In the video we never spit out the EXR prices, so here they are: In the US, the EXR sells for $9,299, while North of the border in Canada the unit goes for $13,499.
FYI the seadoo base spark 60hp engine is same as the 90hp. Ecu running is only difference. 200$ tunes can give you up to 110hp on either model. The trixx was likely introduced to keep people from buying the 60 because the extra features of the trix are really nice. Super adjustable trim. Etc Also note the Polaris sportsman 450 and 570 are the same 570 engine Tuning is only difference as well.
@junkey55 just what I read somewhere. it was a 570 though and rated a 450. idk about the head . seems expensive to have 2 designs. as far as I know guys are getting 115hp with tunning out of 60hp seadoos. cheers.
A PSA: The rec lite category of PWCs are good for wave jumpers or smooth water fun. If you want to do long cruising, or you live in an area where it's choppy all the time the Rec Lites aren't for you. I get lots of people asking me for advice on their first PWC purchase. I've been into them since about 1995 and can give solid advice on old and new watercraft. What I've found is people don't want to spend a lot of money, which is understandable however they get something in this category then get turned off by the rough ride in choppy water and give up on the PWCs all together. So make sure you are getting the proper watercraft for your riding conditions, and what you actually want to do with it.
thanks for the info , what do you suggest for long range crusing fishing (camping on a island ) in choppy water ?? im new to this , and on a limited budget unfortunately..... seems i cant have both :(
It's not actually "just 1 hour." It's actually 95 minutes. If you read carefully, it says 5 minutes, then the 30 minutes after that, then the hour after that. So you need the full time period for each segment - not just reaching those total hours.
My 2010 supercharged FZS is still that fastest Waverunner I've seen. 1812 cc supercharged...with a 13/22 pitch solas impeller...I got tossed off it by a rogue wave doing 60+....it sucked
Are these tunable to free up any restrictions it may have? Thinking of getting one since the price point is good, and seems like the quality may be a bit better then the sea doo spark
Yeapp John22724 , and the EX has about 100hp.. It has to be the ECU or something thats holding the rpm:s back under break in. Or something is wrong. After all.. its those extra revs that gives the EXR the 10% power increase.
@@rydingwithryan493 Sure , It still not even close to those numbers.. ive driven a couple jetskis that revs over 8000.. like the seadoo spark that revs about 8300, it did fine on those revs.. så this should do it to
His ski isnt right... The exr is suposed to hit 4-5 mph more then the ex normal . With the ecu , intake grate and longer pump. And the rpm suposed to hit 8k.
Stowage is a complete joke when compared to the ST3 SeaDoo models ! And as for removing the seat to get to the safety equipment ... how challenging would that be if you were caught out in 20 foot waves ?
Pretty pathetic that a $10,000 ski barely touches 50mph. You’re only saving like $2000 vs a gp1800r. The ex needs to be around $8k for it to make any sense for it to exist
@@TheRealHeavyG What purpose? The spark hits 50 for $5500. This thing is nearly double the price and barely keeps up, along with the many complaints of it being unstable and pretty much unusable for two riders.
Albin Emanuelsson Honestly the tune does not hurt anything nor does the new impeller. The amount of fuel difference is unnoticeable and reliability from my experience should not change. My Spark has these mods for the last 3 seasons. 0 issues

Just buy the upgraded model!! It can ruin your warranty. Engine problems are uncommon, but some models have bad issues

nik lee, if you haven’t bought one yet the Kawasaki Ultra LX is your best option. Second would be a Yamaha FX HO

Helpful review with the break in, picking one up tommorow and definitely will do that

Just go straight and steer full, youll see it does bite lol, i test drove and almost flew out, hooks up way way better than my gp1200r
One handed high speed run!
Man my home river is eat up with these things. First it was the sparks and now these. They are everywhere
It doesnt mention that the seadoo spark 90 horsepower will top out at 80 km/hr
Are these tunable to free up any restrictions it may have? Thinking of getting one since the price point is good, and seems like the quality may be a bit better then the sea doo spark
Yes you can.
This and the Spark really need to start coming turbo charged especially for the price they need at least 160-180hp
AntiLag BoostAddiction the sparks weigh 405-420 lbs. Have you even rode them before? The power it has is more than adequate in the HO versions.
VTech in Europe makes a turbo kit for the spark
Don’t get me wrong but it looks like those 1990’s Seadoo’s. In fact at first sight I had to see the year to realize it was a 2019 Yamaha. Ouch!!!!!
Yeah man the models really haven’t changed that much
I thought the regular ex was 110 HP. Look at all the old comparisons of the ex vs spark.
You are the only person I've ever heard say Yamaha that way lmao
You mean like it's spelled?

Why does it only rev to 7400rpm.. it should rev to about 8100rpm without to much struggle
MrFriistyle I agree. The ex revs to 7400 and has a top speed of 51.

MrFriistyle I’m used to older skis. Maybe newer ones are better cause the hull is deeper in the water.
Would love to see Tommy's Jeep v the 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk off road.
Get the stx15f
pushin steel if you want to be prone to complicated or hard to fix problems then yes
Are you having issues with hitting top speed? It only tops out on 52 on clear long stretches
Aww yeah "yAm ma haw"
Try doing that one handed acceleration on an old wave raider 1100 triple. If you are under 180 pounds you will not be able to stay on.
After the third YAM-a-HA. I quit....
Buy a EX normal and put the riva stage 1 on it.. you will have more for your money
Except RIDE
I just got an ex took it out today got 52 mph in rough water

Fuel consumption?
The Yamaha ex top speed is 51 mph, seems like its not worth the extra money for the exr when he only toops out 51 mph on that.
Albin Emanuelsson no doubt. Just buy the Ex and re-pitch the impeller and get it tuned
