@@ColinLeung I have this same scooter and it came to me with a damaged battery please show me a video of how to replace the battery, the manufacturer is taking forever to send me a replacement battery and I really want to buy the replacement, install it and get my scooter up and running
@@coolsweetchic1 Hello, I sold the scooter shortly after the review. You should see a metal plate on the bottom that can be unscrewed. Inside will have the battery with the model number if you want to buy a replacement. Thanks
I bought the GYROOR X8 2 years ago and that is definitely the best scooter they make I have put almost 1200 miles on it and I still get close to 30 miles per charge. It is not a sitting scooter.
Ihave this scooter. Put a spring suspension seat post and better seat. Put some Velcro between back basket at fender. All quiet. Goes 18 mph with my 200 lbs.
I completely second your opinion about foot peg. I bought this about 6 months ago. If riding at high speed or an upward incline, the footpeg tends to collapse causing you to loose stability. Not sure why those foot pegs don't have tensioners to hold them in place. Although i rarely ride it, I hope the battery lasts a while and possibly find a replacement when its time to replace.
I have a very similar one called Phantom GoGo. The biggest single difference is the built-in foot pegs. The basket is in a poor location. I'd remove it. I mounted mine behind the seat on a standard bracket with panniers. Unfortunately, the battery gave out after only 6 months of use. I got one with more amp hours. Flat tires, mostly on the rear have always been an issue and I've replaced both tubes and tires more than once. Doing the rear is a real pain since the wiring limits your access. I like the controls and mini instrument cluster. Mine only has a readout for the battery power level. 4 bars. No speedometer. I highly recommend getting a suspension seatpost. It makes a huge difference in comfort when you're going any real distance. Enjoy riding. Wear a helmet. Happy Trails
Hello David, thanks for the feedback and tips, and sorry to hear that your battery gave out. I assumed you could issue a warranty request if it was within a year of purchase.

I saw a review of this exact model. A test drive got only 10 miles per hour in speed setting #3 so please don't think you are going to get 20 miles range on this scooter. Of course you will get more than 10 miles if you cut the speed setting to 2 or 1, but do understand that this does not guarantee that you will get a 20-mile range. Company testing of scooters are usually with adults who weigh less than 150 pounds, so this is why they get away with saying the scooter has a 20-mile range. Just keep this in mind and you will be fine in choosing a scooter.
Thank you so much for such a thorough review and assembly instructions. The ones provided from the company are horrible. They don't even mention where the charging port is, how long to charge the scooter, how to tell when it is fully charged or even how to install the foot pedals. After watching your video, I input the screws from the wrong side and my father helped me to redo them! I really appreciate your video. As a female, I did not have an easy time trying to figure everything out by myself and when I finally found the charging port, didn't even know if it was charging. I figured there would be a light directly on the scooter. Can you tell me how long it took you to fully charge and would you know why my screen gauge doesn't stay on? Thank you.
Hello, the C1S should be fully charged in 4-5 hours. The led on the power brick should turn from red to green when fully charged. Does the screen turn off after a few minutes? The scooter may automatically turn off after X amount of time.
@@ColinLeung Thanks so much. It probably needed a charge, since I just got it. The screen goes on when the button is pushed now., after its first full charge. 😊
I just got mine and taken it on a few rides- and it is amazingly fun and i love having my dog in the basket with me. However i'm noticing that the battery is pretty bad, on a full charge i may get around 2-3 hours of actual ride time, and on a half charge i was only able to get 20 or so minutes. I'm not that heavy and i dont carry a lot on the scooter. Seems like it needs to be charged to full before every ride. Bummed out that the battery isnt removable or replaceable, so with that major problem I'm not sure if i should keep it.
Hello, thanks for sharing your feedback. I've found that most ebike/scooters provide half of the advertised range. Do you know how far you traveled in the 2-3 hours? The battery may be just an XT60 plug, so you could purchase an extender, and run/swap the battery inside the basket for extended range.
I believe it is physically possible to relocate the throttle to the left side, but the throttle will work twisting it away from you instead of toward you. They may sell a universal left handed throttle that will work better.
The basket design is brilliant, but why not make it completely covered? I really don't want my stuff getting wet. Anyway, that 550W motor just isn't cutting it; maybe it's a low voltage issue with the battery. You might want to check out the Bogist M5 Elite or the latest M5 Pro-s. With a 500W motor, they can reach speeds of up to 28 miles per hour, and they come with a 48V, 13Ah battery pack.
Thanks for the recommendations. I suppose you could add a liner of some sort to prevent your belongings from getting wet. I know they were pushing the pet riding idea, so it might be a way of providing ventilation for your pet.
Try loosening the seat clamp all the way, and rotating the seat post down the tube. It may still be tight and scratch the seat post, but that part will be hidden.
@@ColinLeungthanks 🙏 I used a spray lubricant and it worked wonderfully. I added a front basket with the same material and color from the scooter. Thanks to you and your video I was able to assemble my scooter faster and easily. I am loving my scooter 🛴 so much. 🙏
I’ve ordered this scooter twice from different companies and I have problems. The scooter that I have now is making some sort of noise maybe by the front tire and neither scooter gave me the mileage that was suggested in the manual. Please help! I do like the scooter very much.
Are you able to identify where the noise is coming from? Does the brake pads or disc rub when you lift the front tire and spin it? That would be the most common source. I also responded to your other message stating that you can realistically expect half of the advertised range for real life riding. It's unfortunate, but common.
Help, I messed with the p settings can you send me your codes. To get to the p settings you turn off then turn on holding the mode button. Then p0 - p16
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I sold the scooter shortly after posting this video to empty space in my garage. Have you tried contacting the manufacture? Perhaps someone else here can share their codes.
Back lamp. I put my bag down and the flashlight is not visible. The package covers the rear light. The lantern needs to be hung on the bottom near the basket.
Good observation. It looks like you're able to unscrew the tail light, but the cable may be too short. The wires can be extended with wiring, but is not a simple task for non DIYers.
I just bought one & I'll be returning it asap. The reason I'm returning it is at the 3:45 time stamp of this video. My handlebar bracket won't tighten up.
Or the Gotrax Campus Pro? They're about the same in performance. The C1S has a center basket, but I think Gotrax is more known and will have better aftermarket support.
On the first scooter I only got 9 or 10 miles, not 20 as stated in the manual and the second scooter I got 11 miles. Do I need to send the scooter back? I am unhappy about the mileage!
Hello June, that decision would be up to you. I've found that all electric scooters and bike manufactures advertise ranges based on ideal conditions (flat smooth surface, perfect temp, riding slow in eco mode, etc). You can realistically expect half of the advertised range, so 10 miles is considered "reasonable".
Promo code was bs. They gave me $30 off that’s definitely not 15%. There’s something odd about this company. They might be gyroor, they might be urbanmax. Hard to tell. The products change constantly and quality/branding is very inconsistent as well. If they just got their shit together they could do some real sales. Just as good as gotrax if not better
