The fact that Arteta stated he regrets not being able to play Xhaka at LB vs Villareal shows his incompetence and naivete being how poor we were with him at that position or maybe he didn't want to admit publicly that he made a mistake, among many. Also, the fact that Arteta has not been sacked yet shows the lack of ambition by the Krroenkes. They will run this club into the ground for sure.
Willock reminds me of Muller/Alli in the sense you cant pin point a single aspect of the game he is great at...yet he is capable of doing great things. One of those players who makes no sense.
Intelligence cannot be coached. If a player is smart then it will show. You don't need to be the fastest, strongest or most skillful when you have a footballing brain.
Yeah, but Arteta prefers a slow possession buildup with a lot of sideways passing. ESR fits perfectly into the slow buildup as he himself is a suave player that likes one touch. Wilock is about getting to the point. Get forward, pass, one-two, shoot/score. He'll do well in any team that has a fast build-up, direct style of play. Like Liverpool, Aston Villa, West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea. I want him to go to Spain or Germany though. He'll enjoy his football a lot there.
@@vagrant_ijn Unfortunately that is all true. Arsenal seem to play a game called "who can stay marked the longest" under Arteta. It worries me because we look set to lose Geundo and Saliba as well, just to satisfy his style of play.

Charles...could you discuss Arsenals plans for our players away on loan in a future video? I'm particularly interested in the plans for the likes of Mavropanos, AMN, Guendouzi ect
For me, Willock, prior to the loan, while talented, consistently got bumped off the ball, legally. It's one of the biggest differences I see between him and Saka. Saka doesn't seem to lose it until you foul him (and he gets fouled a lot).
I know and understand why everyone is on Willian’s back, but confidence is so important to every sportsman and performer. We all know there is a good footballer in there somewhere, because we saw what he did at Chelsea. Hopefully the goal gives him a bit of confidence and he comes back next season rejuvenated. Endless criticism isn’t going to help him find his form...
He rightly gets criticism for the numerous times we have seen him fail to show any sort of desire on the pitch. I have seen him countless times not bother to track back runners, some leading to conceding. Often he fails to get into dangerous spaces when the opportunities are there. Sorry this is nothing to do with confidence nor output rather than the motivations and effort made by the player. He signed for Arsenal for an easy few years, motivated by the fact he didn't need to move home, move his kids out of school and to go play footy with his bezzy mate Luiz who he also owns a restaurant with. That's why he gets stick. Until he justifies his huge wage and puts in more performances like yesterday but when it actually counts then he will continue to get criticised.
Oh give me a break! Willian has been so lucky that there have been no fans in the stadiums, because if there were I imagine they would have had something to say! Let's face it he only came to Arsenal because he saw it as easy (big) money for 3 years. Chelsea offered him 2 years but he rejected that. That says it all. Why come here when you can see what a mess Arsenal are in against a team already in CL. Willian is everything about modern day footballers that I dislike

