I know this is an older video but, there are so many things you covered in this that made more sense than I would have looked over. Please keep doing your thing. I, and I am sure more people than I can count appreciate it.
Hi Paige, I was riveted to a previous video where you shared how you were treated by other professional golfers. In that vulnerable moment I could sense that this really wounded you and it made me somewhat angry. Since you are are beautiful woman and blonde I'm sure that some of your competitors feel jealous about any extra attention you get. I hope that you regain your self-confidence return to competitive golf again soon. I find you to be a very kind, sincere person and you are in fact a very very good golf instructor. I learn so much from your instructional videos especially because you break things down in such detail that it is understandable and thought provoking for me. I look forward to many more of your videos and wish you all the best in your golf career. Keep up the great work and thank you for caring so much about the game of golf and for being so honest and since with your audience.
Great tips Paige. I actually started doing 9 hole rounds strictly for practice by myself. Not only has it helped with my game but it is great for just relaxing no pressure.
Sharpening my mental approach and forming a strategy to follow for a specific difficult hole is something I've struggled with. Making the commitment to take a moment to think it through once on the tee is great advice - and one I should be paying more attention to. Good job, Paige.
Terrific input of how to practise on the course.I can't play anymore as I had an accident at a golf course where as I walked to the hallway towards the pro shop ,I slipped over a tiny piece of cooked potato ,which I didn't see.Fell backwards again the wall and ripped my tendons apart.Had 6 years of pain .Which now is OK.But I can't play any more, because following though and shifting weight is no longer possible. But your video helps me by bringing back my favourite pass time : GOLF.Thank you Paige Spiranac.❤🇨🇦
I think she's just beautiful but then she hits the driver with perfect form that I wish I come close to replicating and I play once a week. Especially how far she brings it back. Guess I have to start stretching.
Thanks, Paige. I like your idea of playing some solo rounds so you can hit multiple shots, challenge yourself by moving back putts that were not missed long on the high side, and the way you add key stats to the scorecard. I've been using an app which allows a few basic stats, but I love the idea of when you miss the green, was it short or long and left or right. Thanks!
Wow! Great improvement techniques and Advice! Best Was how to Score holes and track progress to be able to Isolate actual performance issues.... I can't wait to show my Son how to Isolate his issues thru tracking his actual shots! Sooooo helpful! Best Video of yours I've seen so far! Huge Thx!!!
Your putting drill is a good addition to our money game. If you miss the putt, you now have to move the ball back 1 club length. I love this. My buddies might not though. lol
Your instructions are the best I have seen. I’ve been playing golf for decades and never had any real improvement in my game but you have a great way of explaining the how and why of various techniques. Thanks very much for making these videos. Can’t wait to try out your tips on the course.
I think I'm going to have to add golf to my list of hobbies when I retire, which will be soon. I think your channel will really help, because I know its a tough sport to master.
I started playing without my driver last week and my fairway metals puts me in much better positions than my driver shots most of the time. Good advice Paige.
Thanks for all that you do for golfers. You are very informative about the game which is great and you definitely know what your doing on the course. Thanks very much.
I haven’t played golf in three years and decided to go out with the wife yesterday. I shot 13 over on the front nine and she shot 11 over. At the turn we crushed a few beers and both shot even par on the back nine. Great tips Paige, i’ll definitely give them a try along with a couple beers LOL.
Greetings from Sydney Australia Paige.Just found your fantastic videos. You have earnt yourself a new subscriber.Keep up the great work my dear as they are absolutely fabulous just like you.Double 👍👍 for you.
I took the putting practice to the course the other day... By the end, everything was past the hole and on the high side! Great idea! It’s never fun pulling it back so you really get in that mentality to get it there.
My friend and I used to play a game called "Tee Bag." We had a little Crown Royal bag with tees colored red, white, blue, green and black. We would play match play. Depending on how many tee boxes the course had we would use a different number of tees. The rules were we each blindly choose a colored tee. Depending on what color we chose, that was the tee box we played from. If we tied the hole we each chose blindly again. However if you won the hole you got to pick first and you could either keep your tee of give it to the other guy. So occasionally you would get a situation where one of us was playing from the front tee box and the other was playing from the tips. It did force you to think and also to hit shots you might not normally.
I'm glad that you commented on having fear of using the Driver even at your level of skill. I've learned not to be to aggressive with it and use my 3 wood or hybrid to lower my scores. My main problem remains chips and pitches which I now practice all the time when playing. If no one is behind me on course I will drop 4 to 6 balls around the greens and practice. Putting is easy when you can be within 5 feet.
This was a brilliant video. The keeping stats methodology is super helpful. So glad I learned how to do this! This has really helped my game. Thanks Paige!
A great video....thank you. I used to do this sort of thing when I was much younger (in my 50's!) on the way home from work...playing from around 5 pm until dark, dropping a second ball to get it right! Now you've reminded me...practicing on the course could be better than spending hours on the driving range, without much purpose! Keep up the good work.....
