This is a guitar I never knew I needed...
This guitar is based off of a 1954 Harmony Stratotone H88 Doublet. I have a reissue of one that also is no longer made. I had mine modified. It has a S style Harmony Gold Foil at the neck but I had a PAF put at the bridge but covered with period correct mid 50's Rickenbacker style toaster pickup cover so not to give my secret away. My guitar thru my Plexi amp can take out the back wall of a club :-)
Great review! I’m suprised at how versatile this guitar is. It sounds great and it looms great! I might look into these more!
Fantastic intro song!
Thanks!
Great playing! So much more interesting than shredding. Guitar looks super cool. Thanks
Thanks a lot!
I have the Jupiter. It’s an amazing guitar
Hi Ivan. So you're the person on the EHX logo. Nice!
These guitars are so cool. I know they are sponsored so I guess it's hard to comment but is the build quality what you would expect from American made guitars>?
Hi! Yes, indeed. Great build quality!
@@LivingroomGearDemos Great to hear! Been eyeing them for a while.
This was a great video. Ty for the review.
Thanks for checking it out!
Do you find the guitar to be neck heavy? How is the balance?
Nice!
I wish they just put those pickups in the full sized singlecut they did 🙄
Any plans to demo the new Fano Omnis series? I've always loved Fanos but could never afford the standard models. Really tempted by the less expensive Omnis.
I've talked to them about it, but never gotten anything confirmed.
@@LivingroomGearDemos So you're telling me there's a chance...
Fingers crossed!
Nice, little guitar, but I didn't quite catch the push-pull knob - by pushing it, you got this terribly muffled tone, which, quite frankly, I found unless - it may be my misunderstanding, but I really didn't get it, what would be the purpose? You should have played extensively using both tonal options. Cheers,
Hey Walter - It's a mud switch! Basically, it's like a tone knob that allows you to make a quick, consistent change in your tone. I believe some of the earlier jazz folks used it while comping and they switch it back up when picking lines. You actually see this knob in some of the earlier Gretsches and Harmony guitars!
I have one of these Junos and I like it...Yeah, if you pull the volume/tone pot up, it engages a tone circuit, which basically sounds like a tone pot with the tone rolled all the way down. When the pot is pulled up, you can still adjust the volume, but the rolled off tone stays the same, it only has one setting. I agree that most folks won't find it a very useful sound for the most part, but if you're a person who doesn't really adjust your tone knob and you like to use an e-bow, it's perfect. E-bows sound best with the tone pot rolled down, so like I said, it's a perfect fit for players who use e-bows and don't use their tone pots otherwise, or for people who like really muffled, murky sounds. :)
play it with a really gnarly fuzz und you will get it. in that case its not mudy anymore, it just takes a little edge off and thats perfect.

Please check the Guttlin Baronet.
yeah love that one!
Intonate’s better than the latest Les Paul Jr I bought. Wasn’t even close. Unplayable and returned. Sweetwater just packs them back up and sends them out to the next unsuspecting fool instead of back to the factory.
Played one of these Juno’s pre-covid and they are fantastic in feel and sound. They might not hold their value but more importantly, they’ll hold their tune up and down the neck. Can you tell I’m bit bitter? Gibson files suit for “existence.”
