BMW F900XR - Service & Costs - EN Sub | Long-Term Report #3

- Our BMW F900XR just got 1,000 km and we took it to the service for the first check. In this episode, we're discussing about the service operations, service intervals and the service price. Since the service units have different working hour prices depending on every country and even region, it's impossible for us to come with a price list. However, we got the price for Germany. Generally speaking, the parts cost about the same, while the working hour cost might be different. So, in Germany:
- 1,000 km Service - €160
- 10,000 km Service - €226
- 20,000 km Service - €490
*If you own a F900XR and you're living in a different country, and already made the first service, help us by posting the costs.
Brake pads - since the riding style is different, there's no specific mileage for the brake pads change. The price: Front: €120, Rear: €45
Our F900XR accessories:
The mirrors: €470
The crash-bars: €372

Cost me $350 USD for my first service on my F900r. I am located in the USA.
Have you unlocked and riden with the riding modes pro yet? Wondering about how dynamic pro feels😀
Amusing to see Stefan and Romica on UA-cam. Well done and ty for the info. Ill call the guys after the Easter for the regular service :)
Where’s the top case and panniers ha. Do the 1200R style ones for this? Thanks
Romanian reminds me a lot of italian. Thanks for the subtitles, as a spanish native speaker I was catching 50% of your conversation, ok, maybe less😅😂
Same here lol. Definitely a mix of French in there too (i.e. merci and ciao)
Can you make a comparison between the f900xr and the f750gs? Being both road oriented touring bikes think it could be a fair comparison.
Amazed they let them guys share the van!
awesome here in USA people go for rides w no problems, stay safe my friends, cheers V!
because is USA the constitutional rights still mean something
@@rationalityfirst about to change with Biden
@@faridb40 nah, I'm confident Sleepy Joe will remain only the MSM's president
Hi, Would you please compare the bike with Multistrada 950 S. Thank you.
How many miles per gallon are you getting?
Would have like a slower preview of the added accessories.
Cristian, Why is your garage door opener switch so high?
It was probably installed by Bogdan :)
Here in Canada the first service comes in close to $500 CAD which is about EUR 320.
How will the XR handle offroad If you add for instance 70/30 or 80/20 tires? And can you compare iit with an R2200/r1250 GS?
I wouldn't do that. The XR is a street bike.
450 plus euro for mirrors..WoW!!
They'd have to be made of gold for that much!
Which manufacturer did you buy the crashbars from?
BlackPro12 bmw. Dind't buy them, though, to be honest
Please review new Triumph Street Triple RS 🏍️😄 when it'll be available and lockdown will ease. Until then stay safe 👍😄🏍️
Hope to get one soon :D
V nice bike but the silver mirrors just don't work for me tbh. Not keen on the silver crash bars either. Both expensive too
Thinking about upgrading from a BMW f750gs to the XR900. Do you think it’s worth it?
Yes. Big difference in engine response, handling, riding position. The XR is more fun to ride.

Many thanks. Quality vids by the way. Keep up the good work.
Does the XR900 have adjustable front forks?
@@eurotrash4629 no
Did you try to go off road with this bike. And if is good for not hard off road, i read for this bike front suspensions is not adjustable and this is not very good for off road riding.
Nikolay Mitrev this is a 100% street bike. I wouldn't recommend taking it in offroad
@@DriveMagRiders tnx. I looking something touring + not hard offroad. Now i have z650 2018 and this bike have only abs nothing else and this is the reason to looking something else. For long trip and small offroad. In Bulgaria some of the roads to forgoten vilages doesnt have asphalt.
😍👍🏻🎉
Thankfully his voice remain the same
sorry, but mirrors don't suit the bike.
My first service for my F900r cost me $350 USD. I am in the USA,
Need heated seats on that thing😏
please please tell me you NEVER PAID 450 EU FOR 2 MIRRORS ... OMG ARE YOU TOTALY NUTS ???
Wrong topic, man. Where's long term review and cost of service? Have you recorded it on Aptil 1? For what it is, the least you could do is putting subtitles .
The subtitles are over there, just click on them. There's a series of episodes about the F900XR. This is the third of them. Check the previous one over here - ua-cam.com/video/X936VmFddUU/v-deo.html. All the best, Cristian
Felix The Cost of service is in the description and in the pinned comment.
@@DriveMagRiders sorry I didn't see the description. Taking it back :)
You need to turn on subtitles yourself, the content creator can't turn them on for you, they are off by default. It's a standard part of the UA-cam app/site.
Do you actually know what means 'long term review' ?
I don't think so...
Alex1661 alex Like any other magazine/ media in the world, we're featuring reports through the whole season about the bike in our long-term fleet. This is the third one, others coming soon.