I like this, since I don't have a handicap yet mostly I just practice on the course instead of actually play golf for score. This gives me a few more "games" to play to hopefully improve my game faster. I especially like the recording method you described at the.end for quickly and easily describing the hole with more than just a number. Thank you
One of the best how to on course practice videos I have seen in a long time. A lot of key points, especially the difference between how a pro thinks around the course vs an amateur and keeping the stats. Also keeping it fun by playing the drill games. The only difference what I do with my students when playing the two ball practice drill is I teach playing the best ball. Since I’m a feel player I would want my students to feel the good shots, the good fundamentals. Great job putting this important part of practice video together. Without practice you can’t perform.
this sounds like a great way to practice, i've just started playing golf, and i find i get carried away with just practicing the one shot, which is usually the driving of the tee shot because i get so many off shots that i think i need to practice that more. then there is figuring out what club to use
I started keeping data on the scorecard exactly like that when I was young. No one told me, it just seemed like a smart thing to do. That's really cool you do the same.
Another very good video. I love the practice round routine and using the score card as a record of what is needed to improve my game. I never saw that before. Thank you for the tips.
Great practice tips Paige! I really liked the club length tip for putting and how to keep your stats on your card. I wear a Shot Scope and can see where my shots landed etc, but when keeping it on the card, now I can review it the next time playing the same course and see where I had the most trouble! Thanks so much!
Practicing on the course is the best. I try to get out at one of my community courses late in the day when I see the course is empty. Play the 2 ball worse shot, have to try the putting drill. Like that as an easy way to keep stats.
Love the idea of pulling a club lengths back on tap in puts to get in extra practice and I appreciated how you showed us to keep track of your round with hitting your fairways, greens and puts! Thanks, Paige! Cheers.
great suggestions. i practice while playing alone and i will move short putts back a club length! playing worst drive is good tip. AND leaving driver in bag and using 3wood !!!
Love the channel. I have been introducing my wife to the game and your videos have been very helpful for her and for me. Not sure if you are still making videos in AZ or what course you are usually at but if we ever see you we will be sure to say hi. We actually live on Las Colinas which I know you played back in the Cactus League days. Thanks for the great content and keep it coming.
OkOk...walking off the hole smiling that special little smile saying..."It's as easy as that, guys"...getting a little snarkie out there Paige...(Love it)
Great video. I have learn so much from all your video's. My game has improved a lot. Question can you do a video if possible on. How to Select the Right Grip. There are so many different kinds. Do you just pick one because it feel good in you hands. Thank you.
Your looks were the first thing that attracted me, but I really like your personality. We have some things in common, because we have been through some of the same things.
great tips - really like the putting one for short game i sometimes will throw ball off the green every time i hit it in reg and then try up and down it
I am a pretty horrific golf player but I do enjoy the days out on the course with my mates who are equally as horrific. Could have done with some of your instructional vids as a young guy that’s for sure! Top looking spot you’re playing at here Paige!
I play cut and snips during my round. I use a golf app that gives me my yardages and stats, including keeping my handicap. So cut and snips is a modified stableford game and I made my app take off strokes if I hit fairway, GIR, and no 3 putts. At the end, if I shot a 41 on an executive course but have a -10 on my cut and snips score it shows I did well managing my way around the course and really shot a 31. It just makes you focus on every shot and while your final score may not reflect how well you played cut and snips will let you know that you actually did well.
Good information round. We use to use the club-length-back while practicing on the green hole by hole. Making practice time more fun was always a good start of a relaxing end. Keep up your great work!
In a practice round, I like to add some extra short game. If I hit GIR, throw a ball in the bunker and play out from there. If no bunker, pick a spot to chip from. Now, I may mix in some of your extra putting idea. Those 3 - 6 footers are so important. Good stuff
Thanks for all the information. I just started back a couple years ago and will be 60 years old at the end of the month. Still in fairly good shape, you and Mr. Short Game have helped me lower my score a few strokes and course manage much better, thank you. One quick question, what is a realistic goal to set at my age?. I'm currently a 20-22 handicap and believe I could get down to 15 or 16 in lesss than 1-year. I have recently increased my short game practicing but don't know if I have the time to practice more than 2-4 times a week, including play time, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Keep up he great work, personally and professionally.
Practicing by yourself on course can be boring and unfocussed - so I really like your ideas on making a game of on-course practice - Thanks for the tip!
Really enjoy your videos because I learn things to try from watching your swing. The one thing i notice all the time is the tremendous balance and leg drive you have on the downswing mostly because that is a weak spot in my swing. Do you have or plan to do a video on how you use your legs to generate power in your swing?
I know this is an older video but, there are so many things you covered in this that made more sense than I would have looked over.
Please keep doing your thing. I, and I am sure more people than I can count appreciate it.

