Thank you for doing this video. Clarion inn/Rosen inn Lake Buena Vista has been such a hidden gem for off property hotels considering the ones just nearby are way more expensive. This really is the best bang for the buck hotel outside of Disney. You can’t beat the price, cleanliness and location
You are very welcome and we totally agree with everything you have said. Such good value for money and the staff that work there are really nice. Thank you so much for watching.
Just found your video! I've stayed there on 6 occasions, back in '98, first time, on and off until 2013. So it started life as the Comfort Inn, then the Clarion Inn, and now the Rosen. More name changes than some celebrities! I agree for me travelling solo, it was perfect. Always felt very safe walking up the lovely road, to Crossroads, which I know is no longer there. So sad. Used to buy all my room supplies at Goodings. The staff remembered me from one year to the next. Couldn't believe that I was actually WALKING back to the hotel, with 2 bags of heavy shopping! It was the couple of bottles of water that made it so heavy! Like you, I always asked for a parking lot room. I suffer with insomnia, so any noise is a problem. The very first year I went with a 'boyfriend' I did request a pool view room, obviously not realising about I-5. It was like being in the middle of a motorway! However, after going to reception, it was changed the following day. I agree with you, that the rooms are fine, I had no probs. with cleanliness. The staff when I was last there were great. Some had been there for years, Jill in the restaurant for eg. She was great! Always brought me 2 teabags, as she knew the Brits like strong tea! The only negative i.m.o. is the transportation to the parks. It has rapidly gone downhill over the years. For me, it is/was extremely important. Back in the day it was a different company. Went to all the parks, with so many time choices. Now no M.K. no A.K. and I think I noticed no Epcot. Ridiculous. I can also remember 'back in the day' there was a bus to Downtown Disney, now D.Springs. Some changes, i.m.o. aren't for the better. I was very friendly with one of the Managers who was there on my last 2 visits, I remember suggesting to her, that perhaps if adults paid $10 a week and children $5, which is not a lot, that maybe that could go to help improving the service. She did mention, that they were thinking about going with another company, but I read online, it's still the same one! Sorry that I've rambled on! The video brought back a lot of memories, so thank you.
I am so glad you enjoyed the walk through. It is more like going home when you stay here. All the staff remember you and talk to you. We always stay here as we love it so much. We don't use the buses I am afraid, we usually have a car, but the prices have gone up so much with Covid, we used Uber. Yes I would definitely always request a car park view. Thank you so so much for watching we really appreciate it.
Thanks for showing us around, this place looks nice & we have heard so many good things said about this place 👍🥰 Hope your week is going well, stay safe & Take Care ❤️🤩xx
Excellent tour! I really like this hotel. I’ve been here twice, and I’m visiting again at the beginning of June. The proximity to Disney is amazing. Terrific for Ubers!
Fantastic video. We are planning to go in November and I don’t drive so seeing the shuttle times and hotel map with number 50 bus stop position was so helpful.
Great job showing us around this very clean looking budget hotel. It’s really good getting a valued review and being able to stay at a hotel like this one and not always relying on trip adviser for reviews. Thanks Michelle. Great walkthrough 😁❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️
Thanks for this Michelle. We definitely be doing Disney at some point and it will be budget friendly so this has really helped! Currently looking at prices now
Great vid, we would describe this place as a travel lodge (service station) next to the M1. We just stayed there, unfortunately it was nothing like we were promised by Tui. Some of the staff were ignorant and unhelpful, shuttle service and timetable was a joke, costing us hundreds of dollars in Ubers, restaurant buffet was greatly overpriced (despite being guests there) and we had many other issues with staying at this place. Some good points, but unfortunately a lot more negative than good.
Thank you so much. So glad you liked the video. I got Covid whilst I was their at Christmas and Mr Bob and the staff at the hotel were amazing. The cleaning staff were also so good. We always eat at Millers and out and about so I don't know about the restaurant and we had a car. But I have heard about the shuttle service. Thank you so much for watching.
I've stayed here twice in 1992 & 2019 + think it's a great hotel. Definitely clean & like the fridge & coffee maker in the room. Michelle is parking still free & do rooms have any extra taxes per night When I checked out there was nothing extra to pay
Am just gutted Disney knocking down Crossroads & building an exit ramp to take u straight to back entrance of Disney world. Just so close to Premium Outlets & easy to nip along to International Drive. Am with you Michelle!
