Big tip for the Mario Kart ride. Look up the achievements for the hidden blocks. It tells you were to look and they are repeatable. 45 coins each and 6 blocks on the ride. That’s 270 bonus coins

In my mind, it is a Closed case. Where Disney failed With Star Wars land, Universal successfully implemented interactivity into a fun and amazing land with Super Mario World. Universal has the interactive characters, interactive effects on walls with the magic band style watches. They have the food as well as the desire for you to visit multiple times unlike Star Wars land
Yup, they beat Disney at the game in my opinion. This experience is more than just a ride, your living in a giant video game and it’s rewarding and fun to interact with it.
Out of everyone’s videos, this has to be the most detailed and fun video to watch!

Also I found the Pikmin sticker! It’s in the AR goggles! I screamed loud when I found it! The AR goggles themselves are a bit hidden which I like. Also like how u have to get 3 keys to play the awesome bowser jr game. Which has a ton of achievements built in! Love this land!

Idk there was pikmin in Universal Studios Hollywood I thought they weren’t going to be in Hollywood just Japan but cool I love that they added the pikmin in Hollywood
Yeah they are visible through the binoculars and super hard to find. Hopefully next time I can find them.
I don't think it'll be an efficient way to rack up coins compared to the stamps, but I believe the blocks currently reset after about 30 seconds or so if you want to constantly hit blocks all day!
Thanks for the high-score tips! Didn't realize there were repeatable achievements, so I'm definitely gonna look out for those when I go!
The blocks do help for sure but you’ll get more coins repeating the games. What we ended up doing was completing a game, going around the corner to hit a block then get back in line for the game. That way you can get the bonus achievements as well.
The hitting blocks all day challenge will take you ages. We did the research you get 10 randomly and people coming up to hit blocks resets them. Mini games and achievements best way

I was there today and it was pretty busy in the land so I was curious about the same thing. But I gotta say the longest we waited for a game was like 5/7 minutes.

I got the stamp for hitting every question block in one day yesterday but still haven’t gotten the stamp for hitting every block in Super Nintendo World. I hit all the brick and POW blocks by the question ones plus the Bowser Jr block. I went into the room by the 8-bit Princess, upstairs by the snowy blocks and binoculars, and did all of the blocks on the ground level out in the open. Are they any blocks in the Mario Kart queue or anywhere else I’m missing? I’ve done the Mario Kart ride three times on three separate trips but only the standby line once skipping most of the extended queue before entering the Bowser castle and used the single rider line the other two times.

That’s a lot, the best advise is to have the Universal Studios app downloaded. Once you link your band you’ll be able to see the stamps and how to get them.

This is one of both Universal and Nintendo greatest achievements. I wonder if PlayStation (Sony) or Xbox (Microsoft) ever gonna follow this idea?
Maybe, they could team up with a park but it’s going to be interesting to see who they would even work with.
Universal sure did score with the Nintendo right though.
You need a reservation to enter Super Mario Land. Is there a time limit to stay? Or is it once you're in, you're in?
On busy days yes, you’ll need a reservation. As of right now the experience wasn’t timed. But things can change.
For some reason, I never got a stamp for looking through the binoculars.
Hmmm interesting. Maybe the system will update overtime.
I got a stamp for using the binoculars and for finding the airship but never one for finding the Pikmin and I tried it in both my June and September visits. Funny thing is you can see the Pikmin without the binoculars as it’s really close by unless there’s another set of Pikmin I have to find through the binoculars.

Got all the power blocks but didn’t get the all power block stamp.
Sometimes it takes a minute to register. I ended up getting mine the next day.
So is the soft opening pretty much every day? I know it's not guaranteed but I live two blocks away so I'm wondering if I have a chance to see it if I stop by on Tuesday. And do I have to get there early in the morning or can I arrive mid-day?
Try in the morning when the park opens because they have been doing tech rehearsals a lot. You might have some good luck in the mornings. 😁

Well, I finished #7 of the day (I was #6 but Antoine must have been in line for Mario Kart because he went up 45 min after park close) but that Thwomp Challenge on difficulty was impossible by myself.
Oh yeah your best bet solo is. The pow block challenge once you get the timing down it’s easy
@@unrooolie I saw you on the leaderboard when I was there and might have been next to you during Bowser Jr once. I need you to help me next time I'm there! I remember your tip in this video of when to hit the POW Block but I didn't realize it was for "difficulty mode" only. So I was confused when to punch. Especially since there's a delay between when you hit and when it activates. I don't know if I'm supposed to hit it right before it goes in the pipe or if that's when it's supposed to register that you hit. Help me, unrooolie!
The Thwomp challenge is so hard by yourself even on easy so that’s why if you can it’s great to play with an additional person.
Question: Do you have to buy the wristband in krder to truly experience Super Mario Land, or is there a way around it?
If you don’t have a wrist band you can still punch the blocks and they will make sounds. But you won’t be able to play the mini games
It’s worth the purchase for sure. You can still have fun running around but in order to play the games you need the band.
@unrooolie do you need the band to get into Bowsers castle? Or are you allowed in without it. Me and the family go maybe 1once of twice or twice a year. Paying $40 a band for a family of 6 adds up for the amount we visit that park that's why im asking. Or will one wristband per family allow us all access.
@Theme Park Obsession I'm sure it's worth the purchase for 1. But I'm talking about if you have a big family. Is the whole family able to use one wristband instead of buying 6 for each family members. Like are we all allowed to go into Bowsers castle as a group or do we all need an individual wristband.6 wristband add up especially since we only visit the park about 1-2 times a year while visiting the area.
@@kevinf003 for a family of 6 that is a steep price maybe get 3 and do teams of 2. I know how hard it is saving up for these trips. They are pretty lenient about how many people actually have the band
One question for riding Mario Kart twice how will it know you ride it 2 times?

Lol one of the stamps for Mario Kart is to NOT finish first in the race. Not repeatable, and worth 25 coins. How do I know this? I may or may not have "earned" it...

Another video I believe would do well, is a comprehensive guide to the Mario Kart Ride.
IE; what exactly does steering do, where to look for your items, tips and tricks. The on ride tutorial was NOT helpful at all.

It’s in tech rehearsals so it will open and close randomly as the park still works on it until the official grand opening in February. But if you go to the park before then you’ll prob have good chances of seeing it.

That’s the official grand opening. The park has it open now for tech rehearsals so it can close at any time.
I wish I was able to visit this place. Hopefully the park they announced for TX eventually expands and adds in Nintendo and Harry Potter worlds

Yup. Disney probably had to cut some budget and the interactive stuff was what they cut. So hopefully Galaxy’s edge gets some more interactivity down the line.

Well the daily score resets every day so that one can be achieved. The all time could be difficult.

I love these guys. I was there for 5 hours Friday. As obsessed as these guys to get every sticker. And more coins. I got great tips from u especially the hard mode on pow blocks. Need to beat that. Also guys single rider line is coming on opening day for kart ride! That will make a lot of rides easier on kart. And there are some really tricky challenges on that one. Like finding hidden block or getting 2000 coins! I love this land. Will be going once a week at least!!
Glad you have been having a great time too, the entire space is so darn fun and incredibly addicting. Universal really knocked it out of the park on this one.
