In addition to that, if you are able to fulfill responsibilities, fulfill your obligations and duties, put aside your selfish desires, put aside your own goals and motives, you have consideration for God's will, and you put the interests and of His household, then after experiencing it for a while, you will feel that this lifestyle is good. It is LIVING FRANKLY and HONESTLY, WITHOUT BECOMING a MEAN and USELESS PERSON, and LIVING JUSTLY and HONORABLY RATHER than BEING NARROW-MINDED or SAVAGE. You FEEL this is HOW a PERSON SHOULD LIVE and ACT. ☀️ GRADUALLY, the DESIRE in YOUR HEART to SATISFY YOUR OWN INTERESTS WILL BE REDUCED. The church is the body of Christ. The pump ❤ must be the first thing we must restore before we even begin to start on reconciliation. Acts 28:27 describes it so beautifully. We need Holy SPIRIT to circumcise the hardened hearts for then the spritual ears and eyes come into LIGHT. Then revival will breakforth.

I agree with Francis Chan's understanding of the NT. They will know we are Christians by our love - by the way we love one another. But do we? I returned to church 9 months ago after a 22 year absence. I was not loved before and am still not loved. But where else can I go? I have love to give, but no one wants it. So i am doing this experiment to see what happens. Is God causing all things to work together for good for me and the people in my home group and bible study? Maybe...
"Do not grow weary in doing good". Everyone is hurting ... just some more than others. Hurting people aren't usually giving and ministering very well, so don't be discouraged. "To have friends, one must show oneself friendly"... smiles are contagious... stay positive but deal with the crap your given and get back to being positive.
But you are loved! By God 😍 Many come to church needing something from the people there that only God can give us in the purest form. When we learn to live in communion with Him... our only concern becomes distributing (believe that they are receiving on some level, that's faith), not consuming... because we live with the revelation that everything we need in this life is found in Him. Amen, when we put God First things start to Really happen. i had to put all My Needs aside and become last and start loving on the UnLovable first. He Loves us and we love ourselves but we must take first steps to loving others w out expectations. Always Remember what Jesus said in John 15 Who are we seeking LOVE from, God's people or the world's? Just wanted to share this with you and hope it inspires you in some way 🙏🏽 Honesty I didn’t write this the Holy Spirit did through me 😂🙏🏽🙌🏽 My testimony how I found God when I stopped going to church. ⛪️ Some of us are meant to be alone with God, to know Him and be taught by Him and Him alone. Not to rely on a pastor, to be taught by God himself! Don’t get me wrong, nothing better than finding a good spirit filled church, but they are growing fewer and fewer in these end times. The enemies attacks on the body of Christ are stronger now more than ever! Only the strong in Christ are going to be left standing against the plans of the enemy to destroy every last Christian! The closer I get to God, the more I’ve had to unlearn what I’ve been taught in church! God wants to teach you the Bible Himself, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance to tell you what His word means for you! To show you the plans He has for your life. We are all handmade by God for a specific purpose and He wants to teach you Himself what that purpose is! So that you may walk and live in the fullness of your God-given purpose and specific design planned and made just for you. That no one else created can do, but you! 📖 It’s about fully surrendering and giving your will to the Lord. Die of yourself, your flesh and this world. Live only for God and his will and purpose for your life. We are not made whole in this life if we are not living out the purpose we are specifically made for by God to do.🙇🏻♀️ You can go to church your whole life and still find yourself locked out of the gates of heaven. To stay on the narrow path that leads to the gates, you have to deny yourself, pick up your cross, never looking right nor left nor behind only straightforward. KEEPING YOUR EYES ON JESUS! ✝️ He is looking for people after his own heart, like David! 😁as I prepare sort of a battle plan against a member of church I attend, your reply came before my eyes! Thank you God and Holy Spirit! ...I could not have planned this... I just opened up my laptop to go to Google Docs to outline a number of questions I have for a "sister in Christ". Last night I sat on our porch in East Texas watching a thunder storm. I had been listening to soakstream on UA-cam (I recommend it for Christian insomniacs). That subscription has choices of what type of SCRIPTURES you want to hear as you try to go to sleep. There's been a nagging sense of need for closure regarding a woman who attends the bible study I go to. A study totally researched by another woman giving healthy Christian information on different books of the bible (yeah rah). anyway a bible verse came to mind of how the bible instructs to handle conflict with people within the church. I am referencing Matthew 10:13- 16. I have tried at least times and she does not respond - even with asking for forgiveness. so today I contacted 2 Christians in the church regarding how I beleive I'm being led... through this verse... nothing to do with me. I received good biblical counsel with caution to "prayer up" before talking to her. Sad. But I was given the "go ahead" to proceed this Wednesday after the next bible study. I asked 2 women from study to stay after with me... as it says in Matthew to hear what I have to say... and her response. Kinda like jury members no? I just want closure. I think one of us... who knows maybe both us... needs to be convicted. Actually since Easter the Lord has been leading me back to re-engage with Compassion International.
I hope & pray I won't be led to leave the church. But if I am so be it. This is so petty a conflict in the eyes of God. I am certain through biblical meditation & reflection that He made me to be just who I am... FULLY KNOWING I would need Him to follow His plan for my life. Simply put... I am a child of God led to support missions and have a heart 💞for children. I have been through many events which can provide actual proof of this fact. I would have to say I lean towards being a conservative fundamentalist in my theology , many of my brethren have had a lot to say ( negatively) about Francis Chan …but there’s something about him that I find compelling

