I’ve been watching a lot of videos on how to make fishing rod racks and this is the best one I found! No need to look for the studs in the wall in order to nail the racks to the ceiling or the wall, which is very hard for me to do since I don’t know where the studs are, but all I have to do is apply velcro hangers to attack the rack to the wall and BOOM! - it’s done! No damage to the wall or ceiling! Simple yet effective! Subbed and liked! 👍

You're vids are worth the wait Josh! I enjoy fishing videos that have fishing in it, and you do a great job of keeping that course. Can't wait for the next one.

How about a hanger for the reels? Would love to see what you figure out for that.

Would it be ever needed to screw the boards together?

Not really, since you're only putting a small amount of weight on it. The wood glue should be plenty enough to hold these rods (with reels). Keep in mind that, the more pressure you apply to the parts you're gluing together, the better it will stick. Use clamps to do so.

It's a Jorgensen #64005 Miter Saw (amzn.to/2D4zxcb) but I just looked and I'm not sure if they still make these anymore, unfortunately.

Let's not forget most people don't have access your tools to make your rack, no matter how easy you say it is.