Lets see who he brings to Arsenal in the summer. If he gets us Bissouma to partner Partey and a RB to replace Bellerin snd a striker to replace Laca and Eddie we will do great nxt season.
Could you ask more about Nelson why has he had an unbelievably low amount of game time this season? Can’t imagine he would be worse than Willian this season
@@ameenr9129 Where did this idea of him not being good enough come from? Surely we can't trust Arteta's word based on how he's treated our youth players. Game time shouldn't be promised if there is nothing delivered.
Here is a question, Pepe came on against Vitoria last season and scored two amazing free kicks, yet we never see him take a free kick, why? Yet Luis and Willian apart from Willain yesterday never score from free kicks but are always standing over them. Just one of the many things that puzzle me with Artetas decision making
With Ceballos leaving, possibly Elneny, Torreira and Guendozi then getting Bissouma isn't enough if they all go. Wouldn't mind Willock as an option but obviously if a good offer comes in and we reinvest well that could work.
It's nice how there are people that think Arteta is changing players only because he doesn't know what his "BEST TEAM" is (Is 1st 11 the word? Look where Liverpool are this season compared to last) What about things like: how the opposition play, players fit & available, significance of other games coming up , developing players existing squad and introducing new players from the academy or buying in, players performing differently in training to 1st team games or age group games, developing the squad capability of playing multiple ways to expand their adaptability resilience and threats to opponents (The merry go round of: {The No Defensive problem but can't create. Can create but have defensive problems.} opposition playing high line or low block) , raising standards of professionalism of the squad (Some of the Club captains behaviour, where's his priority?), how much money is available to buy (The current owners have not historically acted like Chelsea's!). What the capability of the squad is when a new manager takes over and how easy it is to change the squad personnel due to funding, player contracts and maintaining some squad continuity. Players making mistakes that are critical in a games result (which doesn't necessarily make them fundamentally a bad player!). Player usage where are they Red Zone increased risk of injury!
Would love Bissouma but there's a real worry of having Partey AND Bissouma as key figures in our midfield with the AFCON next January. The time to get Bissouma is NOW, though.
Hi Charles, Please if you can ask Arteta, the Arsenal identity that he spoke about when he took over on his first day, "the non negotiables, a team that plays in the opponents half, fortress at home and establishing a winning mentality" and lastly, what Arsenal identity has he created at Arsenal since he took over.......Thanks in advance.

@@georgegraves487 His stats are impressive, he has 10 goals (Matching Auba) and 5 assists (Matching Willian who has the most Arsenal assists) in a team that got relegated! I'd take him rather than spend 40M on Odegaard
We may try to blame the manager all we want but if a footballer needs outside motivation to do perform all the time, it's usually not a good sign. Our players do well when the pressure is off. Nothing seem to bring the best out of our players like a dead rubber match. Our players need to do better.
Willock just needs game time to develop. He offers drive, energy and the ability to bully from midfield. Our midfield currently lacks all of those. Send him on another loan to Newcastle then decide next year if we keep or sell. His value will increase as well as his development.
That win felt worse than a loss/draw. Seriously- that may make zero sense but I’ll try and explain… If we had lost, then at least we can say, “Ok- we really are sh*t” and then build from that level. Given that we won, especially with Willian scoring shows only one thing- we’re bottlers; a meaningless signing performs in a meaningless game. It’s as if those players and/or Mikel are taking the piss.
I wonder whether Arsenal should consider moving on Elneny as well? He's had a decent enough season, but is he a long term Arsenal player? If not, will has value ever be higher than it is now? Not that I expect it to happen. Though my question is, assuming we miss out on Europe now, does it mean that we could try and prioritise quality over quantity in the transfer market as we wouldn't need such a big squad?
Charles could you poke Arteta about creative players? Rodrigo de Paul (Udinese captain) is a standout in chance creation and a leader that we desperately need in that position (see impact of Bruno on the little brother club of Man City 😉)