I have been wondering if we are "doing church" the right way. It seems like we've lost something since the first century. The five-fold ministry is to equipment the saints to do the work of ministry yet is seems like they are doing most of the work and the congregation is OK with that. At least in the West, it seems that way.

People who have been doing Church "Mans Way" for decades and decades; need to repent for their rebellion; idolatry and pride ... not become so called leaders regarding that which they do not yet know. I am thankful that there is evident repentance; however planting home churches for over 40 years "the Lords way" gives me considerably more insight as to how to let the Lord build His own house. The problem I have seen is it takes little time to leave the harlot and unfaithful systems with their errant assembly machinations; but it takes considerably longer to get the "harlot" out of people. Hence these often just bring the Harlot Church into the Home assembly. I am grateful for the mass migration to NT Church but have seen few who understand its operation. Revelatory excitement does not equal Oil nor true equipping.
Man is NOTORIOUS for "overriding" Christ and the order that HE has ALREADY established. When Christ said "upon This Rock, I will build My church", He was referring to building the lives of people and that HE would be the strong foundation upon which we would be built. Absolutely! Church leaders love to twist all kinds of words to suit them. Church as a building? Tithing from income? First fruits is the same as tithing? Worship as singing and service? So many things obfuscated and corrupted from the Greek and Hebrew to fit the needs of a priesthood that wants to maintain its elevated status. I'm a 61 year old guy from Nelson, BC Canada, who has always been inspired by Francis Chan...BUT my heart lept when Peter talked about how "the church has always been his calling"; for she's been my calling as well. As I continued to listen, I couldn't help by smile, watching and listening to Peter, for as an older saint, it THRILLS my heart to see a youngster like Peter speak and share about "his calling"...I feel so good knowing that our Father is raising up another generation of solid lovers of the church...the Bride is indeed being made ready.

The church is the body of Christ. The pump ❤ must be the first thing we must restore before we even begin to start on reconciliation. Acts 28:27 describes it so beautifully. We need Holy SPIRIT to circumcise the hardened hearts for then the spritual ears and eyes come into LIGHT. Then revival will breakforth.

I agree with Francis Chan's understanding of the NT. They will know we are Christians by our love - by the way we love one another. But do we? I returned to church 9 months ago after a 22 year absence. I was not loved before and am still not loved. But where else can I go? I have love to give, but no one wants it. So i am doing this experiment to see what happens. Is God causing all things to work together for good for me and the people in my home group and bible study? Maybe...
"Do not grow weary in doing good". Everyone is hurting ... just some more than others. Hurting people aren't usually giving and ministering very well, so don't be discouraged. "To have friends, one must show oneself friendly"... smiles are contagious... stay positive but deal with the crap your given and get back to being positive.

