  • We'll put the object all over the place in relation to the focus and find out where the image appears. I wonder if there's actually light where the image is...
    BTW, I've come to realize that there are people who like geometric optics and people who don't. I don't think they're worth your time, but more power to you if you like 'em.

    oh my god. I am literally taking college physics, and have encountered dozens of over complicated and disturbingly boring videos on this subject and this is so, so what's needed in physics pedagogy. 10 times better than khan academy or even private tutors.

    now i realise that our "perspective" will make us see a virtual image that will go the correct spot of retina..
    am i right? (sorry for my English, im from Portugal..)

    I have a question, and it's not really important, but technichal. In the textbook u place the incident ray through the orgin last not second, the second ray, is the ray through the spf, but is refracted

      +Lim Ivy A little, I guess. But the side it enters and the side it leaves are parallel to one another. The only consequence of refraction may be a slight shift of the ray up or down. You tell me - up or down?
