It’s pretty clear to me what has happened is from the outset Clearlake were happy for Boehly to take the lead but it didn’t go well so Clearlake as the largest shareholder decided to take over and Boehly is not happy.
Bingo
Great comments gentlemen. Thank you for your reasoned discussion. Greatly appreciated.
Built a team that can run the club, could also argue they sacked a team that were already doing a very good job of it.
15 minutes of waffle and whine to start us off.....
We dont care about Bohley
He dont care about us
All we care about is Chelsea FC
We dont care about Clearlake
They dont care about us
all we care about is Chelsea FC
For all those that remember the Benitez song....
Eggbali must go
The real reason that neither of them want to let go, is that a developed Stamford Bridge to 60k-70k in its present location, will generate more match day revenue than any other club in the Premier League, as well as any other club in world football. Location, location, location. Get rid of hard core fans and fill it by fleecing tourists. That`s the plan, and the reason that over 20 different groups were scrambling to get their hands on the club, when the Government insisted it be sold.
The match going fanbase will want Boehly the way the likes of Mount / Gallagher Trev and more have been treated runs up the wrong way
Great work guys
I have mixed feelings. it’s all a guessing game. When i hear i been told it means it’s half “possible guess” half “i don’t know” . Still as journalist i report it anyway because it’s good subject to create sensation and it sells well. No responsibility if i was wrong anyway.
Dam please let Dan Law speak all true Chelsea fans have heard the nonesense coming from both Clear Lake and Boehly
get them ALL OUT OF OUR CLUB. Egbal, Boehly and especially Clearlake..... WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THEM ALL.....
They saved the club by buying it when it was in a distressed state then invested in it heavily. Plus they made an obligation to stay with the club for at least a decade. Regardless whether any of us agree on the way they run the club, it's just plain stupid to demand what you're demanding. It's not easy to push new ideas into operation of this size, nor is it a process that leads to instant gratification. The Abramovich era was specific for its time and thrived in its time, though that way of operating is not sustainable nor acceptable in the current landscape.
Utter bullcrap
@@stpaul_38they did not save the club. Save it from what? Boris John and his evil colleagues gathered and decided to get rid of Roman for nothing! Government does not need to interfere in football!! If it happened in another country outside super powers the useless Fifa could have sanctioned that Government. It happened in Europe, therefore nothing is done. Pure racism 😳
@@stpaul_38 exactly. Ambramovich ran the club in a financially unsustainable way with quite frankly dirty money (I'm a Chelsea fan). He had his assets rightly frozen because of his ties to Putin. Anyone who is going to buy such a large expensive entity has to try and make it financially work. Chelsea haven't been competing for the title for awhile and Abramovich's model was dated and unsustainable (buying expensive plugins - Lukaku) In many ways the new owners have to build it all from the ground again to get all the pieces to fit because they are looking for long term solutions, not short term ones Ala Abramovich. It will ultimately help the club if there is just one owner who makes decisions. All these teething problems were bound to happen and it just naive people who thought everything would be perfect and the same from the start.
@@anderseriksrud5381 Well said. Plus, the club was already in decline during the last years of Roman, winning their last title in 16/17. The UCL win was not the norm or representative of the state the club was in.
Fans should protests now. These owners are bringing shame to our beloved Chelsea FC. 😊
The best overview of the situation i've seen. Don't really want to follow the story anymore. Looking forward to the games coming up and hope the players can cheer up the supporters on the field.
Matt seems to be on the clearlake side
The host is killing this interview. Why did you have Matt Law on when you won’t allow the dude to truly speak
Wow you guys are good
Whoever it is I need them to rebuild Stamford Bridge or move to a new place, to me that's the most important thing for future sustainability
I believe the best solution for this chaotic situation is for both of them to step aside. Ideally, a new entity would emerge, make a bid to purchase Chelsea FC, and present an offer that neither Boehly nor Eghbaly can refuse. This would be a better outcome for everyone involved. Perhaps Chelsea fans could accelerate the process by expressing their dissatisfaction and making it clear they do not want the current ownership to continue
It's true - another Bates vs Harding drama
The host has fucked up this interview. It should have been much better.
Roman comes back with a bid
I doubt Clearlake walking away from this high-profile, complex, touted as long-term, investment would inspire their investor's confidence. I think this is going to get ugly.
I agree with Matt Law but nothing revealed here has surprised me. Especially after Bagdehli was personally involved in the negotiations to acquire one of our most useless and hugely overvalued players, Enzo Fernandez. Another hugely awful Chelsea purchase.
And Mudryk.
How about a clash of footballing styles? Boehly for Poch anyone?
Todd sells, buys Tottenham. It becomes a competition for billionaires for who has the better more successful project.
IT'S NOT THE SUPPORTERS CLUB ANYMORE SADLEY.CHELSEA HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM US.
pitch owners.
The low wage bill is not a positive
If ClearLake take over Chelsea I am done been a supporter and a fan
😂😂😂 they're already running the show and your still here
They have been running the Club. Why are you still here?
fake news
If managed correctly how can Chelsea lose 200 million pounds per every financial year?
And where are Wyss and Walters in this war? I understand Walters is with Boehly because of Dodgers conection. Wyss was invited by Boehly, so he should be with him. In total, they have something like 39% of the club. Or 3 against 1. And still can't sort it out? Kindergarten club.
Please let guest speak you are sounding like propaganda piece for Clear Lake and/or Boehly
I actually think this team will shock a lot of people
Gk needs improving
LB + RB sorted
CB potentially be the best pairing in Wesley and levi
CM sorted
AMs and wingers sorted
Striker soon land
Once this team has a few years to gel I’m telling you just have patience and the good days will return
A few years to gel?? Do you know/understand that in few years time players we have today will be sold, new kids will be brought to the team, and "Trust the process" will be going strong. Can't people see where this club is going? No??
Enzo should be our current starting cm, which striker?
@@nicolemonkeviciene791I agree soon we will be like man utd fans waiting for more than a decade to win the league, we need to look at the present 80% of the time, and 5% for the future
@@nicolemonkeviciene791 I do get that point but I’m trying to think positively
