Amazing music. I would've loved to be at Abbey Road watching this happen in person. Paul's got to be one of the most talented songwriters in the 21st century. I mean think about it, The Beatles broke up 37 years ago...yet their music continues to sell, and a new generation discovers their albums/singles everyday. This music will live on.
Forget about who was more talented, a better musician, singer or songwriter. let's just be thankful that these two not only met but inspired and drove each other to make music that means so much to so many people. Talk about prolific..most recording artists would kill to have created just a handful of their catalog. Beatles = Greatest Band Ever!

John and Paul are equally good... one is not better than the other one... John and his lyrics and songwritting while Paul with music and composition. these two completed each other... so John = Paul.

you have all these sound engineers at this studio, and no one seems to care that theres high frequency squeel feeling back when paul makes an "S" sound when he talks?
Anyone who says that's not a Beatle's tune is correct technically. But there isn't a single thing about the way it sounds that would tell you its not..You guys who are saying bad things about Paul just so you can say how much better John's music is are misinformed and misguided. By john's own admission there would not have been any Beatle's music after 1966 it not for Paul. Paul has seen it all as far as Music industry goes, yet he remains a humble and gracious personality..
@XxGINDIxX If pual did not have talent, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, etc..would have never been made..they were equal musicians on their own but GODS together....

The fact of the matter is that if paul wasn't a musical genius then why would the beatles be studied at A-Level music, which i did, and let me tell you it was very hard and very complicated. A composer has even said that leaving home is as good as anything Schubert composed. Popular music would not be what it is without Paul and John.

Its a shame that an accidental encounter with the musique concrete makers didn't occur. Paul would have been stretched beyond anything previous but would have been really innovative after realising the possibilities. Think Tomita Debussy Elaine Radigue Islas Resonantes.
i know this seems random but john frusciante of the red hot chili peppers does the same thing he just records great music with simple technology and old instruments in his living room.

John was obviously very talented and I do prefer his voice...but Paul can play just about any instrument better than John. Anyways lets not get into this typical Paul vs John fight instead letscall it Paul + John= Greatest team of all time ;)
@XxGINDIxX Mate there equal, but both nowhere as good as when they are together, both of their creativity dried up slightly after the Beatles, nothing of John's solo stuff was as good as Strawberry Field, A Day in the Life or Mr.Kite and nothing on Paul's solo stuff was as good Penny Lane and She's leaving Home
Apart from the band on the run album John Lennons solo work was superior to McCartney IMO. He was fed up with the polished George Martin way of producing and he was fed up with the Beatles. John's solo stuff was honest and straight from the heart.

I still think Chaos And Creation was the worst Mc.Cartney lp ever made.Before it was Off The Ground. Memory Almost Full was alot better.
