Great information sir and good instruction on how to get Alcantara clean and restored SAFELY! That's the key with Alcantara. Take your time! It's a durable material if you keep it clean from the beginning. Even once a month "maintenance" cleaning makes a HUGE difference with Alcantara.

@@STATUSDETAIL Absolutely. Wealthy people generally don't tend to be into detailing (Very very few) because they either don't have the time for it, or, quite simply, just don't care about it. If their expensive supercar get's all trashed up, they just sell it and buy a new one. OR, thankfully for detailers, they bring them to a reputable detailing facility to get it brought back to new like condition. On the flip side of that thought, if you and I owned one of these beautiful machines, I would be out in my garage on a daily basis wiping off the steering wheel of any oils, wiping and vacuuming the interior every day, rinseless washing it after every use, etc. etc. Hell, I do that with my Nissan 370Z which is in like new condition after 9 years with only 15,000 miles on it. It literally still smells brand new inside. If I had this Supercar, I'd probably sleep next to it every night, LOL.

If they are alcantara then this method works. If the car is literally brand new then I'd wipe once with gyeon prep then go for it.
I personally do not really like smart fabric on alcantara seats. Or steering wheels. I use l1 leather gaurd actually and reapply more frequently.
Smart fabric in my experience slightly altera the feel and has a pretty strong smell. It's great on convertible tops and carpets.

      How old is it?
      How do you clean it?
Assuming it's not very old... Like ten years and really dirty I believe you can save it. It's pretty important to really "scrub" the fibers when damp with cleaner. Then use dry towels to suck that moisture out. Then brush the lightly damp fibers to kind of revive them. Feel free to dm me photos on Instagram. I really don't want to add extra moisture in for no reason so technically doing that might just get more water in the fabric.