Willian finally scores when it doesnt matter!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Next goal Sept 2022
Take Willock back he will get better and better.
Willian scoring is like checking the NBA and see the TImberwolves start winning games
Who? This channel be about football and them things there- not the NBA or as it’s better known, the Nationwide Basketball Society.
niche analogy but good analogy
@@TwistedSoul2002 Good reference
Willock reminds me of Muller/Alli in the sense you cant pin point a single aspect of the game he is great at...yet he is capable of doing great things. One of those players who makes no sense.
The Raumdeuter makes a lot of sense in certain systems.
Intelligence cannot be coached. If a player is smart then it will show. You don't need to be the fastest, strongest or most skillful when you have a footballing brain.
Alli is shite
6:12 just proved that we won't sign him, he's an Arsenal fan so we won't sign him, just to name a few; Mahrez, Neto & Odoi!!!
Hi Charles we can celebrate not getting relegated and finding some fantastic players in our youth ranks. I no longer believe in Arteta but I hope he gets a chance to prove us wrong.
I hope so too. If he can't do it next season, fair enough but I think with a more stable and balanced team he can.
Wake up boys, wake up. We are in the gutter because of fans like you giving unqualified people continual chances.
@@yeremoix Fair enough and I understand your frustrations but I'm looking at the football and how we play when we do play well and how we lose. I can think of only two games where we were played off the park.. this was common before Arteta! Also.. what makes a manager qualified in your opinion?
@@TheTrueTeknician Perhaps a manager with a day or more of senior management experience prior to taking the Arsenal job? Without question, a more prominent manager would get more of a tune out of this squad, even though we’re poor.
He should never get a chance there is nothing to suggest that he can mr FRAUD CONE MAN thats what he is. Owners that care and have a clue he would have been sacked thursday night 100 per cent
Bissouma would be good. I like what I've seen everytime I've seen him play, but then again, I liked everything I saw from Partey before he joined Arsenal...
The damage is done. Not even these transfer rumours. Think we've heard it all before. Till Kroenke leaves, Arsenal will never be the same.
It seems as soon as arsenal fans hear transfer talk their heads are turned..should be protesting and keeping the same energy but do we care enough?
@@DC94359 Bit if we don't care enough, then fans shouldn't even mourn at state of the club. No transfer rumour can absolve these owners.
Charles...could you discuss Arsenals plans for our players away on loan in a future video? I'm particularly interested in the plans for the likes of Mavropanos, AMN, Guendouzi ect
Nelson or Wilock in a swap deal for Bissouma would be a good deal. Even if it's a cash plus player deal. Bissouma and Partey would be a great pairing.
Bissouma would have to be exceptional to carry Partey because he has been very poor since he came.
Let's be honest, he was never that incredible at Chelsea.
@@gladiatorscoops All of this can be said about the whole team not just Willian.
@@davidroberts2066 bro willian ain’t even a footballer every time I see him play he always does the same move run into the top left corner of the pitch tried to get past someone but then pass back to the left back or the cam he’s a cheerleader
Keep them coming charles
Ivan Toney, Emi Buendía, Yves Bissouma and Max Aarons
I am happy to give Arteta another 12mths. He has shown he can be trusted with the chequebook. His judgement on players is good . . . Gabriel and Partey & Odergaard.
Nelson is not good enough. Willian is on £100k plus a week with game time promised.
@@ameenr9129 Where did this idea of him not being good enough come from? Surely we can't trust Arteta's word based on how he's treated our youth players. Game time shouldn't be promised if there is nothing delivered.
Thanks for the video Charles. Much appreciated. Keep up all the good work.
ESR brilliant player but reminds me of Wiltshire very prone to injuries 🤦♂️
Here is a question, Pepe came on against Vitoria last season and scored two amazing free kicks, yet we never see him take a free kick, why? Yet Luis and Willian apart from Willain yesterday never score from free kicks but are always standing over them.
Just one of the many things that puzzle me with Artetas decision making
Willian is a class free kick taker. Just cos he hasn’t done it for us doesn’t mean he can’t.
Willock is an Arsenal player & should not be moved on
Comedy gold
Thoughts on Areola as a GK option
Next season 6th is gonna be like winning a trophy.
Praying we can get Camavinga on a cheap
Hi Charles, Please if you can ask Arteta, the Arsenal identity that he spoke about when he took over on his first day, "the non negotiables, a team that plays in the opponents half, fortress at home and establishing a winning mentality" and lastly, what Arsenal identity has he created at Arsenal since he took over.......Thanks in advance.
Exactly true
Wenger gave Willock is debut and believed he was going to be a top class player, I believe in the professor
Will ye relax..yes he's doing well for Newcastle but he did absolutely nothing when he got a chance for us..we should still sell him in the summer he's just raising the price
@@DC94359 did nothing because Arteta didn't give him a run of games in the team. whenever he played well, he would be dropped for the next game, a player loses confidence and rhythm without continuity, that's why Pepe as been so bad for us over the entire season.
Charles, once again thanks for an informative video. What do you think of matheus pereira playing in a #10 role at arsenal? I have been watching him for months and I think he is a player that has quality and that can shine through even more when he is surrounded by players who make quality runs. No surprise about his performance against us yesterday.
Great choice, i like the guy he always plays well against us...he would be a great fit in our team
If I don't see at least xhaka, bellerin, holding, elneny, chambers all sold then its an unsuccessful window...
U need backup. Chamb, elneny and bellerin er happy to be that.
@@Yunit08 yea bellerin was great back up on thursday...he's the 1st one that needs to go along with xhaka....
Willock just needs game time to develop. He offers drive, energy and the ability to bully from midfield. Our midfield currently lacks all of those. Send him on another loan to Newcastle then decide next year if we keep or sell. His value will increase as well as his development.
Charles what are your thoughts on the rumors that the fines issued because of the Super League will come out of the transfer funds?
Charles said be quiet...
That win felt worse than a loss/draw.
Seriously- that may make zero sense but I’ll try and explain…
If we had lost, then at least we can say, “Ok- we really are sh*t” and then build from that level.
#KroenkeOut
Charles could you poke Arteta about creative players?
Rodrigo de Paul (Udinese captain) is a standout in chance creation and a leader that we desperately need in that position (see impact of Bruno on the little brother club of Man City 😉)
What we need is midfielders that actually score goals like Willock at Newcastle 😉
Is there any chance for Arsenal to qualify for Europa league given that Champions league winner is already qualified and if Man Utd wins the Europa league
No. If that was the case if we finish 9th (the highest we will finish unless a miracle happens) It would be Europa conference.
40 mil is a lot, but Stan owes us that at least if he’s staying 😤
Sir...Arsenal never learns its lessons.
Do you think we will still sign oldrgaard?
Got to capitalise on Willock’s form. Surely he should be going for nothing less than 30m... Nelson and Nketiah probably closer to 20 and 25m respectively. A few swap deals would obviously be the best possible business 👌
You are dreaming, they might get 10million for all three. You are judging the value by what we have paid. 46 million for Partey, when he was worth getting on a free, but not paying money for.
£30m for Willock?

