    Some very good information, but what about the role of fat? Fat is a good source of energy and will have an even lower effect on raising blood sugar. If you eat sufficient fat you don’t need to derive glucose from protein.

      It HAS to be animal fat NOT vegetable based fats/oils

    When you say 1.5 g per kilo bodyweight is that actual bodyweight or ideal/desired bodyweight?

    • @philthompson1097
      @philthompson1097 2 роки тому

      her reference is pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26960445/ which appears to use actual bodyweight

      Id say 1.5g per kilo of ideal weight or even lean body mass

    • @philthompson1097

      @@spongebobsquaretits me too, but it's common for the overweight to want to eat more, and body mass is easily measured.

      @@philthompson1097 I try and aim for ideal body weight so when i get to it i wont have to adjust what im eating too much.Age will make a differnce to it too, the older you get the more protein you need.

      So, what exactly constitutes a "bad" accent?

    • @OIOnaut

      noticed the accent too. it took a lot of concentration to be able to follow in detail. VERY nice person, excellent info, good mood, problematic in only by its audible output.
      i will explain:
      it was not even close to an aviation standard speech requirement, which is by design clear and stripped of extra nuances 😇
      my next point is kind of irrelevant in this context, but bear with me.
      in my native language this way of pronunciation is common with a split defect in the upper pallate of the mouths cavity. i do not believe this was the case. this is why i would not hire a person to be in charge of the corporate media output no matter how talented.
      this said, i would not say that comment was rude in any way but just plain ... said.

      There is an excellent book about this and understanding it is also life altering as is the message of this great presentation and the whole event. i learned a few new things as well.
