I have never played Horde actively, and mostly not on RP server. But I always loved the badassness of the Orcs and always wanted to try them. When I think I have been playing this game for such a long time, and there is nothing new to see, then I realise there is actually a whole new story when you are playing for the other faction, so it is like playing WoW from the very beginning once again. Can't wait to experience it.
to expand on the clans section of the video, if you're going to be a(former) member of the shadowmoon clan, the good classes to go with would be warlocks and death knights
If I may add, orcs will usually name their wolf mounts or pets. If you are in the Frostwolf Clan, then you would probably treat your wolf much better than other clans would. I suggest for names, you pick something with meaning or that gives a description, like Silverfur, or Ragehowl.
What about orc druids? Feral form: small wolf Bear form: boar (boar form) Travel form: big wolf Aqua: well the seal thingy ofc Flight form: wyvern And the moonkin and tree of life would be like all other druids
That guy is really funny. One of my favorite lines he says when you have him be the one that helps you with the Gladiator ring thing, he says "I'm not done killing you yet!"
What I like to do with my Orc Mage, is to play him as kind of a shaman that has a specialization for fire and water elements. A lot of the spells are very flashy and can be used for some cool shamanistic rituals. If you prefer more of a new school horde orc mage, you can also play an orc who was a kirin tor adept. Kadghar opened the doors for horde mages in the kirin tor, which gives orcs the opportunity to learn arcane magic. (but dont play this in a traditional shamanistic clan setting)
Most of Orcs really won't have any interest in arcane magic, they consider it a cowardly way of combat but Half-Orcs would be rather more interested in since they get put away by pure Orcs. There is also Orcs who may have found some Shadowmoon documents or artefact about Void magic but there it would more fit for a warlock.
One thing I would add in future video's is two things one make sure they know to keep in a description that they have specific skin color's and Show examples of how to type the dialects. Add's more to the character.
For the next one I say Goblins because I have a hunter and I would really like you use him in some RPs or do Pandaren I mean yea Monk is easy to see as a RP class but what about Magi? Warriors even!
Also, your coverage of the Shattered Hand Clan and the Rogue class neglected to mention that the Shattered Hand morphed into the Horde's guild of assassins, and provides the orc rogue trainers. Your characterisation of Shattered Hand as berserkers applies to the old Shattered Hand and to the clan on Draenor, but is a bit out of date for Shattered Hand orcs in the (new) Horde.
Intelligent-Aggressive Orc is perfect. I love Gul'dan from a certain perspective. He's an evil genius. Perfect considering I'm trying out Orc Death Knight RP.
Mytoast Isdone I am rping as a sith Lord from the three moons of nirn, sworn to protect Tyria from the charr using my great uruk hai strength to conquer the home world of zod
Here's another type- Values strength and honour, would challegne anyone and anything, not afraid to die...wise leader/commander...isn't racist because he would respect any race or creature that's worthy: honorable/strong/brave/wise, etc. Would, however, disrespect and frown upon cowards and weaklings. Obviously warrior. My personal favourite one- Survival Hunter, close to nature, kind of underdog, has his own moral principles...worships nature, thus easily bonding with his pet wild animal(worf or lion)..kind of an individualist, self-sufficient, lives and fights for his own sake/cause, would help out and assist his fellow hordes in battle if he feels the cause is worth it but wouldn't blindly obey authority/take orders.
The Worgen Donor I rp as a uruk hai sith Lord, protecting tyria from the imperial legions whilst conquering the home world of zod. my warcry is "Allah akbar"
There is only like twenty years between the 2nd war and nowadays you know. Most of my RP characters are Orcs who just were young during the second war, the youngest of them is just 38 years old now.
I want to make a orc warlock, but i kind of stuck, when I try too think about something like that.. I dont really know how I should interact with others
If I were to do this, I'd end up making a classic Orcs & Humans Orc Warrior. Any ideas on where I may be able to find a set that looks like what they wore? I've not been able to find anything on it. :/ I'm meaning the stuff that the Orc on the RP Basic Guide is wearing.
Perfect way to describe Thrall 'gullible'. Though I like to refer to him as a honorless scumbag. And way to wrongly build up Garrosh, the dude was more then willing to listen to Cairne and Vol'jin. had one not blamed him for a crime he didn't commit, which Cairne may have realized, had he paid any attention to his actions in the Stonetalon Mountains. And the other? Well, that one didn't even wait for Thrall to fully have left Orgrimmar yet before threatening to stab him in the back.
I have a small question, I am sort of new to rping a Orc but I know the basics about clans / affiliations etc etc, Would it be at all possible to rp a half-breed between two clans / and as a mag'har? (I.E:A Warsong father but a Blackrock mother?)
That is what i call an interesting question. So, before the Horde, most of the clans were pretty secludive and inter-clans mating was as rare since it was seen much like a deviance and the two lovers would be ashamed by them respective clans BUT in some case (Alliances between two clans or maybe just a more permissive one.), such unions were allowed and the female would become part of the clan of her husband and treated so. Nowadays, Orcs tend to be more focused on their freedom and passions thanks to the horde, even if there still would be some traditionnalists, most of them now would not be very regardant toward their mate's clan.
+Reptilian Overlord I like the Thunderlord Clan, the one that merged with a part of Shadowmoon Clan and other clans to form the Blackrock Clan. Even Blackhand and Doomhammer were thunderlords.
is this a good roleplay file for an orc warlock (in the style of the XRP addon) age: unknown race: fel orc class: warlock clan: former Burning legion, now unknown eyes:red description coming soon after review on current traits
+Brent Theys It's not exactly uncommon to bend the in-game race selection a little. And many people do it rather well, such as playing half-elves and even taunka.
...If you are forced to Duel to resolve IC conflict you're dealing with the worst tier of RPers. The "I can get away with what I want because I'm good at PvP" people.
Sure, I see where you are coming from, But it helps eliminate the " I am much stronger than you because I say so" guys. Rather PvP it out than seeing arguments about who is stronger.
Hm, wierd. Well, if you play on a RP-PVP realm pvp is usually a big factor of the RP. Personally I don't like rolling just because it leaves too much of a chance

