It’s an absolute blast!
I was there after work and man it was just amazing to see how well detail this land and ride is. There’s so much to do in that little area and makes universal especially the lower lot now a more full day experience. Universal keeps on improving with everything they do. I can’t wait for the next ride they’re developing.
It’s totally a full day experience now with Nintendo. And who knows how the park might expand that in the future.

Universal is killing it with their new additions! I'm shocked it took so long to get a Nintendo-themed area in a theme park, though. Glad it exists finally, though!

Got a GameCube back in the day as a kid and it was my first ever video game console. Now I have a Switch as an adult. This land takes me into the Nintendo video games and I can't wait to experience it someday. Too bad they didn't have enough space for the Yoshi ride or Donkey Kong rollercoaster though because I feel like one more ride would make the land feel complete.

Well what's cool is since Universal now has the rights to build Nintendo attractions, you never know what might be around the corner for Hollywood.

I was there yesterday as well not knowing it was going to be a technical rehearsal day and got to ride the mario kart attraction, which was just complete nostalgia and also 10:36 u think of the bowser portrait and think Nintendo 64. I immediately thought super mario all stars on Super Nintendo because that’s when they first started putting bowser with his arms crossed on portraits on the wall in his castles in mario games
Oh just stepping foot in the land brings back so many memories it’s great.

That Last game is what makes this place so amazing, actually fighting bowser jr like you are in the game.

That looks amazing! I grew up playing Super Mario Land and Wario Land on my Game Boy and playing Mario Kart on a friend's Nintendo. Totally nostalgic! If you're into theme parks you should definitely put De Efteling in The Netherlands on your bucket list. I think it's the best theme park in the universe. 🙂

I have been hearing that rumor as well. Would be a good purchase for the company I think, that way they can gain market share out there and maybe add some new things to the park.

BTW the queue for *Mario Kart* look super long, makes me wonder if it will spilt and create a queue for a possible new attraction 🤞🏼🤞🏼hoping for *Donkey Kong Kountry* (who knows, anything can happen).

Thanks for a great review, I'm glad you had so much fun! Question--it looks like there's one ride you have to collect keys to ride (so you need a power band). If a child has a power band and collects the keys, can their parent ride with them? Or does the parent also need to buy a power band and get the keys to be able to ride with their child?
It’s not a ride but it’s an interactive game. And thankfully at least when I have been there only one person in your party needs the three keys.

Thankfully they are building Epic Universe really fast so the park will be open in no time at all.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD Yeah, I keep up to date on Orlando through Mickey Views and Bioreconstruct. It's crazy seeing how fast Universal is building a whole theme park while it's taken so many years for Disney to build one copycat attraction.

The two portrait paints on either side of the peach's castle in Japan are lenticular, but in Hollywood they are screens.
I think I like the screens better because of the effect they do. Makes it look more like Mario 64.
