I started watching these for non golf reasons.. but the more I’ve watched the more I’ve actually learned and have become better at golf. Keep it up Paige!
Fantastic coaching Paige. I'm a senior getting back into golf coming down from 120 to 98 just now but enjoying being on the course. This is my next step regarding difficult lies it was very helpful to learn this Thank you
Used the buried lie, "ketchup packet" shot yesterday. I told the people I was playing with that, "this isn't going to look pretty". Once executed with a pin high result they thought the shot was "beautiful". Thanks a ton, Paige, and keep up the good work!
I've ALWAYS struggled hitting out of the rough. And I've never heard the "ketchup packet" analogy before, but it makes perfect sense. I'm exited to get out on the course and try it. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Great video Paige. Because you’re lessons are catered to new golfers, it’s would be good to mention how the rules apply in some of these situations. For example it would have been OK to take practice swings to test the ground in the thick rough or tight lie, but not in the bunker.
Again, awesome tips Paige. Not all amateurs practice the tough shots and that’s their downfall. I tend to practice tough shots more often (I could spend hours in a practice bunker ...LOL). You’re awesome!!! Thank you
The second one you showed, where it sits up on fluffy grass. I struggle with that shot a lot, I tend to sweep and it goes like 2 ft, thanks for the tips!
Paige I like most folks who reply enjoy your beauty and personality. But please know that I value greatly the expertise and insight you bring to the game. I am not and never will be a great player. But your tips have proved very helpful to me and improved my appreciation and enjoyment of the game. Thank you for doing what you do!
Great demo. Most of us amateurs run into unexpected lies and we do not know what to do. That's when our score takes a hit. Good stuff here. I think Just Thomas takes it home, but above par for the week.
Hi Paige. Good video. The lie condition is more important versus how often it is covered. So good for you to cover this well. From the green side bunker, I find using a 60 SW with a higher swing speed easier than a slower swing with a 56 SW. {I do not know how to manage side hill lies. Any comments?}
Great tips! Thank you! Quick suggestion: is it possible to get another camera to show the angle from behind the ball so that when the shots are demonstrated, we have an idea of how it is supposed to look from that angle and also see how the ball behaves after taking the shot (e.g. goes high/low, runs/sits, etc.)? Thanks!!
Great tips Paige. Thank you for this. Up and downhill lies are tough. Getting weight on proper side and adjusting shoulders to match the slope is important. Another quality video! Looking good as always! Stay safe. Tell niko hello for me.😎
I think the biggest problem for us weekend hackers is trying to hit shots we don't have in our bag , I am just as guilty as the next guy but I have been learning to be less aggressive with my game and just take my medicine when the situation calls for it and it is reflecting that approach on my scorecard ! Great tips Paige , certainly some shots I can use on the course ..
Thanks. Very relevant. I had big problems with greenside chipping this week. Particularly frustrating since I must have practiced 100-200 tight lie chips last week. But on the course the grass near the green was very long, fluffy, and wet. I figured no problem - just easy flop shots. Unfortunately time and time again the club face kept sliding under the ball and the chip went nowhere. 😣
@@PaigeSpiranac In those fluffy lies, maybe he should use a less lofted club if he's been using a wedge, especially if there's no trap between ball and green. I think us mortals should adopt one chipping swing and select the club to get the distance. Follow the KISS principle.
Of all the shots you have demonstrated, which ones would I take a full swing at? Say if I'm 150 yards out. Or are they all just chip shots to get back in the middle of the fairway?
I've struggled with the downhill and uphill lies. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but do you aim left on a long downhill lie and opposite for an uphill shot?
Good course management and useful skills in handling those tough situation....how nice if we could think rationally during those challenging situation and manage our expectation like what you taught us, Thank You so much..
Paige... on the buried lie. Question.... it seemed that you used a strong right hand to make the chopping motion, to come down on the ball. Is that correct? All this information is great. Perfect content. Me being a high handicapper, I am always looking for answers for those difficult lies.
Great tutorials as always, Paige! I always learn from these! Also I never knew there was a name for what happens to my ball in the bunker all the time! there’s a name for everything the fried egg love it 🤣
Appreciate your good work in these times, thanks a lots & keep it up!! The shots after 6:10 for example i found to be the most difficult ones, impressive to see you don't do ten test swings first, like Pro's even (my favourite one: Dr. DC), but simply hit them right - right away. I liked the advices after 11:30 and how advice #1 repeated in the bunker. Sorry but you are a real beauty and it is quite unfair not to see your beautiful eyes the whole time => In that sense, the best part started 16:30, Thanks again!
Thanks for the tips will come in handy for me I’m always having to hit shots from bad lies could have done with showing me how to hit out of the trees that’s where I spend most of my time on the course ha ha sending love from England
Can you let us know the best time to use the "unplayable lie" option? Sometimes the best shot you can take from a tough lie is to declare the ball "unplayable".
Not Paige but here's how I see it... I would guess it's up to how well you think you can get out of that spot with a shot versus taking one penalty and taking from there. If you think that there's a big chance for you to end up hitting two or three shots before getting to a better lie, it would be better to declare it unplayable and take just that one shot penalty. Of course it also depends is there a better spot to drop it in or not (I've hit from a cart path (gravel though, not pavement) because the nearest relief was a four inch high thick rough on an uphill lie). No do I play like this... that's another story 🤣
Great instructional video Paige. Great tips for all levels of golfers. Excited to work on my fairway woods, bomb my 3 wood off the tee and top it off the fairway! Think you could be a great coach/teacher of golf, we need more women doing that!
On the fried egg shot, the first one, you were in front of the ball, on the next with the open face, you were on top of the ball. Is that an instruction you simply overlooked, or was that not intentional. I live in the dirt so this important to me. Thanks
I started watching these for non golf reasons.. but the more I’ve watched the more I’ve actually learned and have become better at golf. Keep it up Paige!
Hi and Thanks Paige! Believe it or not I have just found your videos. The completeness and simpleness of explanations is really great!🙂

