I just put one on my RS3 mine is slightly diff. I used heat gun to take off the adhesive.Looks great .Wait til you go stage 2 !I used Gorilla tape on mine,they make really good 2 sided tape.
Watching you trying to fit it was painful . Next time align the lip on the car . No tape then trace it with a dry erase marker then tape it and it aligns perfect
Use real glue for the spoiler so the fitment will be better. That 3m stuff is ok, but if you want to go fast , i wouldn't trust that tape to hold the spoiler on the car. I just fittet mine with 3m tape to get it registratet in my car documents (living in switzerland) and now after the registration is done i'm going to put on glue which is used for windshields. Holds the best and is "elastic" which is good for this type of parts and then you can go fast without risking it to fall off. Anyways nice video. Watched it and got me to the decission to use the same spoiler like you. Fits the best for this car, stylewise.
I would personally prefer a smaller lip for the spoiler. Fits in better with the car. Also a tiny little grievance, but the spoiler should be a little longer in length so that the edge touches the edge of the trunk.

I like the spoiler. I wish someone would come up with a retractable wing. The entire trunk lid would have to change and maybe with the option of a different style tail lights. I’m pretty sure some one could do it as a project.
Sorry not digging it. I think it actually makes the car look taller not wider. Also, when installing, it's a good idea to only remove a bit of the liner on each side and then rip it off once aligned

It’s called a ceramic coating. It’s pretty expensive, but they make another kind that you spray on and immediately rinse off. it’s like, $20.