Willock done nothing when he got a chance for us looked out of his dept..we need to sell he's just raising his price..we need money
@Mr. Philip Adams when willock plays for arsenal he is expected to be good in possession and having the ball alot of the time trying to brake teams down when he plays for Newcastle they play the opposite they rarely have the ball play on the counter more that suits willock..but yes arteta terrible man-manager
The only regret we arsenal fans got is that arteta is still our manager
Very sad reality

Yeh- because that’ll work.. 🙄
£40M for someone with one year left on his contract?
What kind of dreamland do you live in?
Put yourself in his position, a highly touted player from some of the biggest clubs in Europe and you have Arsenal who are also interested 😑
Bissouma is a decent player , but the price tag is exorbitant, taking into consideration today's market.

William plays well in the middle of the pitch rather than the flanks, Partey can attack n defend also. Elneny can defend well, although he has scored this season, so arteta should try this trio at times in midfield. No need to get Cebalos on permanent deal. Bellerin should go, Even Pepe is no good, even if he scores a goal in great intervals, (yesterday he got it for WBA not closing on him) tell me how many times he lost the ball going forward. Arteta should have plans for Oddegard in the centerleav midfield if Auba plays as CF, playing him in right flank is waste of talent. But he too needs to improve his defensive game or he too will go through Ozil way. Nelson, Willock, AMN all should leave.
Kroenke and Arteta OUT 🗣😑
Similar to last summer when Arsenal needs monies to rebuild team( sell Leno for more than Emi), players who didn't get much gametime should be sold. Easy?