And then you have the various clan-specific traditions like the self-mutilation of the Shattered Hand and Bleeding Hollow clans. Even in the Frostwolf Clan you had the chieftain passing down his battle-harness from generation to generation, which is a very militaristic gesture. Also consult the orc archeology items, both from Outland and those datamined from WoD.These are not the traditions of a peaceful people. +Mr. Reality A stupid orc wouldn't have caused such an impact on the surrounding world and civilizations on a scale Garrosh did with his Horde. A stupid orc couldn't have tricked Grommash fucking Hellscream to sieze over the orc race in an alternative timeline and create a whole Horde of his own just so the "stupid" one could have payback on the world he came from. I am tempted to start roleplaying too, and start out to make a more passive but wise orc who is a kind of a lone wanderer. When I searched for clans I stumbled upon the Whiteclaw clan (www.wowwiki.com/Whiteclaw_clan), is there any more information out about this clan or is it almost unknown?
Hi Gideon Bos well if you still want to know here goes. They are probably one of or The oldest clans but I'm sorry to say I don't think they exiest anymore there where probably hunted down and killed by alliance or other horde clans like warsong or bleeding hollow but if you really wanna be one be a warrior shaman or hunter since that's what the first orcs were but you could be like rexxar one of your last but in your case *The Last* so yeah I roleplay a/frostwolf/warsong check the top comment my story

Varok Saurfang is a good example of the passive but smart Orc.
You have a Draenai voice :))
tru dat
Great Guide man. I RP an orc warlock and found this guide really relatable to my experiences.
to expand on the clans section of the video, if you're going to be a(former) member of the shadowmoon clan, the good classes to go with would be warlocks and death knights
I hope these bring more people to start roleplaying ! :)
Rogues are also great for Shattered Hand.
If I may add, orcs will usually name their wolf mounts or pets. If you are in the Frostwolf Clan, then you would probably treat your wolf much better than other clans would. I suggest for names, you pick something with meaning or that gives a description, like Silverfur, or Ragehowl.

Flight form: wyvern

THE LAUGHTING SKULL CLAN FTW!

