OMG, no. It's great to look at but I'm sure I would hate it if I had to live there, I prefer something quite smaller. Maybe if I had a big family, enough people to fill these big old halls with life and laughter, but since I'm happily single and all alone I'd rather have a little cottage.
I have been a huge anglophile all my life and I visited for the first time last year. A dream come true. I really just made up my mind and did it with my daughters encouragement. Her and I had the best trip. Live your dreams. Life is short.
Indeed. Our Great Nation is steeped in rich history & not only in London. Scotland is a Great place to visit with its castles and palace aswell as the people 😀
Watched a documentary by Fiona Bruce on Victoria & Albert and their love story. Was both magical and tragic. Sad though can't find it anymore. Thank you for keeping their memory alive!
i wonder if albert ever thought about all of the work he was creating for their staff when he designed such an elaborate and decorative place. i know he loved to design and it was where they felt most at home as a family. its truly a beautiful estate.
Thank you so much for a wonderful glimpse into Victoria‘s life. I’ll probably never be able to see it I live in the USA and we don’t travel. It is amazing to me to see in such detail The beautiful estate.♥️♥️♥️
This estate is beautiful, it reminds me of my aunt's summer homes. I'd never be able to live in such large homes, I'd never know what to use the rooms for.
I wonder how much the staff who work so hard to keep these Palaces at their best for the visitors are paid . Many do voluntary work. However, I'm intrigued that other members might require a bit more cash in their pockets for all they do.
TheLaydewlf I certainly can , one of my aunts' worked in service before WW 2 . The pittance she was paid would barely cover a postage stamp these days ! Then she became a member of HM forces . She passed away , aged 95 . A really wonderful woman. We have so many unsung heroes and heroines . 🕊
Who pays for all the people working in the Home..?
Fanny Buster English Heritage, from the entrance money. However, a lot of people volunteer, just for the pleasure of working with such lovely things.

On my heavens - could you imagine living in such a magnificent estate?!?! It's glorious!

Yes,I'll have it. I move in next monday.
Much respect for the people taking such great care of our cultural heritage 👍
I have visited this enchanting place many times and I so enjoyed the terrace with its Italian feel.
I wish I could do this for a career. working with history, and seeing it on a level no one else would see. The details of the house.
That’s it. There are too many beautiful things to see in the UK. I dearly hope I can visit someday.

Me to!

I just saw Osborne on PBS show "Victoria". The character Lord Palmerston called it ugly. It's gorgeous.
It’s amazing that they keep it going. Nothing sadder than an old abandoned place!
Wow. Another one I never saw. Well I'm glad I went to the channel! Thankyou EH.🇬🇧✌💕
Winter cleaning instead of Spring cleaning that makes sense to me. You all do a lovely job on keeping the residence looking wonderful.
Thank you very much for keeping this wonderful place, and keeping history alive.
Beautiful! The attention to detail is downright art! Really makes you appreciate all the subtleties of the aesthetics of that time
. *_Splendid video!!_* 👍👍👍
Atlanta in the house!
I’m so excited for the summer as I am going to see Osborne House

Amazing to see how much work goes on behind the scenes.
Man! That Mansion is stunning :)
This is just so incredible and gorgeous... I would love to work here someday....
it's really magnificent, I would love to visit it but I don't travel much.
halil ibrahim I don't travel much either so really happy to see the video
This is fantastic
I didn’t expect to enjoy this video as much as I did. I’d love to see Osborne House in person.
Osborne is beautiful
Its so beautiful and interesting in person especially her beach xx

Oh my god the amount of work
Sencillamente Maravilloso...!!
Lovely! Odd that it looks a different colour. It's a sandy yellow building but looks white here.
Wow! Your house is beautiful.
Can I volunteer to clean the chandelier? That looks so relaxing and meditative to do.
How overwhelming it must be to live in a place like that! This was really interesting
Lovely!
LOVED this!
This is very much a palace. A Victorian Italianate-Indian style.
This estate is beautiful, it reminds me of my aunt's summer homes. I'd never be able to live in such large homes, I'd never know what to use the rooms for.
Fabulous!!
CRISTIAN FELICIDADES GRACIAS
They need team like this at Buckingham. When we toured it, I noticed the candles were dusty and crooked in their holders.
I want to live there so bad
This would have been my favorite
Do the Queen ever visit this place?
How long did it take to build the house?

can you imagine the royal household and gardens staff who worked their while V&A were alive and lived on a pittance?
