Tasty notes! The ebony really pops on this setup, giving a superb contrast. I welcome small, smart and charming guitars. Naturally, it is excellent to see your enthusiasm towards the guitar and it's quirks. You seem to bond quiet well with instruments and see they positive sides. Shows in the playing IMO. Take care Jonathan!
Sir. Please consider doing a review on audio interfaces and software. For the home enthusiast, what features should he/she look for assuming he already has a looper and a current spec'd laptop.
Very smooth clean tone. Most demos I've heard make these pickups sound a bit harsh and peaky, like they're wired for rock only. But they're actually quite smooth sounding with the right settings.
I absolutely love mine!!!!!!!!It’s just a fun guitar to play. Super comfortable, great tone. Great quality. A nice alternative to a Gibson. A simple American made guitar.
Thanks Jon, now when you tell someone "I play a little guitar" you won't be kidding! 😉 I'd also like to hear more on audio interfaces/sw for a basic home studio.
What a quirky and cute little guitar Jon. Gorgeous sound and I love the push pull. It would look hilarious on my big belly but that doesn’t matter 😂😂👍 thanks Jon you always pull a different one out of the bag.
To expensive! Sure the pickups sound nice as many P-90’s do but for almost $1200 I would prefer some higher end guitars and more flexibility on the controls. Nice choice on the demo Johnathan! Enjoyed! Stay safe!🙏🙏🙏
I agree Jon does great reviews with wonderful playing, so do you really think the video deserves a thumbs down because of the guitar's color? Doesn't seem fair to me.
@@dahenjo7633 Goodness, no! I didn't give the thumbs down, I was jokingly suggesting, that's the only possible reason someone could have done it was the color of the guitar.
@@1satisfiedmind Oh very sorry, I thought you were saying that's why you gave it. I can't imagine why either but wish they would say, often it's not something based on the review itself which is bad form.
@@dahenjo7633 no worries! You are right. It's easy to be critical, and give a thumbs down, when a person has never put the effort to put themselves on youtube to share their own passion with the world.
Hi Jonathan, beautiful playing as usual. But not a fan of those tones, and I don't like at all that guitar, too small a body, no tone control, wander about those 3 screws neck joint. For that amount of money, I'd prefer a MIM Strat lacquer finish, with humbucker in bridge position. Is this Harmony brand the same who built guitars played by Muddy Waters in the 50s until he changed for a red Fender Telecaster ?
I can answer your question. Yes and no: predominantly no. Harmony went out of business in the mid ‘70’s. Some entrepreneur bought the brand a few years ago and has revived their products. Except for some of the designs being the same, and the brand/logo, it’s a completely different company.

I'd love to get ahold of a modern set of gold foils made the same way they used to be. Wonder how accurate these are

Is the guitar neck heavy? How is the balance? Great review.

@@Newnodrogbob that is correct✌️❤️
@@Newnodrogbob Harmony is made in the same Factory in Kalamazoo where Heritage guitars are Made. It is also the old Gibson factory.
