What happens when two guys who checked their egos at the door ages ago have a conversation....... a fantastic listening experience. Appreciate this and this channel.
Really appreciate this. It means a lot to hear and I think combat has a way of forcing someone to leave their ego behind. Thanks for taking the time to share.
No, Murphy has sold himself out, he is ego. He and his buddy, also a sell out of his own peer group, Brandon Webb. They personify all that's wrong with trying to socially engineer the military. Scumbag. And yes, I'm an Army guy. See for yourself. Not an honorable guy. Just like his buddy Webb
@@austinluna4091 LOL, no they don't Austin. They harm it more than anything because they've both been busted lying not only about their own military records, which were impressive enough; but they both embellished. Strike 1. Strike 2, they make up more shit and shit on their own peers than they do before they even fart in the wind in the direction of doing something positive. They ONLY write stories that increases their popularity. Finally, I've spoken with them both, and along with a group of military peers, we've got in their faces about the bullshit that they spew. The fact that you do not know any of this says everything needed to know about what you know of these guys. They're garbage, and yes, I've said it to their faces. Just like a LOT of other Navy and Army guys have TO THEIR FACES. I appreciate that you want to defend them, but dude, you OBVIOUSLY do not know them, or their work. Ex. Jack Murphy, in his urge to align with the "woke" told NBC that the Ranger Regiment is racist, and that "systemic racism" is built into the Regiment. Do you think the Regiment is racist? Why don't you ask people in the Regiment. It's NOT racist, not even close. But Jack, lied to the main stream media and said that it is, and for what? Fame and media favor. It's a fact brother. If you're not in the community, then go read what the SOF communist thinks of these two.
Gosh, he has so much insight. Most people can’t go there. I spent years as a mental health troop in the AF. I really miss those interactions with people who are the real deal. God bless you, Jack and God bless you, Ryan.
Great, brutally honest interview. I also like how the interviewer asks questions regarding the psychological aspect of what's going through people's mind before, during and after combat. I am amazed with how Jack was able to continue and redeem himself after the FF incident. Incredible character.
Excellent interview with Jack Murphy, for me a change of perspective from being interviewed by him myself recently on his own podcast, "The Team House". Good to get his own story, and an interesting one it certainly is. The real deal for sure, the new generation of veterans, and he has (as the saying goes) "walked the walk". Great series, truly interesting group of diverse interviewees.
Just found this page. Love Murphy. He is a badass! My best friend went on first tour second tour and done some more time thank God he made it home. I thank God for all the soldiers and their family and their sacrifice.
5 minutes in and I am subscribing and liking. You sir, are doing exactly what you should be doing. Great interview skills and format. As far as Mr Murphy, I remember first time I saw him on the Team Room. I have been following him since most recently on the team house. Nothing short of a patriot. Thank you both for your service.
Jack I missed this episode somehow but I’ve followed you as a journalist but privileged to hear your history. A great interview again and I wish you peace and safe travels from a proud Canadian.
It sounded like he was willing to talk about more stories and stay on the show longer... you should bring him back on at some point. Felt sort of rushed towards the end.
Agreed. He could have elaborated on a few more things and seemed like he was willing to continue talking. I thought he had interesting point of view being prior special operations but now with a civilian type, journalist mindset.
@@LP3me Yea for sure. I like this channel but my only gripe with it is that I get the feeling he’s too worried about taking up too much of the guests time when in reality a lot of them are probably dying to tell their story and of course the audience loves to hear more.
Hopefully he sees these comments, we will happily listen to 4 hour episodes or multi part interviews, or just bringing guests back on after a year or two 😁🙏

Just subscribed to this channel and this is 1st video that i watched. Very impressed with his channel and how he interviewed. As someone commented on here. He actually lets the person he’s interviewing do a majority of the talking. Which is great, he has the perfect questions and does what interviewer is supposed to do. Guide the conversation and let the person being interviewed tell their story.
You did the right thing there Jack don't beat yourself up about it that s*** happens man. Just be glad that God was looking out for everybody that day Rangers lead the way
That was a very interesting interview, and skillfully done. That was a lot of stories to cover in a podcast. Thanks for doing it and putting these stories out there for us.
@@CombatStory that's the truth! That ambush story was unbelievably tantalizing! Pleaseeeeee bring him back lol. I watch his podcast and know myself and others would love to hear more about him.
