What makes a good cultist in your games? Do you think my maddening Order of Black would work for you? Let me know your unique takes on a classic RPG enemy! 🔥
You definitely put the hurt on your players in an unconventional way in that game. It was an interesting challenge that had us all out our comfort zone. It was very creative, and it worked.
This is AWESOME. I'm designing some Witch-Knights for a dungeon crawp with some very tough PCs, and there's a faction of Dragon Cultists deeper in the tunnels. I wasn't sure how to handle it because just having another set of tanky fighters seems lame, having a whole huge cabal of cultists in this subterranean lair seems a little hard to believe... This is great. Keep the numbers low, and dont try to have two combat-heavy factions in the same dungeon.

You guys handled it well! Between hot dice and the teamwork, you all made it through
Definitely was a very different experience fighting these cultists! Also really had me questioning their motives
I love that
