I love this test flight series you've done Bunyap, they are well made. It also brings back memories from when I grew up, they flew over the area I lived daily and even when we were out in the archipelago they usually pop up out of nowhere and scare the crap out of me with that sound haha.
Quick question on the HUD glass. I´ve seen other aircraft with movable HUD glass as well and I was wondering, wouldn´t it be a lot easier to just have a larger glass panel? Instead of having the pilot fiddle with it in flight?
I wanna see the RB-15F so badly! No youtuber has shown it yet and we have no pics of it. Ralfidude showed the Bk-90 in-use in his latest S*** n' Giggles episode. Also Bunyap used the Rb-75 and Rb-05 earlier in the series. ^^
ooh yea right forgot about the RB 75 Use in the first video. It looks different now then it did then (as shown by the Stream yesterday) but he has already shown how it worked etc. There is some Ingame footage of the RB15 being carried in the Mudspike Viggen Preview Vid/Trailer. So we know its there. But yea a Video on the Bk90 RB04 or RB15 would be great as the next one =).
**GASP** WHA--?! Oh my god I'm watching that preview right now. Thanks! ;^D I'd love a video on RBS-15F so I can finally learn how to properly use the "BX" markpoints. Perhaps he'll go over the radar's maritime reconnoissance capabilities as well.
It's really nowhere near as difficult as it might sound or look - keep in mind that Bunyap is performing a demonstration here, plus he's not performing a run with hundreds of hours of practice. In reality it's a simple aircraft, and that was more or less the design philosophy - automate as much as possible, to keep the pilot workload within sensible limits. Which was *really* important considering the standard operating procedure in the Swedish air force was to fly at mach .95 at 100 meters (officially - in reality, they flew more like 50m) above ground or sea level, dodging hills and trees (and, in at least one recorded incident, dodging power poles) - you really need the pilot focused on things other than aircraft systems.
All of the information you need, without any of the information you don't. Fantastic work on these Bunyap, it's much appreciated.
I want a sound board of Bunyap saying "Nice!" and "that'll be just fine"
XD
Thanks for going over the bombing modes for us Bunyap. It was enjoyable to watch! :^)

Nice video Bunyap, as ususal!
Got to love the glitches in the HUD, gives a tremendous immersion.
jank0oo theyre not glitches
Sebastian Craenen What's happening 15.20? It that due to transonic vibrations?
jank0oo no idea
the ccip delivery system used by American and Russian aircraft is so much more simple. do you feel it's usable still?

Hey, love your tutorials, could you tell me how you had the flight manuals opened while you where flying the aircraft????
For your level bomb delivery, you have waypoint B1 set. I take it that it doesn't matter that you require a "T" or Target waypoint set?
Whats the next weapon you will show?
BK 90?
RB04E?
RB15F?
RB75? =>.
BK 90 yes please

Is there a way to drop 1 or 2 bombs at a time or does it always drop the full load like with the rockets?
You can stop pulling the trigger I assume, but it is supposed to drop all the bombs everytime.
This aircraft was born into a doctrine of one pass, very fast, low level attacks.
Is Viggen in DCS capable of SEAD? Can it carry anti-radar missiles?
No
Tail number is 37..... nice
And this is why F-4 and Tornado have a WSO. The pilot workload with these old targeting computers seems excessive.
I agree, this plane looks incredibly difficult to learn and operate. It does look fun though. Still trying to decide if I wanna preorder it or not!

There are much dirtier and less standard ways of doing things, They just don't result in anywhere the level of accuracy achieved
