Thanks! I Very useful review. I recently bought the course and returned My thoughts are very similar to yours. As for Jim Cockrum...I've only heard good things. But, like you...I'm a bit cautious...questioning.
so, as a newbie with no track record why don't i take just a smaller percent (not 25% !) of that first amazon listing I reworked if the sales were more than when the client did not have me (i.e., if i increased their sales by zero % then my commission is also zero.) then just increase from there with each subsequent product, getting better over time and building track record. I mean we all have to start SOMEwhere...
You have to start somewhere...true. What you need to do is make the offer irresistible to the prospective client. Whether that means taking a smaller percentage or even doing the first one free, that's what you need to do. The thing to remember is if you have no track record, there is more risk to the prospective client so you need to reduce the risk in other ways if possible.
Sales skills = people skills = engendering trust. You're dead-on with your critique of the so-called "Proven Product" course, it can work - but you're going to have to look beyond the Amazon sales channel (commission/fees above 10% aren't feasible), and product unit cost have to be >$20.00 to to achieve exceptional results...