You do that. All I need is a wolf at my side and a man at my back.
That guy is really funny. One of my favorite lines he says when you have him be the one that helps you with the Gladiator ring thing, he says "I'm not done killing you yet!"
Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?
What I like to do with my Orc Mage, is to play him as kind of a shaman that has a specialization for fire and water elements. A lot of the spells are very flashy and can be used for some cool shamanistic rituals.
If you prefer more of a new school horde orc mage, you can also play an orc who was a kirin tor adept. Kadghar opened the doors for horde mages in the kirin tor, which gives orcs the opportunity to learn arcane magic. (but dont play this in a traditional shamanistic clan setting)

Garrosh is actually very intelligent, he was an incredible tactician.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yup, he was an exceptionally competent war leader. But the way he handled diplomacy in basically any scenario was extremely stupid to say the least.
@@holczy0 Yes, he lead like an old school Orc, which in the new Horde was not the way to do things.
Forsaken would be a great guide
What about the bar-shar? He would be very useful in RP communities with troublesome RPers
garrosh did nothing wrong
except replacing Thrall
Cameron Frost thrall is the real villain!!!11
Cameron Frost OH no every horde player ever
You're goddamn right.
The fabled lightening blade clan I’m pretty sure they were retcond but I think it would be cool to see a nod to them at some point
I wish you would comeback to this I love your vids
Yo man would you consider making roleplay guides on the allied races too? I use these vids as guides regularly nowadays too
orcs are amazing, just love them!!
One thing I would add in future video's is two things one make sure they know to keep in a description that they have specific skin color's and Show examples of how to type the dialects. Add's more to the character.
An undead RP lore! If not made already, please link it to me if it's already out there.
.....A lot of ''you know'' regardless brilliant guide
For the next one I say Goblins because I have a hunter and I would really like you use him in some RPs or do Pandaren I mean yea Monk is easy to see as a RP class but what about Magi? Warriors even!
Also you can roleplay a blackrock orc blacksmith
Garrosh: "You better shut your clever mouth up, Sylvanas you bitch" xD
Also, your coverage of the Shattered Hand Clan and the Rogue class neglected to mention that the Shattered Hand morphed into the Horde's guild of assassins, and provides the orc rogue trainers. Your characterisation of Shattered Hand as berserkers applies to the old Shattered Hand and to the clan on Draenor, but is a bit out of date for Shattered Hand orcs in the (new) Horde.
I love the presentation in this video! GG
any tip on how to roleplay a burning blade clan orc?
Décsy Balázs ty very much
We have a huge discord for the burning blade clan and blademasters!!!!!! Reply if you want a link.
Doron:
Y u no eat Snickers? You get a little "You know" when your hungry
This is insanely helpful. Many in the rp guild i am a prt of use this video :D
How is the suggested class for Shattered Hand orcs Warrior? The Shattered Hand clan is literally the only reason orcs can play as rogues.
Jonathan Dahlberg Late ansler but i thing Assassination Rogue is fitting, what with the poisons and making your enemy bleed to death.
But the shattered hand wep is a fist wep assassin rouges can't wield fist
@@logadog They can but they are not effective weapons for rogues i think
Glad to hear that you think I know atleast (But in many cases I really dont know ;) ) Good video tho! :)

Simple! He died in battle, and then was raised to life by the Lich king.
what clan should you choose if you play a orc mage.
Maybe you should do sub-classes rp guides?
Would role-playing a 2nd war veteran a good idea?
They are still around, however older..very old...but since most of them died in Durnhold..

I'm meaning the stuff that the Orc on the RP Basic Guide is wearing.
You could use the Sentinel set pieces, or use the warmill in your garisson to get a more updated model of it. :)
Yeah I know about the War Mill stuff. This was from before I knew that would be a thing.
On EU the horde RP is a bit weak, but is it just because i'm in the wrong places?
We need a guide to DKs as we'll.

Is RP in abundance on RP servers within the Horde? I am a Horde guy, but idk if ppl like to RP there so started at the Alliance
I find it depends a lot on the guild you're in. Try looking for a good RP guild and you should be okay, no matter your faction.

IC duels. /rolling to see who's attack strikes and who misses. DND style.
Its not fair, is it? neither is life, which RP attempts to mirror. Get over your attitude or improve your PvP skills.

It's because Americans say it like that. Here in England we say shaman aswell.

They may not be with the Legion anymore they still kill everyone, attack everyone and they also try to take over the world for them!
Stella Stars thrall?
It's really simple to RP an Orc, you jsut have to run around attacking everything that moves while yelling "Blood, death, masacre, carnage, etc.!"
What about Thrall? And orcs like him? They don't do that fam. Check your facts
Trust me, I know all about the Orcs, and that's how they are, with only a few exception. But like 99 % of them are what I described.
Either you're a dumbass or a troll... cant' really figure that out...
Trolls?
I was gonna play as a orcbut then I realized that they don't have Dakka!
