- PART 2 OF 2. From 4-23-09. I'm surprised they left out the footage where she mistakenly gave critiques to 2 performances when the 2nd performance hadn't occurred yet. She explained that it was based on rehearsals, which the judges watch.

Im guessing they didn't know she was a dangerous talker and would ever go that far figured she was a idolized stalker they made sure to show her drawings of Paula during her audition

I feel sorry for her. I have the same thing and I suffer from sleep deprivation and I get loopy. No one understands anything remotely close to it unless you have something like it. Paula I'm a big fan of yours and you have my all my support. Stay strong!

Incredible I have most days can't get out of the bed much less the house
And I used to work 2 jobs very active going to school , dance as well as gymnastics in my local gym
But when the pain hit I was never able to be what I was
It's very hard and people only see you when you are on top not when you are sick people don't care for that it's a horrible world out there but she is a true lady and I love her more for it!!!

i suffered from sleep depreciation but not to that extent. i was completely beside myself, but her slurry and incoherent speech makes me think the reason behind it is something else.
It's kinda creepy that someone (Paula's crazy fan who stalks her) committed suicide in front if Paula's house I wouldn't of wanted to live there anymore like her spirit could haunt me

creepy? why are you shocked she was a psychotic obsessed stalker isn't that already creepy in itself being so obsessed with someone to the point of not leaving them alone . Really sad everyone was very aware that that girl was a stalker and Paula warned them she's beyond a fanatic but a stalker. And they thought it was fun for entertainment and ratings and put the braces girl in the audition.

I'm surprised, also, that no one has raised the point that exhaustion and lack of sleep (i.e fatigue) looks and acts like intoxication. I've certainly had my share of sleepless nights and I know how loopy I get when I've been up working 23hrs straight. Plus, you add in fatigue due to traveling... It's not difficult for me to take her word for it. Stay strong, Paula!

I agree on that. BUT I certainly saw Abdul drunk AF many times during auditions where she juat slurred her words you litteraly could hear and see that she was drunk AF. Also just watch her as she got asked if she was drunk on the shows she litteraly nodded her head but answered no.. But nodded her head yes before she answered no.. So her body language told us the truth whereas her mouth told a lie
Yeah at the time I really thought she was drunk but recently I was working long hours and talking to people I think I was up over 30 hours no sleep or rest just a seat once in awhile and I went out to dinner to talk about my job and what not my boss and crew thought I was drunk or on drugs because of how I looked and how I acted but I told them I’ve been up since the day before but they didn’t believe me so I got a reprimand because they thought the day before I was drunk on the job because of that day at the dinner table even though I wasn’t drunk at the job lol idk I just didn’t have time to sleep it was the most busy days in my life
Youre stretching so bad. Almost like stretching for your own problems. She was on something, on pills or drunk doesnt matter… she was not herself. Being fatigued makes you loopy, it doesnt do this…

As a former dancer myself at 50 years old I can relate to the pain in my body from decades of dancing n performing! Ppl who say..arnt as active dont understand thst being a dancer for meny years takes its toll on ur phisical body!

She played Roxie on LA Law. She had divorced my brother -also an actor. He had a vile personality and was stalking her and set her car on fire on the CBS set. She and the studios put up a restraining order on him.
But they saw the potential to raise their viewing numbers for the season finale which was a 2 parter. so they hired him to play a snake handler whose snake ate someone's pig.
She was mortified. The whole sordid mess made the tabloids .
She is the nicest person ever and didn't deserve it.
These production companies have no morals.
I like her. She seems to be a nice person despite being in the public eye. We all have problems, just ours aren’t magnified for the world to see and give their opinion. I’m sure the money and fame make it better in some sense, but in others, not so much. I’m rooting for her...
Seriously what has this got to do with CRPS/RSD?
She has five conditions and yet I can not see a single symptom. She must be getting some celebrity medicine because the majority of us with CRPS are bed bound with or without medication. Mainly because it is untreatable. Good job the public do not know enough about this to question her story. As a long term sufferer of this I can assure you that she does not display a single sign. Unfortunately there is actually ways to diagnosis this.
Hmm. I get what you're saying. There is no specific celebrity meds. She also even said that she doesn't use any meds for them at all. Which to me is certainly a lie. I am sure she takes a lot of meds. Probably some opiates and stuff like that. I just hate it that she's not being honest about her use. If she just came clean about it and owned it, it wouldn't be a big deal at all. Nobody would even care. But I hate that she is lying about it. But maybe you're right and she really doesn't have these conditions at all or at least not all of them. I can't really tell because I don't know much about these illnesses.
I believe you over Paula and her “doctor “. Paula seems to fabricate stories on the fly quite a bit. She’s famous so she can get people to cover for her too.
@@wioi I heard her saying that she was in a plane crash or two and had several car accidents in an interview. She was embellishing on the story as she went along, it really seemed to me. She is a Gemini you know and they usually have a knack for lying and twisting facts as easily as they breathe.

I think that a lot of people are very judgmental until they end up in a chronic pain situation. Then they are suddenly empathetic.
BriannaNoob The judges had to promote the show. They were under contract and had to do their scheduled set of interviews. Saying "I'm fcked up, gotta skip all my interviews today" would be a breach of contract. She ended up being replaced anyway tho.
They should have never let her on the show.

@sha8808 I dont think she does.. I think she just keeps her face tight if she's nervous or in pain or something.. honestly with all the medical crap she has to deal with I doubt she'd take botox. She's had it on her neck before to try and kill damaged nerves and stuff but as for the rest of it it's probably not a good idea.. she did say before that she uses skin tightening cream though--

I have chronic pain and I'm up for days.. Pain meds, Muscle relaxer and nerve meds.. I act sideways.. She weight less then me and works. I think she is over medicated by her doctors... If that is the case
hey finally there is someone who understands real pain. I have sever back problems and lower disk problems with nerve pain that goes all over my entire body and there are nights where I wont sleep for 3 nights in a row because of it. when I go through all the fatigue and pain and no sleep for nights at a time there are days were I'm just about sleep walking and I wont remember what I did a few days. I've had family and friends sit me down and beg me to go to rehab and get help when in fact I do not take any drugs and I don't even drink occasionally at all. so I really truly believe her.

Why is this interviewer so rude? Poor Paula, obviously Paula is not on drugs, she’s clearly stressed and tired. You see a different Paula on American Idol Auditions when she’s getting 8 hours of sleep every night than on the live shows and on the news because she is not getting sleep she has to work and make money and do stuff, people are so mean to her, now she’s finally gotten a break and good for her

While I don't know what's causing the behavior, she obviously craves the limelight and attention, not to mention the money. She has many projects like jewelry making and songwriting that she can do in private. There's no need to embarrass herself and make life difficult for her publicist, interviewer and audience. Parton, my sister has RSD and she has never behaved like that. Nor has anyone in her support group. All your reports come from Paula Abdul fans, some of whom may have the disease. That's not objective You can blame any behavior on a disease; i.e. I killed people because I am overweight which caused me mental anguish, etc. But that doesn't show a CAUSAL relationship.
