I knew they wrote songs for other artists but I had no idea they wrote Islands in the Stream, made famous by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. They still amaze me after all these years.
They also wrote the song Grease for the movie. Something I found amazing is they wrote Too Much Heaven, Tragedy and Shadow Dancing recorded by their brother Andy Gibb all on the same day and all were number one hits .
Heartbreaker was recorded by Dionne Warwick--she didn't like it that much--Robin Gibb said they knew it would be a hit & convinced her. The Gibbs wrote Immortality specifically for Celine Dion. You can watch the video of them performing it with her. They wrote for Diana Ross and a whole album, Guilty, for Barbra Streisand--highly recommend watching Barry performing two duets live with Streisand, Guilty & What Kind Of Fool, their voices work well together. RIP Andy, Maurice & Robin, carry on Sir Barry.❤❤❤❤

Yep, Barry wrote the song Grease! And I'd be willing to bet he was the primary writer of those three #1 songs as well!