Listening to a pro talk their way through a course is a main difference to a weekend golfer, good stuff.
The mic works so well with good voice, and the weather is great! Your tips are very practical and useful and explained clearly, thanks a lot Paige!
Thanks Paige for making golf fun and inviting for more people!
Great tips Paige. I actually started doing 9 hole rounds strictly for practice by myself. Not only has it helped with my game but it is great for just relaxing no pressure.

Somehow the youtube algorithm gathered us all here again. Welcome man of culture. I salute you.
I didn't care about golf until now.
Lol
@Girlswin Ever simp
“Get in the hole” shouted the watching crowd
I think she's just beautiful but then she hits the driver with perfect form that I wish I come close to replicating and I play once a week. Especially how far she brings it back. Guess I have to start stretching.
Played two solo rounds last week with the course to myself and it was awesome being able to hit certain shots 2-3 times. Great tips, Paige!
Thanks again Paige. This video puts structure to my practicing on the course, which I do a lot.
Thanks, Paige. This video was full of great tips plus a course vlog which is my favorite. Thank you for a great video it was one of the best ones you have done.

High side, past the hole. Love it, ill do that in all my practice rounds from now on!
Thanks Paige for all your tips and drills to build skills!
I wish I could control my swing/ tempo the way you do, you make it look so simple and graceful.
Lots of practice😅
I started keeping data on the scorecard exactly like that when I was young. No one told me, it just seemed like a smart thing to do. That's really cool you do the same.

