LOVE this look, Z! My eyes are hazel, but are very cool-toned--mostly dark grey and green--so I was skeptical about so much gold on me. But I tried this look with stuff from my stash (those palettes with a zillion colors you never use are so great for this purpose) and WOW did it make the little patches of brown and the gold flecks POP! How could I ever doubt you? You are a genius! Thanks for inspiring me to try a whole new color-way! Thanks again for sharing your talent with us!

i have a shade of hazel that is almost gold eyes and i use the gold shadow ALL THE TIME. but i like intense so i tend to use black instead of brown. haven't tried the orange blush with it yet but i'm just finally starting to use blush so i must experiment! but for my gold i actually use an avon gel liner. work the same as a cream shadow. but i have the concealer you used and yes i know at first its hard to use but if you warm it up on the skin of you hand a bit it applies better at least for me.

I have that Wet n Wild cover stick as well , and had the same issue with it. MAC's Amber Lights would be a great one to use in place of the gold here and you could pair it up with Wedge in the crease and something like Mystery in place of the L'Oreal eyeshadow. ;)

You look so beautiful in Pink Z, you really looked stunning today. I also am happy you have at least one of the Miliani shadows. I got six of them at Walgreens a week ago, and I absolutely love them. I would love to know if you have more of them, and if you would use them in tutorials.
They are just the best drug store shadows I have tried, and that's a fact. Next to some of the Revlon ones. But those are hit and miss as far as the singles go. But anyway, You look great and I love the look. -AnnaNicole

Omg I have been driving all over the state of Ohio looking for these shadows they are nowhere :( however the Milani display in a couple cvs s are sad and empty so praying that r coming in stock soon :) Z this is gorge love the look:-) perfect !!!

Can u do a video on different colored contact lenses and how to use them/ where to buy them/ and what brands to go for? I'm getting married and want to use colored contacts for my big day but I don't know where to start.Thanks a lot
Hi there! I highly recommend setting up an appointment with your eye doctor to get colored contact lenses. There they can show you the different colors, show you how to insert them, take them out and let you try different colors to get the ones you like. I used the Freshlook Colorblends brand through my doctor. I was told to stay away from ordering the colored contacts you can get online through unverified sites as some of those are not FDA approved and can damage your eyes. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to precious peepers! I hope some of this helps and congratulations to you by the way! :) xoxo!

Ahhhh!!!! That lip color-combo looks absolutely STUNNING on you!!! I can't (well, prefer not to) wear bold or bright lips on myself because it looks so odd to me...I've always stuck to various nude/neutral lips, so I think the "change" of a bright and/or bold color on myself just looks so "out of place", haha. But YOU definitely pull it off SOOOOO WELL!!! Gorgeous!!! Oh, and one more thing...is there any way I can talk you into doing some more UD NAKED 3 palette tutorials? I have all 3 of the Naked palettes, as well as the Naked Basics...and I definitely LOVE ALL OF THEM...but the NAKED 3 is the ONLY one of these palettes where I'm struggling with creating new looks. The colors are gorgeous, for sure...but I've been sticking to the same couple looks (neutral, of course) because I can't seem to come up with any other combos where the colors look like they actually "work" together. I definitely have caught your Naked 3 combos that were mentioned toward the beginning of this year (I rock the "Strange", "Factory", and "Trick" combo most out of them all, lol). I'm all over your videos like a fat kid on a Twinkie, lol!!! I love the way you put Trick in the crease, which I wouldn't have tried on my own because I have slightly hooded eyes (I'm only 29, but it's those damn genetics...THANKS MOM!!!)😉. I usually stick to a matte shade for my crease, like Liar or Nooner, when I'm using this palette because of my hooded eyes...so you definitely have given me more options for it😊!!! Also, while I'm being demanding and since I know you have nothing better to do with your free time than to complete my personal requests (haha!)....do you have any ideas for looks with the TooFaced Boudoir Eyes palette? Well they are absolutely beautiful!!! What is your natural eye color? I had colored contacts years ago(like 15-20 years), but they never looked that gorgeous on me!!!! My eyes are naturally brown. But not dark.
Thank you! They are naturally a turquoise-blue :D They offer so many beautiful colors now; I think you should try them again, if you're considering it! :) They have contacts now that can also lighten or darken your existing eye color!

Somebody got some gorgeous highlights :D I tried a milani eyeshadow once, it just didn't have the pigmentation I wanted so I ended up giving it away to a friend. (I just have to have my mac shadows) eep! OOOOOOO Zabrenaaaaa have you seen the new Nars dual intensity shadows?! To die for!!!
I haven't seen those! I'm going to Sephora tomorrow though so will make it a point to check them out! I love my MAC eyeshadows, too but these drugstore brands are realllllly upping their quality, I am more impressed the more I try! XOXO!!

In one video he brought a date back and he watches it's so funny she takes off her wig then her eyelashes then Her color contacts and he's like what the hell who are you!! What are hazel eyes? My mother called hers hazel, they were green or blue. I thought hazel was a brown with green.

Mine are also blue/green but probably more green than blue. My one is is actually blue on one half of the iris and green on the other. Crazy!! But I have always used purples/plums/maroons on my eyes, they seem to make the color pop the best.
Ok i know many women watching and reading these comments will want to cyber punch me (ow) but im not a drug store kind of makeup shopper... while i loved the drug store eye makeup, the rest just looked kind of eh... even the brushes left a few hairs on your face (which i hate) There are just some things worth buying high end completely. I never do drug store foundations or concealers and the only one i ever found slightly (and i mean slightly) comparable to high end was L'Oreal True match super blendable foundation.... although it doesnt last very long like high end. I think anyone whos going to commit to doing thei makeup everyday (even on a budget) should do a mix of high and low end cosmetics... other wise youre just throwing money away. I luvs ya Z! Also i wanted to tell you i made a small donation to a local animal rescue in Thomasina's name
I completely agree with you. My skin just doesn't get along with drugstore face products.
unfortunately, i learned that the hard way... ie patchy, flaky coverage. foundation is something you use every day whereas you can use different eyeshadow colours each day. buying high end 1-2 foundations throughout different seasons is a great investment.
Eden, i gave my opinion on the products and the looks. I wasnt being snobby or unkind to those who like drug store as opposed to high end...Im a long time fan of Z and trust her judgement and opinion on products.. However, you are the one being snobby and unkind... its nice you are passionate about what YOU like but i dont agree with you... No need to be a bitch about it. If you think low end makeup is good for you FABULOUS... for me other brands work best on my skin like MUFE, MAC and Chanel but im never opposed to L'Oreal or wet n wild if i like it..... Ive spent plenty of money on high and low brands that have sucked but i found more high end brands makeup is superior.... this is MY opinion and if you dont like it ..well basically...tough sh*t...Your need to be a jerk about it says more about you than the makeup...
I'm just sharing my thoughts on here. I've tried my share of products and found what works for me. Not everyone's skin is the same and mine is certainly very hard to work with. I've used L'Oreal True Match but it didn't work for me, I'm not saying it's a bad foundation but not well suited for me. Whatever you use is your choice, if you like it, that's great. Others might just have a different experience with it.

4:11--SO irritating! But nothing's worse than sneezing behind the wheel in heavy traffic. You cannot sneeze with your eyes open! It's impossible! This video is making me want to give gold eyeshadow a second chance, check out the new Milani singles, and pair a golden-brown eye look with a fuchsia blouse--inspiration (and exclamation points) out the everything! :D