These are super helpful tips around the green. You’re awesome, Paige!
The world would be a better place with 1,000 more of you.
Paige you are my only golf instructor you are full of information thanks so much.
I'm very busy 'managing' my outcome. Excellant and descriptive language for a golf or life lesson. Cheers.🏌️♀️
As someone who went just for the beers. I'm now looking into playing more serious. Very helpful tips, thank you
Always good advice. Nearly every time clean and crisp. Thanks, be strong.
Great tip from the tough lies. That is a shot most of us weekend golfers struggle with, thanks Paige!!
Very helpful tips Paige. Easy to understand. Thanks.
Thanks for the tips on some shots in tough lies. Have a great day. Cheers!

Thanks Paige wife caught me watching this as I was chipping on the carpet divorce pending 😂

Paige, thanks for the great pro tips. You are helping many golfers improve.
Hello Paige, , I’ve watched about 10 videos, I’m vary impressed. You have a good teaching approach.
You have helped me tremendously in my golf game. Keep up the great work.
Great content Paige! Using the bounce portion of the club by opening the face is sooo important!

I've got no idea what she is saying.
THERES AUDIO?
Same...missing the instructions because of the cleavage.
I was looking at that mound between her legs
I think this video is more about hypnosis than golf.
All I heard was hit it really hard and explosions?
Thank you for sharing on how to position your body on uneven downsloping shots.
Well explained Paige. Havent come across many golf videos that cover such a range of bad-situations so effectively. You did it wonderfully well👍

High 5 for these tips Paigester! Pros know how to hit all of these at will. But usually only talk about the basics on TV.
Great outfit Paige 😊
We’re does she get those tops?! Nike exclusives!?
I watched a video on a flop shot. Great advice!!!! I used it today and it worked perfect!

i like your point to lower the expectation of a bad lie and just take my medicine and get out.
Definitely do not want to TOE that one. Well played.
Paige, you're awesome. Keep it up 🙏
Hello Paige
I have been watching your instruction of golf: difficult Lies and using hyriids clubs. Thank yoy
