I've subbed to your channel and Im using your videos to study the Book of Psalms. I must say, I feel like I've been given a new prescription for glasses,🤓 and my brain has been rewired because I can understand the Word more easily now after listening to you. I'm excited! Thank you. God Bless.
Thank you, brother. Please provide more information, specifically about leaving a church with an eldership to start a house church that does not have elders.
Thank you, Mike! You have taught me so much! I feel like I never truly "got" what was being taught in the bible or the life of Jesus Christ until you taught it to me. Now I can truly call myself a Christian because I am able to understand God's word and Jesus' message. So thank you for your teachings. Your videos always pop up so divinely for what I need in that moment. Today I am doing my first bible group study in my home. How perfect is this video?! I hope I'm not being too forward, but.. Are YOU okay? How are you?
Thanks for reaching out and your kind comments. As to my health, I have had some serious issues this year (I guess it shows by my weight loss etc.) but these have been resolved and I'm feeling better. I appreciate you asking. God bless. MM
@@mikemazzalongo8705 Thank God! I was praying for you. I'm happy to hear God has blessed you with healing. I am so grateful to hear that and I am so grateful for you and your bibletalks. You've helped me reconnect to Christ and I feel the holy spirit when I listen to your lessons. God Bless you and your family.
The churches that met in private homes mentioned in the New Testament, to which the Epistles were written were established by the apostles and had appointed presbyters. Ignatius of Antioch describes the roles of bishops, presbyters and deacons in the New Testament church. He also reminds his readers that without the bishop there is no Eucharist. House gatherings are good and helpful to those involved and in evangelism but they are not independent of the church. There was no church, from the time of the apostles until 1500's, that was not under the authority of the local bishop. We also know from the Didache that the church in the apostles' day fasted on Wednesday and Fridays, prayed the Lord's Prayer three times a day, as well as observe the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist.
Starting a church is no problem. You don't need to do anything for that. Now if you want to get government benefits like tax exemptions then you file the proper paperwork for that. Generally, that requires at least 3 people who are on the board. Such as a preacher, a note taker (takes minutes of the meeting), a secretary, etc. I don't know all the rules but you can find them online or else just asking your state and federal people like IRS, etc. They will tell you what you need to get tax exemption and the forms to fill out. Also, if you are wanting to do public service type events such as weddings and funerals, these involve legal documents and you need to find out from your state or county what is required from you.
Can you please explain ppl in that new wine is what we call grape juice and it is not sacrilegious to use grape juice as the wine for the bread and wine sacrament/ communion?
That wasn't the question. A church "sends" out someone to start a church... then that church starts and sends someone out... and so on. That is how the new testament churches started...
You do not need one person preaching! The New Testament church says all come with a word, a psalm a teaching a prophesy .? And to do this in an orderly manner..
Great video! Thanks. Gets to the heart of true, first century nondenominational Christianity.
Amen brother! I want to start a house church!!

Thank you Brother Mike. Can a christian lady start a house church?
Of course you can.
Can you please explain ppl in that new wine is what we call grape juice and it is not sacrilegious to use grape juice as the wine for the bread and wine sacrament/ communion?
Gida word said family is the church
All churches started at home in the kitchen and living room
Matt Dabbs is a house church planter. He has a you tube channel. You may find his content helpful.
That wasn't the question.
A church "sends" out someone to start a church... then that church starts and sends someone out... and so on.
That is how the new testament churches started...
I'm the 66th thumbs up, oh no! 😅

Saying ANYONE can start a house church sounds very reckless. To whom will the starter of a house church be accountable?
Independent Baptist pastors are not accountable to anyone
