Harry has knowledge man, what he said 26:00 about us having different players for different situations is spot on, he gave the sancho low block and Neto transitional example and I think I’d argue the same with nkunku and Felix, Felix being quicker and more transitional for me. We saw this play out against wolves when that game became transitional
Jadon did fine in the last match. However, whether a particular player starts or is used as an impact player is purely based on the manager's tactical plans.
Jadon still has to prove his consistency, as for players being marked out of the game as they were at Bournemouth, that's because we had to compensate for having no RB and losing Enzo and KDH also no Lavia available meaning the side was unbalanced.
If Palmer gets marked out by 3-4 players, other attackers on the pitch need to step up and make it count as they will have more time and space to operate. We need to put fear into our opponents that if Palmer is marked out the game, Nkunku or Sancho or Noni or Felix will kill them off and vice versa.
Cucu should get a shout for captain as well. Makes big plays leads by example, well liked buy his teammates and is fitting into Maresca’s inverted fullback role nicely - probably the most pivotal position right now. Man city had to change their strategy putting Doku on the left because he was shutting him down.
1) I agree on what you guys said about Sancho maybe being a better option to Neto when it’s against very defensive teams. 2) I genuinely think that even with felix playing a false 9 we could win games and you’d see more goals from our wingers and Cole ending up the furthest player. 3) against West Ham I think we should start with Neto and Noni but if either one isn’t giving it then Sancho comes on either for Neto or for Noni but switches with Neto going RW
I think the point with Gallagher was that Caicedo Enzo and Lavia were higher on the pecking order. Gallagher would have had to fight for his place which he was prepared to do but the club preferred to sell him
I was skeptical when we were going for Sancho but I couldn’t be happier he genuinely looks happy here he has the fans full support and he looks quality he’s gonna do great things for us
Great video guys keep the energy and great analysis coming! Midfield depth is a concern especially with injuries, Santos would be great to have back in the squad with the amount of games we have 😅

We need to start Jackson Sancho Palmer Madueke Caicedo Lavia Cucu Colwil Tosin Fofana (if gusto out. Otherwise Fofana and gusto). We need to keep nkunku on the bench. He needs to be our main man for UECL. less likely to get injured in UECL. while he continues to build up to full match fitness to start a match in the prem. With Jackson starting, we are able to bring on an even better striker off the bench when we need it. Look at the Bournemouth game. Jackson needs to stay starting and Sancho must join him

Nkunku Sancho Palmer Noni Caciedo Lavia Cucu Colwill Tosin Fofana Sanchez Neto, Enzo, Felix, Veiga, Jackson used as subs. This is what I'd like to see vs West Ham.
When Maresca said we have a great squad it is simply because 90%of players in this squad can play 2 or more positions in the game and that allows tactical flexibility and its hard for opposition managers to defend against us.
39:10 How can hotheaded colwill or never available Reese James be in the conversation for captaincy???? Esp when it’s captains only who can approach the ref??? Palmer or Caiecedo should be the options
The team is destined for fights between the English and Portuguese players if neto and Felix is always overlooked for Sancho and maduke even when they play bad and were picked for continuity .
Chelsea’s defensive unit is still shaky. We are not composed - meaning that the defensive unit had to coordinate their plays , instead of constantly passing backwards and putting an unnecessary burden on the GK . With Palmer and Madueke in a constant‘groove’ knowing each other’s plays ; it’s just a matter of time for Sancho to join that groove. Nkunku , I believe has to learn to adapt; rather than just waiting for the ball to come to him . The West Ham game will test how well Chelsea have progressed under Enzo Maresca’s system .

There are some facts after the first 6 games. One is that Mudryk has no place in this team and cannot play. He should be excluded from Carabao and FA cup games as well. Maybe can play for the conference league games. Second Jackson is better come from the bench as long as Nkoukou is fit. Their Palmer needs assistance from manager.
