I didn’t know about all the controversy with this building. Honestly find it crazy that it was a government housing before that. Wouldn’t mind living in the rocks for 10k a year 😂
It is such a huge shame. This building used to be social housing for decades. But developers kicked the social tenants out, renovated the interiors of the building and slapped multimillion dollar price tags on every renovated apartment. They put profits before people.
Yeah, why should the people who leech off tax payer dollars get harbour view high-end units when other people can barely afford shitty rentals out west?
@@jamieruggier6323 in the grand scheme of things, 3 years is nothing. Once you start your own business and get your first taste of making your own money it’s very addictive. You learn to love the process and not the end goal. I’ve been at it 3 years properly and I’m only 1% of the way to my end goal. But I wake up everyday happy knowing that If I keep it up I’ll never have a “boss” again
@@Nesh_down_underyeah, had someone tell me the other day the reason houses are so expensive is cause “we’re running out of land” Pretty sure Australia has some of the lowest population density in the world hahha
@@oliver.smedley much of Australia is so dry as to be uninhabitable for human settlement, because you can’t get reliable drinking and irrigation water out that far
