Great video Courtney! Women supporting women! I absolutely love this. The story behind the rebrand is amazing as well. In my opinion, it shouldn't be just the "curly hair journey" but rather the "healthy hair journey", no matter what hair type you have! They ALL have their struggles but they ALL are beautiful.❤
Yes!!! 🥰 I love supporting small women owned brands AND would rather my hair feel good than look the absolute best it could. 😂 The protein leave in with the flax seed gel is so good, my waves end up so shiny and feel so good. I've been living in the emerald Curlfriend Collective scrunchie, it's the only one I've ever been able to use that doesn't feel like it's pulling. I was never able to pineapple before I got it. Plus Jackie and Chole are both just so much fun to follow, lol.

Been watching your channel and it’s great! Thanks for the tips. Working on the curly girl method now. In high school my hair was so healthy and definitely looked like a spiral perm, then in my 20-30’s and with each pregnancy (3) my hair would change, go straight, so I just gave up on trying to make it curl. Occasionally I would just let it go natural, but it was out of style, and flat irons and round brushes are in. Now I’m in my mid-40’s and trying to work on my natural curls. I’ve learns a lot is far so we will see if I can keep this up, my hair is so dry right now.
Oh I’m excited for this. Jackie is just the sweetest person, and I love her tips and tricks over on the gram. I can’t wait til she perfecta her shampoo, and hard hold gel!!!!

I recently tried a bit of my leave in and gel in a spray bottle and it worked so well for a refresh, considering I have hair that usually tangled and frizzes with a water refresh. Instead of putting it straight on my hair I will spray it on my hands and twirl the relevant curls. And then section my hair and spray and brush the underside as that's the bit that drops out the most. Would highly recommend the method!

I just started embracing my curls about 2 weeks ago. I used to get keratin straighteners every 6 months, then I noticed my hair felt so damaged after each K treatment wore off. My hair is so very dry and I am trying to get it a bit healthier before I go and have 6 inches whacked off.
I bought a bunch of Curlsmith products as my first curly products. It does seem to be helping the dryness. I will try Miribel next.
Who knew this journey was so time consuming on wash day!! ugh
Great video! I ordered hair cream and gel during Black Friday sale. I love both. So natural and gel is so smooth. I agree that these products or gel in particular give me a soft beachy wave vs. strong defined ringlets, but that's okay. Just a different look. I absolutely love supporting small, women owned businesses as well. I will definitely repurchase once I run out and try more products. ❤

All of the ladies at our church just love and adore my hair they're always complementing me about it.... In the summer time when I wash with curly hair products and use curly hair products because of the humidity my hair straightens.... I have been going through menopause for 4 years now
I watch all of your videos because you are the best but I am glad I watched this one. I have been using my my soigne protein cream for a year and I love it but with fine medium length hair, it looks like I haven't even touched it yet. Now I know I can use this as a rinse out conditioner so I don't waste it. I love the gel too but not enough hold for my waves. But I should try a beachy wave washday and see. I always prefer to brush style and make it as curly as possible but it is a lot of work. ❤️

I also love it when my hair is really soft. I guess that is why I like softer hold products. When I do a product free wash day my hair my hair is always so soft I run my fingers through it so much I end up making it kind of frizzy but I just can't help myself. I'll have to try this line. I have already bookmarked the website.

My hair didn't like the Curls Blueberry Bliss, so maybe I'll try the protein free cream. I have coarse hair, so possibly already enough protein. My hair loves Mop Top leave in and curly hair custard.

Just read that gel is Gr8t for moisture. Personally haven’t had good luck w/ gel yet. Do U have any lightweight gel recommendations? Sure hope some1 can help w/ this dilemma. Because I need to keep the moisture in my hair better.
Hi Wendy! I just started my wavy journey so I might not be the best person to recommend products, but I really like the Zotos Professional all about curls soft definition gel. I have fine, medium density hair, and it leaves a slight cast on me but scrunches out easily. Hope this helps!

I finger comb my hair everyday, and my curls just kinda clump back together.
How do the products smell?
She uses all natural Fragrances. I believe there is no fragrance in the creamy hair cleanser, it just smells like the natural ingredients. The other products have a very light lavender essential oil scent.
hi Courtney. I’m confused. Did you at one time say you have high porosity hair? I’ve been following you a long time and I swear you said you have high porosity hair.
She did often say that, I think in the video where she sent her hair for analysis (My mane bio I think?), she got told she had low porosity hair, which made sense to me since she did cut off her damaged ends so her hair is almost 'virgin'. I think the hair's actual density and diameter matters more than porosity imo.
