    Great to see you getting that young lady out into the field (even when it's the park or yard) with you. You can never start too early teaching kids a love and respect for nature. I dig the upgrades on the stove, too. I liked the first one, but this one is even better. You and the mini have a great week coming up and take care.

    I've got pomoly's 2-4 man tepee and their 4-6 man. I'm trying to figure out the best way to bring in fresh air into the 6 man as it does not have A vent like the 4 man. The two issues I have with opening the top is its not really practical to open it in bad weather and I don't know if opening it will draw air into the tent. I know it will vent the tent but I don't know about it bringing in fresh air. I spoke with the guys at pomoly and I may have to crack open a door a little bit to get some ventilation. My concern is carbon monoxide but also without the proper fresh air the stove will have an issue drawing properly. I'm thinking I'll crack open the top in good weather and unzip the door a little in bad weather. The top can be adjusted as to how much you open it. Besides all that the shealters are AMAZING for the price and the 6 man is the perfect size for me. The materials and craftsmanship are very, very good for this price point hands down. I can tell you that their customer service is really good too! Rockey and Ryker were both great to deal with. I run a winnerwell woodlander medium in the 2-4 man and it's been a really nice setup all under $600. Can't beat it

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  4 роки тому +3

      They are making some really great gear. I would not worry about the air quality , it's just too big of air oxygen rich environment to run low due to the stove, remember if there is no air not only you cant breathe but neither can the stove. Its perfectly safe . As for the vent I have passed this on to the guys and I'm sure it will be added.

    • @wendygerrish4964

    Is the large side window worth it? Must be really aesthetically pleasing, but are they durable? Does it take much cleaning?

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you, the glass windows are extremely durable and strong and takes just seconds to clean with scrub pad. However if you do not require it i would suggest a non glass version of it available at pomoly.com

  • @GuionB

    Everything is out of stock except for the double glass model. What kind of maintenance are we seeing for black char/smoke buildup?

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  4 роки тому

      Yes more are being made right now. Sales really took off . I use a simple green scrub pad and water, 2 minutes of very light scrubbing its crystal clear again. Now I will say that it will actually self clean itself when burning clean, it's amazing the hot heat actually cleans the glass by burning off the carbon build up

    Nice stove Jeremy, I think I like it better than the 1st version. Something to save up for though, they are expensive. I think the last time I checked the Pomoly website, the stove cost as much as the Hex tent or more. Have to put them on my wish list. Yo that’s nice. It’s like the Winnerwell fast fold but it has a glass door. This is really what I want. I have a Seek Outside and it works but the easy assembly and glass door is great. The reinforcement ribs and those improvements really seem to be quality features. The shelters are interesting, I’m going to check out the site more. Thanks for showing me something new, I’m always interested in what’s out there. Nice to see the beautiful little person again. Great assistant. 😊❤️🇺🇸☃️❄️🛷⛺️🌄

    Is it hard to get replacement glass? How do you replace the glass on these when they break and where are they shipping replacement glass from?

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  4 роки тому

      The glass is high quality stove greade glass and extremely hard to break . It can be replaced in about 5 minutes with just a few screws to be removed. Check pomoly.com for accessories. I should mention the stoves are also available with no glass if needed.

    Enjoyed the video with you and your daughter. I have a question. Does the stove pipe go inside or outside of the collar? All of my other stoves have the pipe going on the inside of the collar, but on this stove the pipe kept falling off . I finally used the provided hose clamp and put the pipe on the outside of the collar. I suggest that a lock be placed on the legs to prevent the stove from collapsing when it is repositioned. As always, your videos are the best.

    Curious how long an established fire, full of hardwood will burn for with the drafts closed......?
    Wondering how many times it'd need to be filled during an overnight (8) hour period?
    Thanks!

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  4 роки тому +2

      You should never close down both the draft and damper all the way with any stove while sleeping due to smoke issues but turning the burn down slightly and the stove full if hardwood it can burn for about 2 hours with loads of residual heat

    Nice timing, thanks for the video and lovely to see you getting your daughter involved. I've been looking for a nice portable titanium stove and putting in a fair bit of research. These, particularly the T1 is looking like a hot contender. It's a nice practical size and a decent price. Some of the competitors are mind bogglingly expensive, some don't fold down, some others are very light, but a little too small to be hugely practical. The Winnerfell Fastold is half the weight, but no front window and much thinner Titanium walls. I think this will be more durable and handle extended use much better. The W3 is another new Titanium stove that looks quite nice with is lighter, but not as convenient.
