Nice demo, tasteful playing. Mesa boogie studio 22 Plus is an incredible sounding amp and built like a tank. I gigged mine for YEARS! Still sounds great too.

As somebody said yes, it takes the focus away from the amp at times because you are really a fine guitarist! (ha ha) I've been wanting one of these studio 22 pluses for years-have to have reverb on any combo I buy. Hope I can find one for a decent price but I know that may be difficult. A guitarist in one of the band's I was in was using a jubilee and it was a amazing tone with his Les Paul, cut right through the mix, I was using a Mesa nomad 100 combo and the two amps were really great sounding for blues rock 👍

Wonderful, playing. Do you thank this amp would be a good compromise for home and gigging use. I play soul funk sound. (Ideally I would by a Fender twin reverb but they are far too loud). Would the Mesa be a good choice?

That's a fantastic price for a great amp. I got a wood and wicker S O B full of options 10 yrs ago for $800 and thought I did good. But I did do good on the road case $120.

E' un ampli che ha come potenza 22W quindi non poco, a casa si puo' suonare ma ovviamente a volumi contenuti quindi la pasta a cui ti riferisci forse è difficile da ottenere. Ma per esempio il volume che avevo nel video non era esagerato ma allo stesso tempo molto godibile. Però per esempio con un semplice attenuatore puoi ottenere ciò' che cerchi.

Io da poco sto usando il torpedo captor della two note, davvero moto soddisfacente, è una load-box reattiva quindi volendo puoi collegare direttamente la testa dell'amplificatore alla scheda audio per registrare con ottimi risultati, inoltre assieme alla load la twonote fornisce un software "the Wall of sound" dove all'interno hai moltissimi IR per quanto riguarda la simulazione del cabinet. Sempre della two note è molto bella la load X. Se fai un giro trovi moltissimi video così puoi farti un idea. Spero di essere stato utile.

The only amp I have ever regretted selling. Sold it to trade up to a Lone Star Special, which I hated (apart from the clean 5w channel). The studio 22+ is a stand alone classic and not fashionable, so great value for money.
@@jamediaconsulting hi.. the amp settings are very simple .. in the clean sound, medium highs and lows are more or less in half, depending on the guitar, in the crunch or distorted sound the gain is a little below half
Ciao, grazie per aver scritto..!! A parer mio li digerisce benissimo. I pedali risultano molto più naturali e più' flat rispetto alla risposta data da altri ampli, cosa a mio parere importantissima. Ha un discreto volume prima di saturare ma comunque il suo clean leggermente saturo a mio parere è veramente TOP . Versatilissimo!!! Io ho suonato tanto pop su palchi abbastanza grossi ma anche tanto blues, jazz , soul. Lo reputo adatto proprio ad un tipo di chitarrismo versatile, esattamente quello che ho cercato di comunicare nella demo.

Does your lead master knob attenuate volume on the the lead channel properly? Can you set the two channels up with the same usable volumes with pure cleans and full distortion? The lead mstr does nothing on my amp and am trying to figure out why.
Hi, if I remember correctly, since unfortunately I no longer have the mesa like me, you should have a volume, master and lead and all three have a specific function. The led is the volume of the distortion.
Its a little hard to focus on the amp thats featured in the video when you distract the viewer with showing off your badass guitar collection at the same time. Great playing too man! You seemed really in touch with the strat in particular. But they all sounded nice through the amp as well. I think ill buy the one i found for sale here locally thanks to your video. It helped a lot. Thanks
And I finally picked one of these up on Friday last week and I'm really impressed. It can get really loud really fast and can take whatever you give it. It really shines with humbuckers. It's given me new motivation too play my Les Paul Standard more. And it also sounds great when plugged in to a cab. Thanks again for your video. It made me go from thinking about buying one to just pulling the trigger. Glad I did.

Con la strato in generale gli ho tirato un po' il collo ed in questo modo essendo un 22 watt riesco ad ottenere quel suono leggermente sporco che a me piace tanto. Per quanto riguarda "la casa" sicuramente non puoi dargli tantissimo volume, 22 watt cmq si sentono. Per ottenere questi suoni a volumi casalinghi ti consiglio un attenuatore che porta l'ampli da 22 watt a 10. Cosi facendo puoi dargli volumi ed ottenere un suono simile. Questo vale con tutti gli ampi.
Ciao, volevo chiederti se é considerato un ampli "inferiore" (diciamo alternativa più economica) rispetto ai mark o se semplicemente é una bestia a parte...ed in tal caso in cosa differisce. Nello specifico vorrei capire com'é il distorto dato che suono metal anni '80.

Questo è un ampli a parer mio versatilissimo, puoi suonarci davvero tutto. Nel distorto che senti con la Les Paul il gain non è al massimo è più o meno a meta.

can this handle a practice with a hard hitting drummer ? i mean, is loud enough? i am talking about something like prog metal a la dream theater or symphony x (but more amateur obviosly lol )
the amp is very nice .. it's a 22 w ii I also played heavy rock. In my opinion with good valves it is a good maintenance it is possible to make it ring at high volumes
Finally someone who doesn’t use total distortion and rather allows us to hear what the amp sounds like clean and with various guitars. Thnx!
