Your vids are partially why I bought my alpine white 435 and in about a year or 2 I was thinking of upgrading to a B58 Supra, so I was really looking forward to this series. Hopefully everything works out
Keep it man I went through the same process with my old car and NY rebuilt inspection is pretty much same as nj with couple other stuff once you have receipts of everything fixed from the previous owner it’s a smooth process only tedious part is just how long it takes but there are ways to speed up the process, but for future purposes it’s wayyy better to buy a rebuilt car that has rebuilt title in the state you’re registering it in because that way all you need to register it because it already passed inspection in that state.
Also I think it would be very helpful content to make for people out here trying to do the same thing because for me there were no UA-cam videos on how the whole process works so I think documenting everything would help a lot of people even though it’s really tedious but that’s just my opinion.
Great idea that I’m cos during long term for my cars but right now the legal fees and logistics are just not worth it. But def gotta do something like that in the future!
dang srry bout the situation bruh, another thought is what if you registered the car in NJ (or would you need to be a legal resident there?) not too sure bout the laws but if its possible maybe it'll be cheaper to do so in NJ than it would be in NY?
wow was there a lack of disclosure to you or you were blind sighted? can you even sell it? this is a good learning curve for some New Yorkers with all these fine prints when buying cars outside NY. this is good opportunity for you to create a cheatsheet for this scenario :)
@@raldyjimenez3319 to be fair, it’s not the previous owners fault. The car was registered and totally fine in NJ. It’s when I tried to register it in NY so he wouldn’t have even known. And if I can sell it is a whole other issue… something I’m still looking into :/
Or get a NJ po box and register the car there better yet use Montana ike all the super car guys do to save on registration. Its legal and all you have to do is prove you own a business (.0000001% of the business) or have residence (PO Box) duh.
@@SpiritTracks95 I explained it in the video but basically I can’t register the car without going through this long and un-guaranteed process. If it even does go smoothly, it’ll take 3 months. That means I’m limited on the content I can make about this car since I can’t drive it on the roads and the reason I’m able to afford these cars is because I make money from making content. So in a way, I can’t afford to keep this car… Unless I can find some other way to justify it
@@SpiritTracks95 yeah I honestly fell so in love with this car… It’s gonna be hard to let it go. Maybe I get a clean title one in NY but that’s like 48k at least 😅
@@ayyyman_ maybe find a mild-crashed one in your area and rebuild it? Ofc no frame damage would be the ideal and swap a few panels and plastics. Should be a cheap way to make a project car like this! Just a thought!
If you think we should still push through with the Supra, please drop this video a 👍! If not, it’s probably just not worth it and I’ll just sell it 😞

It’s a good content car man
It’s be cool to watch the process
Yeah if nothing else, it’ll make for a good story!
Why not register in a no inspection state like Montana under an LLC? Unsure about their rebuilt registration process though

I would keep it for sure, but if you decide not to I would like to see another Supra replace it!
Yeah honestly if I have to sell this one, I NEED another Supra haha
Couldn’t tell if you did or not but please be safe and use Jack Stands. Be safe so you can continue the great work!🙏🏾
@@fabricecadet9109 thank you :) and yes I did. I put one near the jack and also underneath the lower control arm to be extra safe
Keep going man it will be worth it don't give up. I know roadbumps keep happening but it will be worth it in the end
I appreciate the positivity! 💪🏼 I really do love this car but I just gotta make sure it makes sense
How much do you want for it ?
I like these vids, man is consistent

KEEP ITTTT
Say the car was gifted to you that way you can avoid the sales tax, then continue with the process of registering the car.

Keep the car!!
Keep it
Get rid of it and get a b48 supra or new g20!
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
What a day😅
@@Xplict definitely not how I expected it to go 😅😂
Get g20 330i or b48 Supra
