I’ve just found your channel recently. Thank you it’s been really helpful listening to all your advice. I’m also autistic and have been trying to get my business off the ground for the past 7 years. It’s been product design, beta test after test, changing focus, pandemic and how that halted my in person services, to health issues and divorce. I can really relate to not feeling quite ready enough, knowledgeable enough or skilled enough to push for more, despite being approached by, and having worked with a TV producer from LA to make a reality show off my brand and what we do. I definitely think the autism is part of why I hold back. This year however is where I need to start sharing my content with the world. You’ve inspired me to reach for more. This is so lovely to hear. It's taken me longer to get to where I am than I would have liked. But like you I've had health and life hurdles to overcome. But you'll get there going at your own pace. It's got to be the best way that works for you, and if that means doing it slightly differently because of being autistic (or any other reason) then so be it. Nothing wrong with that. I'll be cheering you on!
I think having the wholesale cats. are more suited to be posted out after the trade show- I watched Coconutacha's jourrney to wholesale with interest. Wholesale would not be for me! I had a fashion label friend who said it all in a few words "go big or go home"- for her it meant Having to source from India and China. The big businesses have only 1 language, bottom line, and they will push you down down down, to maximise their profits. Terrifying.
