPCHermitage 1258 and I'd like to thank them for their contributions to this community. And I am sorry if this video upset someone.
It's all fun and games until you start hearing towns and communities that you know, guess I don't need sleep tonight.
Yea, its like that for me, Especially where Pittsburgh is located in the country, cause we always get Stop that comes from the midwest
@@PittsburghEAS2009 , I would love to literally do an EAS scenario where it lasts like at least an entire month, as in real time. I have seen like feeds of massive tornadic outbreaks and then they last for like 8 to 12 hours, but then there would be like multiple days of that happening, along with other disasters.
@@PittsburghEAS2009 Do an EF7 Tuscaloosa Birmingham Alabama Mega Tornado EAS Scenario
@@PittsburghEAS2009 That's where US-Americans have the advantage... I never heard my literal COUNTRY mentioned unless it was in a meme-ish EAS scenario. I mean, we had Ophelia in 2017 (and our weather service reminded people not to insult the storm on Twitter as it drains the phone battery)...
Thank you for including Hagerstown
I've learned something from watching these EAS videos in addition to the entertainment value- I never knew that it can actually be dangerous/illegal IRL to have certain emergency broadcast sounds go off because sometimes they can activate nearby devices to go off too. That's good to know.
To my knowledge it only activates if you TRANSMIT the tones. You can play them near radio receivers and nothing will happen, but the moment it’s on air it’s over
Depending on the manufacturer, an ENDEC won't be able to transmit over the air, simply because they aren't equipped to. I have a TFT Inc EAS 911 and I have to connect an XLR connector to the audio output and wire it to my ham radio to even be able to transmit anything. 2 problems with that. The first being the ever obvious that it's wicked illegal to do, the second that being that making a working connector by hand just to have a level of compatibility for a specific radio mfg could be more of a pain than it's worth. Even though a person could sit and play around on an ENDEC all day/night and "send out" EAS alerts, unless it's connected to some sort of transmission equipment, no alerts will ever be sent.
For funsies, I have my ENDEC connected to a scanner for NOAA alerts on channel input 2 and channel input 1 is connected to a USB soundcard. Playing videos like this on it puts the printer on a bit of a frenzy.
That's why I try to watch these when ever I am using my headset so that I don't accidentally set something off. Don't wanna risk it.
@@kathrynjames6151 Hi
It's also illegal to use the tones because the government doesn't want people to become desensitized to them. It would be bad if you heard it and ignored it because you thought someone was just watching a show
I guess Mother Nature wanted to spare the Pirates from another embarrassing loss.
Fauna could be a Cubs fan. I dunno
Absolutely love this, I understand how much effort is put into making this. Like I made an EAS Scenario using 1983 Commodore 64.
Tornado Warning get to low ground now.
10 Minutes later: Flash Flood warning get to high ground now
Dude in Bethel Park is having a rough day
I live in bethel park, I can tell you there is basically no in between lol
Bro we gotta just levitate
imagine being at a baseball game and suddenly hearing what sounds like dozens of air raid sirens going off all at once it would immediately send the whole stadium into a panic and fleeing for the exits crushing countless people on the stairs
In case you were wondering, *yes* there is a Beaver County in PA, and *yes* all the women walk around without pants.
If you're going to show it, mow it!

An XDS (Extremely Dangerous Situation) watch... FINALLY.
I've always said the NWS needs to add Extremely Dangerous Situation to it's list of watch categories!
What difference would it make tho?
@@danieldoesdumbstuff yeah you can’t predict how bad a storm is going to be
...except that this sort of thing honestly is beyond the domains of NWS and NOAA.
They will eventually
"It is not certain that underground shelters are safe." This is beyond terrifying.
“Mass casualty situation” are the words that are the most bone-chilling for me. They are the furthest one can go without being bombastic or melodramatic. They’re simply the frankest words that can be used for this unprecedented crisis. No way to sugarcoat it: very many people are going to die. Ever since EmceeCh4p used them in “EF6,” they have set the standard for how dire these extreme tornado situations ought to be made, haven’t they? You don’t expect to hear those kinds of words in a weather advisory. You’d expect to hear them in relation to a mass shooting, plane crash, etc.
The fact that you have to go into a shelter that professionals don't confirm as safe is more than terrifying, hell just let me die if it's not safe lmao
@@seanbrower6738but also, “it is not certain that underground shelters are safe” means you are basically FORCED TO GO TO A SHELTER that is NOT EVEN SAFE MAYBE
@@ihaveyourhomeaddressyouloser Not to mention that the only chance of survival would now be to evacuate, even though you’ve always been taught to never run from a tornado, because you don’t know which way it’s going to go.
This video has dialouge taken from EF6 by @Ch4p. The part where they talked to the guy who was stuck in his car because of falling debris around his car, asking all non-esstential personnel to go to the basement, the picture of the tornado right before the camera got knocked off, the photo where one storm was caught in another...and I stopped watching after that.
yeah, i noticed that. It is pretty much identical except the cities and a few words changed.
he gave credit to him in the description
Spotted it too
@@grassman2007 Where? I dont see it.