Thanks you for this great view of the Rosen Inn. I was wondering if the shuttle to Disney and Universal was free of charge and did you need to make a reservation beforehand?
It is free, I don't think you had to reserve. We never used it. As it takes you to epcot and then you have to get transport. It was at a strange time too. We got ubers at $15 each way to magic kingdom drops you straight at the entrance. I know it was very busy on the shuttle bus.
We are staying here end of Feb fingers crossed ,I know it's a silly question but are there restaurants and shops nearby I know its silly but we aren't driving and my elderly mum hates crossing the busy roads there is there places on the side of the hotel lol no roads to cross thankyou looks great ,brilliant video I've now subscribed xx
You will have a fantastic time. Not silly at all we did not drive for a week. I do know what you mum means it is very scary crossing the roads in America. Ubers are very cheap as well. There are Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Hooters Kitty O'sheas Irish Pub Susuru (Japanese) Black Fire Brazilian Steakhouse Sofrito Latin Cafe Olive Garden - would recommending booking Dennys Burger King Qdoba mexican subway Those are on the side the hotel is on and you don't have to cross a road. They have Millers, steak and shake and lots more if you cross the road. Thank you so so much for subscribing.
@@AtractionsMayhem1234 just finished your vid! Tell you what you can take a lass out of Yorkshire but....😆. Good to here we are all looking forward to it as its been 2years wait now with Covid 🙄
Thanks for this, really helpful. Am about to book last minute for the Easter hols, seems mad with the amount of planning that used to be needed for Disney but looks like we can still get parks reserved which I'm surprised about! Just wondered if you were able to walk from hotel to any restaurants? We won't have a car and as 4 of us will need Uber XL so think costs will mount up if we can't walk at least some places. Deciding between this and Rosen International, which does look like more places walking distance. Would be great to have your opinion. 🙂
Thank you so much I am so glad you found it helpful. It depends which parks you are going to. If you are going to Universal the most then International drive is the best. If you are going to Disney and Seaworld then Rosen Lake Buena vista is great as it is so near. It cost us around $15 each way in an uber and there wasn't that much difference in an Uber Xl sometimes we got one of those for extra room. The good thing with an uber is it drops you right at the entrance to magic kingdom where the buses drop off. There are loads of places to eat within walking distance, you have steak houses, dominos, denny's, starbucks, olive garden, Millers, steak and shake, pizza hut, to name a few. 2 Petrol stations where you can buy water etc and it is not much in an uber to walmart on Turkey Lake Road to stock up on supplies. Hope this helps and have a great time.
@@AtractionsMayhem1234 Thanks, really appreciate your reply. I have booked LBV now and perhaps we'll use the shuttle for Universal so we can cut down a little on the Uber costs. Great that you got dropped at entrance to MK, I had heard on a FB group that Uber wasn't allowed to do that anymore.
Brilliant you will have an amazing time. We went at Christmas and they dropped us off there, where all the buses go. They have a drop off point. But it could have changed. xxx
I am doing a trip with my older 2 children and I needed transportation I can drive but only just passed my test so would be so nervous to drive over Would it be best to use the free transportation or use Uber we are hoping to go for 2 weeks
all ways stay at the rose inn international on international drive Orlando very good value for money been there 4,times now staff very helpful got a restaurant which his very good value for money and a bar
Thanks so much. This hotel is so near to disney that is why we stopped here. We have stopped at the one on International Drive as well and we enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Hello :) I am thinking of staying here next year with my partner. We usually stay at Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando as we find it in the middle of both Disney & Universal. Would you know the Uber price from Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista to Universal? Thank you
It really is a great hotel. We did not go to Universal I am afraid only to disney. It was 15 dollers to magic kingdom if this helps. It is a really friendly hotel.
Yes definitely. You have a shopping center 10 mins walk with eating places and 15 minutes you have Dennys, Olive Garden and Millers, Steak and Shake etc. I wish I had done a walk through of all the shops and restaurants that are nearby. Thanks for watching.
