- Section from Deep Creek Hot Springs to Agua Dulce! I quite enjoyed this section, very scenic and got to link back in with a few people I had split up with after my double zero from last episode. Spent the day recovering in Agua Dulce yesterday, a very relaxing zero for sure. Onwards and upwards! #pacificcresttrail #thruhike #backpacking #pct2024

@@phil_forrest Be safe supposedly this storm hitting early Saturday the 4th AM has some snow in it and possibility of up to a foot or more at elevation.

How does it feel so far? I feel like I over romanticize sometimes, just curious how you feel
Honestly been amazing so far. Yes there are some monotonous bits, usually felt in the latter half of the day when you're tired and ready to set up camp, but each day brings new & amazing scenes and experiences. Moving faster than I originally planned has also been helpful, feeling a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day & seeing how much ground can be covered in a couple days has kept me optimistic & excited. It's not all sunshine & rainbows, but the good has by far outweighed the bad so far.
