Hello. Would you recommend replacing the tube seal as well? Would we replace at the transmission or add it to the end of the dipstick? Thank you for the video.
I wouldn't replace the seal if it doesn't need it, my seal was completely fine I just slid the new tube in and called it good thanks for watching appreciate your viewership and your comment

If you go under the vehicle on the passenger side there's a little flat spot just right before the bell housing and there will be a hole there with a rubber seal that the dipstick tube goes into thanks for watching feel free to subscribe
@DIRTIGARAGE MODS is it flat and the tube goes in from the passenger side towards drivers not downward?
It goes in the flat spot of the the transmission on the passenger side of the engine, what engine do you have in the vehicle
@DRTIGARAGE MODS I really think I found the hole...just not exactly sure because it wld go in sideways , 3.7 L auto
Go to Google and type in a 4L60E transmission and you will be able to see exactly where the dipstick goes
this job is waaay harder than this video portrays. he said he was goin under. then he said he went from the top. yes. you will do that and more. and then you might just give up for the night like i did.. 😵
