Why we have added the rectangular portion width with the centroid of triangular portion for calculating "x" value of fig. 2..? (i.e; 4+2.33=6.33)

Hi why is it 1/3 ? i thought it was 2/3 ?
Depends on which end you are measuring from. 2/3 the distance from the short end, 1/3 the distance from the tall end.
