I’ve watched a lot of carving instruction videos and this is the first one I’ve seen where you make a clay model first and I think this will be a very helpful technique for me to try. Thank you so much, beautiful work!
Fantastic work my friend. I love the way you explain your process. I am starting wood carving and your videos are excellent for reference. God bless!!!
Tripped over your site and this tutorial was wonderful. I'm not a wood carver (yet). Love to work with clay. Currently refurbing a fiberglass bird bath that has a few small birds on it. Will be working with apoxie sculpt to mend and add more detail with my Dremel prior to painting. This wonderful, professional and clear video has helped me with the selection of bits (new to my Dremel) that I can use. Thank you for aiding all crafters improve their art. God bless you for your generosity in sharing your time, talent and inspiration. May it come back to you ten-fold.

Thank you for the feedback! (I am still trying to figure this out). Unfortunately the photos I got were portrait. I should have just centered them instead of panning.

Butternut a very good wood carving wood
One of my favorites! I carved a fish out of it.
Can you send the link for photo
Nice carving. But my god i wouldn't carve right into your thumb with the knife! "You only get two thumbs"
Carving towards your thumb can be a very controlled movement but it definitely shouldn’t be done by someone without a lot of experience.
WOW 👌 👏 😍 👍
Thank you!
