I have this pit, bought last year and lots of campers asking about it. Was able to have a good warm, containable and good fire on a cold night I haven't used it that much, so no deterioration yet
Ha ha 2/5 nice vid mate! I've got one of these and made a couple of supports out of small ally angle L pieces by notching out the ends and the middle so they lock together and form an X shape. Works a treat I also have a snow peak style foldable out which I use more because it's just quicker and easier and stronger
I have the same issue going through the mesh. However, I found it's supported better if you put the side walls on first. Put them on one at a time on opposing sides instead of putting them on in a circle motion. Then put the mesh on top. The fencing wire though is a great idea which I may adopt for mine. 👍
