@BPlusEfforts no problem. The season 3 update didn't change Steven so much and I also struggle with the wifi all the time, but this right here gave me an idea on hopefully playing better, especially dealing with players who keeps using the runaway strategy
Naaaah. Loops are terrible for 2v2s. It's not difficult to catch both teamates in the same combo because they Have to do something and if you're performing a loop you still can dodge. The amount of clips i've seen of 2 bugs bunnies running around as spinning tops in 2v2s with the safe is ridiculous. Both players go from 0 to 120 just after a few loops. Only thing that can potentially stop that reliably is WWs side special on the ground. Steven's neutral shield on a Superman or someone who can break the safes quickly. Plus the hitboxes of many moves are so disceiving you'll get caught up in the blender yourself. I feel like there just needs to be more perks that can neutralize heavy, armor breaking projectiles that have long screentime. Neutral dodge/parry isn't reliable because most of those projectiles are slow and it's easy for the player to either play behind the projectile or play ahead to ensure it hits them. Actually... more perks in general. The old system was far better.
I agree the old Perk system was far better. I also believe Safe should be reworked. In the BETA safe was good but it wasn't as oppressive because our movement was so much faster we could avoid it. Now with the game being slower safe becomes a lot more of an ordeal.
@@BPlusEfforts Yes. Exactly. Quite frankly bugs shouldn't have 2 armor breaking moves that deal high damage in a single hit, and in the safe's case can be use several times to rack up stupid damage. We need more perks. Old perk system as well where everything affected both players. Tired of this focus on 1v1. I like the new 5% sig everyone got. It was a good alternative to some sigs i just didn't like at all. But it can work in the old system too. But... they don't need the increase in directional damaging moves. that was a bit bloated.
Just a funny reminder... Steven basically has Jacks side special, minus direct aiming and minus the massive warning that he's doing it. His side air is basically the same and crazy powerful too. lol
My ranked 1v1 is a best of 3, it looks like you are playing one game each time. Are you just showing the final game or is there a way to play one game ranked sets?
@@KKOOLSKOOL They’re trying SO hard to make a trend happen with platform fighters, one that didn’t stick the first time. The beta should’ve been such a clear financial run, they saw the downfall of their game. They saw what made it get popularity from fans without negative feedback. This is their fault, if the game does end up dying completely but not shutting down it’ll be like Brawlhalla where it’s in the shop free and it gets a few hundred downloads a day.
Hot take: Dexter's Lab 1 (scrolling) is perfectly fine in 2v2. The win con just changes from "control center stage" to "control the foreword part of the stage". I think they should make more maps that have different win cons for 2v2 like that
