I don't know if it's cause this is outdated, but you actually can add the extra odd sized carton to the shipping plan. They let you add another packing line if you might have an extra box of additional units that might not have been able to fit into your typical unit per box count. So if you have an extra box with less units per box, you can add a packing line for case pack. I will say though you can only add 1 additional packing line which I think they did for if you have additional units that were to be included. It works for me because when selecting individual units you get capped off at 10 boxes so in that case case-pack is more beneficial. Great video nonetheless!
Yes, this is a feature that was added to the shipping plan workflow after this video was made.
I’ve watched several of your Amazon FBA videos. I was having so much trouble with listing. Thanks to you I was finally able to complete. Thank you so much for your help. 🧘🏽♀️🩵

Thank you for the very informative video. Have you ever experienced creating an LTL shipment in seller central but then you decided to ship the goods as small parcel. Take note, cancelling the shipment and creating a new one is not an option. What is the best thing to do in your opinion? Thanks!
You're welcome! You should be able to cancel it. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/qFzU6WOBJsw/v-deo.html
What's Up Man!
Nice video. really appreciate it.
Hey, I have a question. When I create my shipment plan, I usually ship between 5-8 boxes, and the warehouse is like 40 minutes from my house. do you think/know if I can drop off the boxes myself at the amazon warehouse? thanks!!!
What's up! I'm glad you found value in the video! Unfortunately, you can't drop off inventory directly to the Amazon warehouse, it has to be shipped. Like I mentioned in the video, if you use the Partnered carrier program, it's extremely cheap to ship. Probably not worth your time and hassle to drive 40min each way.
Thank you so much for the information and i still need your consultation to send in my first inventory. I find it difficult at this moment, i have two separate product on there way and i really need your help.
You're welcome! You can book a consultation on my website: www.crescentkao.com I look forward to chatting with you.
Thank you for the video. I would like to know what you can do when you have stock unsold for a long time (and avoid paying fees for that reason). Thanks!
You're welcome. To avoid paying long term storage fees, you have to remove the inventory from Amazon with a removal order.
Glad to hear this from you...
I have a product that have "made in China" and on it and a manufacturer bar code.. Can I sell it on amazon like how it is?
Hello! This goes over all the packaging and labeling requirements: ua-cam.com/video/3DtbcEtgjjw/v-deo.html
Hi there, thanks for your video! Wondering when you replenish stock for an existing product would the FNSKU label always be the same as before, or would it be different each time you replenish stock? Thanks so much!
Hello, you're welcome! I'm happy to hear that you're finding value in the content! Yes, they're the same. The barcodes will never change for the lifetime of the listing. (only on very rare occasions would it change)
I just wanted to start by saying that I definitely enjoy your video's. They're very helpful. You've become my guru, and don't even know it. I do have a question?? I just recently started selling on Amazon. I did send 20 unit's to FBA, unfortunately it's the type of product that's time sensitive, and won't sell unless the ship date is fast, do to it's nature. But for some reason my FBA item has a consistent ship date of one month. How can I get the ship date down on my FBA, did I mess up somewhere? This 1 month delivery service through FBA will kill my sales before they begin.
Hello! I'm glad you find value in the videos! By time sensitive, do you mean it has an expiration date? Amazon requires that all items have a minimum shelf life of 90 days, explained here: sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/201003420
FBA items all have a 2-day ship policy if the buyer has a Prime account. You should contact seller support if its not.
Hello - can you do a video on the new Amazon Global Logistics option ?.. It seems very worthwhile, but has quite a few detailed steps in setting up and different shipment work flow
Hello. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hello Mr, Kao. Thank you for all your video. Helped me so much. I have one questions, in my his video you said you can up to 1000 units to Amazon Warhouse. But in the past I hear some you tubers said you can only send 200 units. Will you please let me know how many exactly can I send when I send my first shipment for the launch?
Hello, you're welcome! The storage limit has changed a long time ago. Here's the video on the new storage limits: ua-cam.com/video/EjECu7A8lx4/v-deo.html
Thank you Crescent. This is very useful for beginners like me. If I would like to send my some product samples (say 100 units in 1 box, dimension is less than 1meter for each side, total 35kg) from China to AMZ FBA warehouse, does
it mean that I need to send the product to AMz’s partner courier company? Might I have your advice on delivery vendor selection for small size product sample delivery from China to US AMZ FBA warehouse?
You're welcome! You can't send in a box that large. I went over the shipping guidelines in the video. The longest side of the shipping carton must be less than 25inches. The partnered carrier program is for domestic shipments only (within the continental US). You need to ship your products through a shipping carrier like FedEx or UPS from China to the US. This might help: ua-cam.com/video/_suEbhpvamE/v-deo.html
All your videos are amazing. Thanks for that. I am creating my first shipping plan and when I tried to create a new packing template, the two options I see are "Case pack" and "Single SKU Pallete", so my quesion would be if I chose "case pack" for my first template how will I be able to chose the "Individual Units" option? or does it mean that my first template must be "case pack" no matter what? because I noticed you said that you had already created a template with the name "individual Units"
You're welcome! I'm glad you find value in the content! I would contact seller support, you should have an option to send in individual units.
