The Best Seafood in Sweden With Chef Thomas Sjögren

Chef Thomas Sjögren takes us through the flavors of Sweden's west coast in Bohuslän County.
Thomas Sjögren, awarded ‘Chef of the year 2015’ (Årest Kock). He owns and manages multiple restaurants located in the area - Skäret in Smögen, Stora Hotellet in Fjällbacka, Grano in Smögen, Fjällbacka and Gothenburg, and Hallsnäs hotel. We asked him to cook with some of his favorite produce, local ingredients such as mackerel, wild oysters, Norwegian scallops, seaweed, and vegetables from Klevsgård. The shellfish you eat here happens to be amongst the best in the world, thanks to the cold, clean, and mineral-rich water. The result is beautiful dishes paired with local beverages from Bohuslän County;
