This is exactly how it is in WA at our place on the lake. One thing ours has that kinda sux is it’s a national forest so it’s a 50 year lease on the property.

I don't think "mild winters" Is a thing there😅 I've been watching/looking up stuff as we're moving back to the states soon and I keep hearing how incredibly difficult the winters can be.