Sweet, saves me a watch
It’s been about a month since I watched this, and it still gives me chills. Good job for scaring the shit outta me! /g (genuine)
i thought it would be about a real monster like godzilla lol
Same
Yeah same lol
Godzilla lurks within the tornado

"placed a hatched area"
*intense flashbacks*
To what
@@somehowimstillhere I was in a hatched area once. Just...once...
Damn good job! I live in one of the areas mentioned and really felt this!
I can't tell about how similar it is to the ef6 scenario. I can probably guess that it was inspired by that creator.
as someone who lives in the city area of Pittsburgh, this actually shook me a little bit. amazing scenario!
you do realize this is plagiarized a bit, right?
It gets chaotic when there are many spelling errors.
not to mention it also rips off ef6
this is one of the best EAS scenarios i've ever seen! one note: the text could stay on screen for like maybe one or two seconds longer to give some time to read
You know as a Pittsburghian I should have figured with a name like "Pittsburgh EAS 2009" I'd be screwed in this scenario...
This video will blow up if you simply used a picture of a ef6 tornado from Google images and slapped into your thumbnail. It was confusing when I clicked on your video but glad I did.
If this actually happened I’d have a field day. I love severe weather. In this scenario I’m in the extreme risk!
Reminds a bit of the video titled "EF6 (EAS scenario)".
the entire pittsburgh tornado emergency radio portion was literally ripped off from Formerly known as StudioQs EF6. i mean i see he was inspired by it but like... theres a fine line between inspiration and plagerism
The first extreme tornado emergency in this uses dialogue from “Cataclysmic Annihilation” by SPCHermitage1258
I know this is years old, but i noticed one thing; Cranberry Township is in Butler County.
I always feel bad for mobile homes and trailer parks because they ALWAYS fall victim to a tornado, it seems.
Hey just a question here. Why does this happen in northern dixie alley in stars of tornado alley or southern dixie alley? For example it could have been the 2011 super outbreak part two, but much worse. It could happen in the area in this video I just want to know why.
The tornado outbreak started in Pennsylvania?
Ayyyyyy Steubenville finally made one of these! ❤
Rumor has it that WDVE played Styx throughout the weather event. So, you know, business as usual lol
For being made in kinemastrr it sure does look and sound good
Edit: I meant kinemaster I cannot spell today 😅😅
Dude took the meteorologist bid from EF6 😂. Still an alright video
Hol up, why is Oklahoma giving watches and warnings for PA? It took me a year to catch that
"Most, if not all, buildings will be swept off of the face of the earth"
good lord that wording is scary-
Guys The EF5/6 monster of 2013 just destroys Telaville
This EAS scenario reference to the game of tornado alley ultimate
Is it a bad thing that I somehow end up falling asleep while listening to these things, even knowing that they're made up scenarios?
@Harrison Ashley you sir are a mad man
Thank God it's not just me lmao
the news scene is from the Ef6 eas scenario Refences but different was it right?
“Hmmm, this looks like a good scenario…”
(Sees Hot 99.5, a station I listen to all the time)
*uh oh*
Came for an EAS scenario and get a bit of an O's game on top. Go O's!
That monster is known as El Reno because of the size and wideness of that tornado!!! I find it on Google!
Down in houston, we get a little of eas, Usually Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Server Weather Statment, tornado warning and finally... hurricane warning
While this is of course an extreme example, and very well done, on the Gulf Coast this is a mostly average Tuesday.
On the other hand, we can't handle snow. AT ALL. Half an inch of snow on the ground will SHUT. US. DOWN.
Not even kidding.
And now I so want to see someone do an EAS scenario about the half inch snowpocalypse occuring in Mobile or Pensacola.
I’m sorry, but, ITS NOT CERTAIN THAT UNDERGROUND SHELTERS ARE SAFE?????
It’s “People and animals outdoors will be injured” oh and if it’s 85 mph wind gusts and tennis ball size hail it’s a destructive storm
Which EAS has the biggest tornado?
In this video?
@@PittsburghEAS2009 yeah
@MansenMonster 1:14:20
@@PittsburghEAS2009 how big is it exactly, and by that i mean it's size and wind speed, and do they say it's an F6/EF6 ???????
Oh umm
Not bad, I can see that a lot was borrowed from the EF6 EAS scenario. I think that a lot of the wording in the bulletins are very excessive and wouldn't occur in real life, even given the hypothetical situation.
29:35 it’s all fun and games until NOAA goes offline
It's unique when you use a town that I live near. Morgantown, West Virginia
Its all fun until the sirens dont stop when the video is paused
true
6:15 first alert (halfway through attention tones at stamp)
When i was like 7 and 8, i used to be fascinated by tornadoes. Now i am scared of tornado watches and going to macon on stormy days.
what if your city and macon are both have stormy days
@Pittsburgh EAS 2009 Is this based off of EF6? This shares many similarities and many lines are straight RIPPED OFF.
Yeah, and the Cathedral of Learning was blown up into the air, circled the Earth a couple of times and landed on the dark side of the moon.