Thanks for the tips. Really helpful.
Just love your strategies! I'm a newbie and I didn't understand the up and down on the stat.
Great practice tips Paige! I really liked the club length tip for putting and how to keep your stats on your card. I wear a Shot Scope and can see where my shots landed etc, but when keeping it on the card, now I can review it the next time playing the same course and see where I had the most trouble! Great video 👌exactly what I was looking for, many thanks x
These are all great tips! Thanks Paige!
I do not know why youtube recommended this to me. I clicked in and subscribed after watching for 1 min.
Practicing on the course is the best. I try to get out at one of my community courses late in the day when I see the course is empty. Play the 2 ball worse shot, have to try the putting drill. Like that as an easy way to keep stats.
Such an inspiration for the game
Wow ,I've been doing the scorecard stats correctly for years. Love the videos, you are an encouraging teacher, thank you Paige
Thanks for the tips! You make it look so easy and elegant! I love your videos!
Love the idea of pulling a club lengths back on tap in puts to get in extra practice and I appreciated how you showed us to keep track of your round with hitting your fairways, greens and puts! Thanks, Paige! Cheers.
Wow that putting drill sound perfect. I'll do that tomorrow on the course. 👍👍👍
Best video yet. Really informative. What games do I play? Generally hunt the golf ball in the bushes after a sliced drive
Fantastic advice, especially with the putting and pulling the ball back if short or low.
great suggestions. i practice while playing alone and i will move short putts back a club length! playing worst drive is good tip. AND leaving driver in bag and using 3wood !!!
Great video, Paige. Lots of good information about how to play the game. BTW...your new mic is really crisp. A nice upgrade. Keep the videos coming.
Love the channel. I have been introducing my wife to the game and your videos have been very helpful for her and for me. Paige, one of your best videos, I will use the tips you gave, also like the way you keep stats on score card. Keep up good work.
I love your sensible, uncomplicated explanations. You have a very smooth yet powerful swing. Why did you leave the LPGA? You are GREAT for the game!
Great advice on placing the ball back one club length to work on your putting game and to reduce short puts.
Really good video. Great ideas. Thanks.
Great golf tips as usual.
OkOk...walking off the hole smiling that special little smile saying..."It's as easy as that, guys"...getting a little snarkie out there Paige...(Love it)

Really enjoyed watching the video, very informative. Will definitely be using these tips the next time out playing. Thank you

Fantastic tip about coming back a putter length. Not seen that before. Thank you
That's exactly how i learn...thank you for the great tips...just did it today when I played...love your videos!
Just been out back practicing my grip now I'm back for some more.
I hope that's not a euphemism!
Really like that score keeping method...I will implement on my next round of golf. Have a blessed one...
Great lesson Paige! Thanks for being you!!
🎤 works beautiful.
Much clearer sound. Another thorough video. Great job Paige!!
First time viewer Paige. Really interesting ideas...particularly like the putting drill. Thank you.
I love the putting idea of taking the ball back a club length I will defo try that.
Another great tips video from Paige.
That first putt on the course was absolutely beautiful😍 thanks for the great tips can't wait to try them out on the course😁
Good information round. We use to use the club-length-back while practicing on the green hole by hole. Making
practice time more fun was always a good start of a relaxing end. Keep up your great work!
👏can you go over what you refer to as high side low side? 👍
Good tips on the green. Never thought of that...my short puts are brutal probably because I don't get enough of them.
In a practice round, I like to add some extra short game. If I hit GIR, throw a ball in the bunker and play out from there. If no bunker, pick a spot to chip from. Now, I may mix in some of your extra putting idea. Those 3 - 6 footers are so important. Good stuff

I always pick up something from watching your videos. Great tip on keeping track of how you played the game keeping notes on the card . Thanks
Love watching your videos.
good tips . enjoyed it keep up the good work
I like the way you talk about your experience as a pro and course management
How much pressure in the correct grip? I tend to strangle clubs stemming from playing baseball as a kid.
Practicing by yourself on course can be boring and unfocussed - so I really like your ideas on making a game of on-course practice - Thanks for the tip!
Great video and tips for practical advice. Thank you.
U are not afraid of showing how the field bends ! Really good.
These are great! I’ll make sure to use them next time I’m practicing.
I’m always better when i’m practicing than when I am playing. It’s a mental thing for me. But overall great tips.
