My fav spot is the existing structure to the east of Mount Blair. With a few blueprint tricks you can place walls with doors to actually seal up the structure
I have a camp in the cranberry bog just north of Watoga, if you follow the road underneath it is a tunnel, and you’ll eventually hit a bed and an exit with 2 buildings and a truck right before the workshop. It’s a little tricky to get your camp placed to claim the structures but there’s even a junk pile, I enjoy the spot a lot.
My camp spot is your first pick! The monster table is updated: Supermutants, Ghouls, Scorched, Molerats and Mothman can appear here! Also, right off the cliff to the east is a POI (carhenge) and also a random encounter spawn. :)
@@randomizer6553 Sure! The farther south you go toward the edge the better. Make sure to fast travel to your camp after you place your module to make sure visitors won't appear inside the rocks or down below the cliff.

There are a lot of great locations that nobody visits. My favorite place to build is in the Mire. I really like the edge of the cliff above the ransacked bunker. That location gets the cool fog effect without being in the swamp.
i've been building on top of the big power pylons. have a friend build a camp on top of a nearby mountain, build a max height tower with a spikey catapault trap on top, slam a bunch of AP buffs, and fly over on the jetpack. i have one by whitespring train station. build an open container and put the camp module on top of it to kind of force a fast travel spot. ❤
While it's not the best location in the game, there's a spot just to the northwest of Horizon's Rest (how poetic) where you can find the tail of the crashed airplane. I did a temporary build just a bit down the slope from that tail, and no joke over my week at that location I got visited by the 'sweepstakes' Mr Prize-Bot at least nine times. I never encountered anything hostile or any other NPCs, but that prize-bot was often a houseguest, and I have no explanation why.

Hey man, thanks for taking a bunch of smaller videos and making them into one. I've been searching for a good spot for a camp. I recently came back to the game to find out that the old Carhenge area is now a cultist camp, so pissed. Had a sick raider style camp there back in the damn. Thanks to your vids I've found some new decent spots.
I built a pretty good camp at the forest junkyard location. It's my main base of operations and I love it. I've had scorched and ghouls spawn but nothing crazy.
I’ve got a spot close to the lighthouse and the junkyard workshop that sits on two deposits. It’s a very small space but if you build up and not out it can be a lot of fun. Used to be I’d see a robot or two run up passed a crashed plane on the hill but nothing has been there for a long while or at least nothing with mentioning since the turrets went up. For size, it can fit the fire watch tower just fine but it’s a squeeze if you do that for anything else so I recommend the firehouse instead.
About the first location, you can’t get the whole area into your camp radius and you have enemies spawning all the time on the top and on the bottom of the area. It can be a right nightmare. I had mutants, dogs, mole rats and other assorted nasties showing up every time I fast traveled to this camp. Otherwise very nice location.
also, if you do camp in the arse end of no where, and your camp is cool enough to warrant some mild trickery, save up a bunch of light 3 star weapons for "vendor bait" (i like reduced weight knives and knuckles) and put them in your vendor. 27 3 star weapons? u know people are gonna have to check it out. ❤
@37.05 The Abandoned Shed in the Mire. This is where I’ve got my CAMP. Built next to the shed on the oppo side of the tree, plenty of room for growing foods, stream can take purifiers and the shed with a turret aimed directly at its door is a great source of tick farming and ingredients for blood packs. Plus my wooden lodge next to it has half a dozen turrets sat atop to deal with the odd mutant/frog raid. Not the great views mind but will do until I can find a better location with water and a view (that isn’t already taken by every bugger lol).

I don’t know if you’re still doing cool camp locations you can build at. But I got a few for you that I haven’t seen you post about. North of the wv lumber mill there’s a small outpost lookout on a tree with a lil under side usually has a bunch of fireflies around it. Between the 90 & 92 road markers in the white square smack dab in the middle of them but a little towards the 90 more( 90 left of anchor Farms and 92 right of twin Pine cabins just north of vault 76) there’s a hole in the ground with a small structure inside it with a porter potty outside of it. Although I know you extremely hate it in the mire but left of drop site G3 and a little south there’s a house that it’s exploded, but has a pond directly in the middle of it . I found quite a few other places, but I don’t wanna leave you like two page message lol.😂
Thanks man this is awesome. I’ve decided to check back in after about 10 months. My old camp was still dressed up for Christmas so it’s been a while. And I have a hankering to build a new camp.