I wonder if Pittsburgh even has tornado sirens I’m in Monaca so I’m around the area and the only sirens we have are if a meltdown happened at the power plant
For the high risk, Most of eastern Ohio should be in it though but this takes place in Pennsylvania
Yo, how do you get the tornado siren sound effect
Umm I just found them on UA-cam and just screen recorded them
i imatate the alerts with my reecom r1630 by doing alert test then going to Set Alert Blocking
"And I am sorry if this video upset someone." its ok i have sensitive loud noises anyway (and yes i was born with autism)
Voice actors would be perfect!
I like this scenario, including my state (Maryland). Time to sit back at eat popcorn
It's all fun and games until Ohio gets struck by a tornado
…..
Wow this gave me chills I live in Pittsburgh pa/Allegheny county very well done
I guess that trip on the Duquesne Incline will have to get canceled. Darn!
At 21:56 this creator starts ripping off lines from the EF6 scenario almost verbatim.
I live in NOVA, and the most unrealistic thing is that 99.5, a pop station, would play 80s heavy rock. The rock station here barely even plays this stuff.
Grew up in SoMD, I was gonna say the same thing. Had to tune to 98Rock in Baltimore for good rock.
10:46 Dodgers At Pirates What Was The Final Score
Do a blizzard. Great job on this.
Thank you, actually that's not a bad idea
@@PittsburghEAS2009 Thanks. Kind of like Snowzilla on steroids.
Yea, Right now I'm still working on the derecho Scenario
@@PittsburghEAS2009 , I would rather get the derecho as like the warm up to a massive multiple EF5, or even EF6 tornado outbreak, and put it in the Twin Cities.
Where's The Monster?
When there’s a flood you get to high ground. When there’s a tornado you go underground or the lowest floor of your building. WHAT DO I DO IF THERE’S BOTH!?
Just fly to the top of the tornado. Simple :]
Go underground even if it means your trapped due to flooding afterwards.
The Ultimate "Suck Zone". Let's all go over to Meg's after for some steak and eggs.
(County) and western Ohio repeats in severe thunderstorm warning lol😂 8:25
22:00 forwards kinda sounds like EF6 scenario
You mean straight ripped off
@@emilyhargrove4725 yep
It’s also very similar to another Eas scenario with the extreme risk being in purple and the percentages are the same the only thing that’s different are the locations
Y'all are bitching about something being inspired by another piece of content? EF6 wasn't even that good
@@danieldoesdumbstuff I was just pointing out it sounds a lot like if not the exact same script was used.
Something I think was over looked but is extremely scary is that the tornado is stated to be almost 2 miles wider than the largest tornado ever recorded and moved over 200 miles a little less than the longest one has ever traveled but that tornado was a mile wide and the wider the tornado the less distance it usually moves and in a location that tornadoes almost never form quite literally the perfect storm maybe even perfect storms all in the same place and feed off each other has to happen for this to ever have a chance to happen not to mention the 360mph winds 60mph faster than ever recorded and the icing on the cake I'm only halfway through the video at the time of commenting so it can get worse
In one part he say it was 4 mile wide and 405 mph winds. My gosh a mountain 🏔️ might be only safe place to be inside of and even it would suffer some damage.
41:24 YES THE RAYS WOOOOO
34:20
i almost heard a siren before the severe thunderstorm watch
did i overdose on EAS
"Severe water statement"
This is honestly kind of terrifying cause 21 minutes in I recognize/have been to/have lived in almost every Pennsylvania city mentioned or know people that are from there. I teach kids music lessons not even 15 minutes from Monroeville
i know its an old video and im super late to the party lmao. but is the dialogue at starting at 22:00 using the same script as EmceeCh4p's "EF6" Scenario? took me a second to realize and i was thrown off that i knew what the reporters were going to say before they said it 🤣still tho, awesome scenario! Terrifying
k i n e m a s t e r
Echoes of EF6 with this
Did you have to take quotes directly from EF6 instead of coming up with your own?
Do you have to say shit that no one cares about
Going through the whole video to see if the town I grew up in is impacted.
Yeah most of this, if not all, has been completely ripped off from the "EF6" Scenarion. Didn't do a good job hiding it either.
Lol it’s not ripped off are you retarded
Okay and?
@@danieldoesdumbstuff And he put the effort only into rewriting everything. Not the effort into actually making his own ideas.
this is very clearly
Inspired by cataclysmic ahnilation
Are there any tornado sirens in Pittsburgh?
You have earned a subscriber!
ya know what's funny? I can sense that SCP foundation BEING THE WEATHERMAN
The NWS should include Extreme Tornado Emergency in their book of severe weather warnings
Why are yall freaking out, *This is normal in Alabama*
Yes. I live in GA this happens every day in summer across the south east
my bf lives in the pitt area so this freaked me out a lot 😳
my house would survive this as its cement brick lol

in south western baltimore county you forgot arbutus
I wonder if a scenario where a tornado will hit Chernobyl
It wouldnt do that much bad because nobody can live in chernobyl; the radiation would still kill everyone who enters the area. But if it came OUT of chernobyl, that would be bad.
