2:16 As I know that in Chapter 1, we’ve mentioned that English word in French would be masculine. But in here, “gym” in French would be feminine. Is it because it is a original French/Latin word or is it an exception?

We are taught that 'I'm sorry' is translated as 'je suis désolé' but in film after film (and several times throughout the series 'Dix pour cent') I keep HEARing something like 'je désolé' or' j'ai désolé': what are they ACTUALLY saying and is the 'suis' normally/frequently dropped in spoken or 'street' French in this phrase? I don't think it's just me as I've found several other people asking the same question when I google it - but all those replying just seem to deny that it's happening. Please enlighten me.
I think they just speak very fast, but it could be that some people drop it too as a way to make it a type of slang. When I speak fast for example I say "chui désolée". I will check the show to see how they say it :)

Toutes mes leçons et mes livre sont basés à partir de l'anglais. D'ailleurs je n'ai jamais enseigné en français. Il y a beaucoup de chaînes qui enseignent en français seulement. Je suis certaine que tu peux trouver chaussure à ton pied :)
