Kendall was trying to feel some control and power. He’d just degraded himself to do everything his dad wanted so he wanted to act out a bit and feel like he still had control over himself that’s why he stole the batteries
When i lost my Silicon Valley six figure job in solar, it happened almost the exact same way. Laid off 40% of the company when Trump got elected in ‘16.
Kendall steals because he wants to get his wife back and she loves batteries. This will all be revealed in season 3 at Shiv's funeral when Kendall's daughter interrupts the ceremony and collapses.
Love Siobhan, always will. Buuuut, three and a half years is a crazy accelerated CEO track. Especially without the experience in this field. She has some of the traits, but not all and not enough knowledge in any of the companies branches
Shiv burning the bridge with Gill just shows how little Shiv values Tom's opinion. She already made her mind up when they started talking about it. She just wanted him to validate her choice in either supporting her, or rather giving her his "lesser" opinion, so she would double down on doing the opposite. Shiv does not respect Tom at all, its fucking sad when he's actually giving her good advice.
You dont joke about being disgusted of working class people if your whole campaign is revolving around helping working class people. Gils political career would be over the moment even ONE of these remarks left the inner circle, getting overheard by someone, etc. Hes totally right to rip into Shiv. Shes just on a high after Logan essentially declared her heir and thinks she doesnt need to take any criticisms. And its funny. It was such an impulsive move to burn the Gil bridge right after Tom told her to keep her options open. Shes really not that calculating mastermind she sees herself as.
Logan is the self made man stuck with entitled kids, old story that rings true. They dont have his work ethic, his competitive drive, and dont even grasp the industry they are in (his kids are soft people created by soft times).
The goal for many people. Or at least to have to option to raise entitled children. No one will feel sorry for them, but Doing this correctly is in a way more difficult than preparing kids for working class or middle class life
@ 100% - and what i noticed is most those kids get pawned off onto the help or private schools (like tuition more then Harvard). My buddy I met in Afghanistan (both army officers) was the most normal one of his kind who i have met. Great guy, a bit severe at times, uber competitive and ironically did not get along at all with his family. He sought out hardship on his own, call to adventure - he is a real one, an anomally though.
How did you guys not put it together that both William Strykers were in a scene together last episode. Logan played him in X2 (2003)and Laird (the Banker) was Stryker in X-men origins Wolverine (2009) and Brian Cox is named Logan so I thought you would have picked up on that.
He just stole the batteries just to do it... trying to feel something because his state of mind is screwed up.
I think the writers did a great job. All of the characters are dope af

Tom going 6 to midnight at the thought of firing folks is hilarious
Love seeing your takes on the show, guys ❤

What a gut punch. Doesn’t matter that others go through tough and tougher times. Things like that can rock your world
29:19 knowing what happened with Conor’s mom, this is cold blooded Bralik 😆
Kendall steals to get a thrill. He gets a rush from the adrenaline. Junkie behavior.

That is my favorite episode.

This episode was painful.
Y’all are crazy. Rome is one of the best characters on the show.
I like his wit. He’s pretty much powerless. But at least he knows it.
He's an absolute monster.
@@dylanblue2271 that too
Roman's utterly horrendous. Don't fall for his funny one liners. He's the Devil.
Kendall stealing isn’t a spoiler. He just needs attention. Needs to feel something basically. His mental is just screwed up as you saw.

Aye succession fans are too “how did you not pick up on this”, let them enjoy it for their first time they’ll catch it in editing
@ shut uppppp Paul
Bc who cares about the superhero shit
What? Why would this matter? Go touch some grass man
lol honestly, I don't remember Xmen Origins Wolverine... I know that's the one with Deadpool, but that's the only thing I remember
You shouldn't be trying to like any of them.