Many come to church needing something from the people there that only God can give us in the purest form. When we learn to live in communion with Him... our only concern becomes distributing (believe that they are receiving on some level, that's faith), not consuming... because we live with the revelation that everything we need in this life is found in Him. Don’t get me wrong, nothing better than finding a good spirit filled church, but they are growing fewer and fewer in these end times. The enemies attacks on the body of Christ are stronger now more than ever! Only the strong in Christ are going to be left standing against the plans of the enemy to destroy every last Christian! The closer I get to God, the more I’ve had to unlearn what I’ve been taught in church! God wants to teach you the Bible Himself, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance to tell you what His word means for you! To show you the plans He has for your life. We are all handmade by God for a specific purpose and He wants to teach you Himself what that purpose is! So that you may walk and live in the fullness of your God-given purpose and specific design planned and made just for you. That no one else created can do, but you! 📖
It’s about fully surrendering and giving your will to the Lord. Die of yourself, your flesh and this world. Live only for God and his will and purpose for your life. We are not made whole in this life if we are not living out the purpose we are specifically made for by God to do.🙇🏻♀️
You can go to church your whole life and still find yourself locked out of the gates of heaven. To stay on the narrow path that leads to the gates, you have to deny yourself, pick up your cross, never looking right nor left nor behind only straightforward. KEEPING YOUR EYES ON JESUS! ✝️

😁as I prepare sort of a battle plan against a member of church I attend, your reply came before my eyes! Thank you God and Holy Spirit! ...I could not have planned this... I just opened up my laptop to go to Google Docs to outline a number of questions I have for a "sister in Christ". Last night I sat on our porch in East Texas watching a thunder storm. I had been listening to soakstream on UA-cam (I recommend it for Christian insomniacs). That subscription has choices of what type of SCRIPTURES you want to hear as you try to go to sleep. There's been a nagging sense of need for closure regarding a woman who attends the bible study I go to. A study totally researched by another woman giving healthy Christian information on different books of the bible (yeah rah).
anyway a bible verse came to mind of how the bible instructs to handle conflict with people within the church. I am referencing Matthew 10:13- 16. I have tried at least times and she does not respond - even with asking for forgiveness. so today I contacted 2 Christians in the church regarding how I beleive I'm being led... through this verse... nothing to do with me. I received good biblical counsel with caution to "prayer up" before talking to her. Sad. But I was given the "go ahead" to proceed this Wednesday after the next bible study. I asked 2 women from study to stay after with me... as it says in Matthew to hear what I have to say... and her response. Kinda like jury members no?
I just want closure. I think one of us... who knows maybe both us... needs to be convicted.
Actually since Easter the Lord has been leading me back to re-engage with Compassion International.
I hope & pray I won't be led to leave the church. But if I am so be it. This is so petty a conflict in the eyes of God. I am certain through biblical meditation & reflection that He made me to be just who I am... FULLY KNOWING I would need Him to follow His plan for my life. Simply put... I am a child of God led to support missions and have a heart 💞for children. I have been through many events which can provide actual proof of this fact.

I have been wondering if we are "doing church" the right way. It seems like we've lost something since the first century. The five-fold ministry is to equipment the saints to do the work of ministry yet is seems like they are doing most of the work and the congregation is OK with that. At least in the West, it seems that way.

People who have been doing Church "Mans Way" for decades and decades; need to repent for their rebellion; idolatry and pride ... not become so called leaders regarding that which they do not yet know. I am thankful that there is evident repentance; however planting home churches for over 40 years "the Lords way" gives me considerably more insight as to how to let the Lord build His own house. The problem I have seen is it takes little time to leave the harlot and unfaithful systems with their errant assembly machinations; but it takes considerably longer to get the "harlot" out of people. Hence these often just bring the Harlot Church into the Home assembly. I am grateful for the mass migration to NT Church but have seen few who understand its operation. Revelatory excitement does not equal Oil nor true equipping.

Man is NOTORIOUS for "overriding" Christ and the order that HE has ALREADY established. When Christ said "upon This Rock, I will build My church", He was referring to building the lives of people and that HE would be the strong foundation upon which we would be built. In stark contrast, MAN, "leaning to his own understanding", decided to get actual building materials, and began to, with his own hands, build buildings and called them "churches". GOD'S WAYS AND THOUGHTS ARE NOT OURS; THEY ARE "HIGHER" EVEN AS THE HEAVENS ARE HIGHER THAN THE EARTH (ISAIAH 55:8-9).
Absolutely! Church leaders love to twist all kinds of words to suit them. Church as a building? Tithing from income? First fruits is the same as tithing? Worship as singing and service? So many things obfuscated and corrupted from the Greek and Hebrew to fit the needs of a priesthood that wants to maintain its elevated status. I have a book published but I am in the middle of an edit. It seeks to clarify the equal and individual Christian priesthood.

It's definitely time for a paradigm change. I wrote a book proclaiming that exact thing. And I have had the same thought about sitting and listening to someone else teaching ‐ where is that my job as a Christian? Taking part in a conversation is fine - but listening to a pastor or priest?