Hi Crescent, thanks for the videos. One question, can I first get the 3 month Junglescout subscription with the 25% off, and 3 months later switch to 1 year plan with 30% off?
You’re welcome! Yes, you upgrade or downgrade anytime. Just make sure to use my link to get the discount.
Thank you so much for this very helpful
teaching . How can I cancel case pack template? I have been struggling with this for over 3 weeks now. I have deleted and relisted but it keeps on going back to the same error message over and over again.
You're welcome! If you make a mistake on a shipping plan, you can just delete it and start over or ignore it and start a new one. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/qFzU6WOBJsw/v-deo.html
Thanks for this video. Do I need to send Amazon FBA a box for each individual product? Or can I put my products in a large box all together without boxes for each item?
You’re welcome! You can put them all in one shipping carton. I went over this in the case packed vs individually packed section in the video.
I find all of your videos very useful as i’m in learning process of FBA .. i have few questions like .. when listing a product that is already listed on amazon they ask permission .
1: If i add that same product as an add new listing will that work ? Should i be worry that already buyer on the amazon will report me as i’m private label ?
Hello, I'm glad you're finding value in the content! No, if the product is gated or requires brand approval, creating a new listing isn't going to bypass it. I suggest watching this: ua-cam.com/video/4Re5Kb8dLnk/v-deo.html
Hi Crescent, thanks for all the valuable information. I’m trying to use my California address to ship from; but Amazon is not allowing me to save and close. How can I fix this issues
Hello! You're welcome. There is no save, just keep continuing through the steps. If you can't continue, then you have missing info or errors on that step.
Hi Crescent, should I need the new FNSKU for the new variation of my Amazon FBA product or should every product variation must have different FNSKU?
Hello. Every product or variation requires it's own UPC and FNSKU, this goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/-IOFXsLDFhA/v-deo.html
Actually in case pack you can add another line item if there are left over units and the box will be smaller, you will just need to hit up your supplier for the smaller box
Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it!
Hi there! I am new in the seller space and wondering if I can get more info on some FBA elemetns: for example Have you heard of FBA Opportunities tab in Seller Central? Have you seen it?
Hello. Yes, I've heard of it but I don't use it. I stick to private label products. I have more control and higher profit margins.
Hey, you’ve said to put down FNSKU for the shipping plan instead of UPC. Why? I have my GTIN barcode from GS1 that gets passed off as a UPC on my Amazon listing. Can you explain further?
Hello. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/-IOFXsLDFhA/v-deo.html
This video is very helpful, thank you. However, I am selling a liquid grocery item in a glass bottle. Do I need to prep each individual bottle for their drop test? I thought packaging was covered under the fulfillment fee. So overwhelming!
I’m glad you found it helpful! Yes you do. Here’s a new video that goes over the new changes to the shipping plan process: ua-cam.com/video/ADju31nFgOs/v-deo.html
Great video but you didn’t talk about item labels , which categories need item lables, expiration date ?
I'm glad you found it helpful. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/ynVQ3pOL3lk/v-deo.html
Do you have to send shipping labels to factory to label each item inside the box or only the box carton consisting of your 100 units?
Yes. This goes over all the labels:
ua-cam.com/video/ynVQ3pOL3lk/v-deo.html
hi, I really like your videos so thanks for creating them. I am in the middle of creating my first listing on Amazon. I don't have professionally take photos of the product yet. Do you recommend creating the listing with pictures taken at home ( clear but not top notch) or should I wait for the photographer to send my better pictures? What are the things I need to take care of to clear the Hazmat review without any issue?
Hello! I'm happy to hear that you find value in the content! I would have professional photos taken as quick as possible. Photos are what are going to sell your product and poor quality photos will lead to lower sales. Your listing won't go live until you have inventory in stock anyways. This goes over checking for restrictions and compliance: ua-cam.com/video/4Re5Kb8dLnk/v-deo.html
@@CrescentKao Thanks for your response. Every time I am creating a listing on amazon it gets caught in the loop of Hazmat review and never comes out so I need to figure out what I am doing wrong. Does all product go into the Hazmat review? I have called Amazon support multiple times and get different responses from different associate. My product doesn't have any batteries or anything inflammable and I had already checked the compliance checklist and I am not selling anything under that list.
@@nikiesarma8544 you’re welcome. If a hazmat review is required you just have to go through the process regardless if it actually is hazardous or not. Provide the necessary documents showing that it isn’t.
Thank you for your video I have a question regarding the non-Amazon partner carrier for the hazmat, dangerous goods. What should I do and how can I ship my product as a hazmat, dangerous goods while the partner carrier option are not available? as you know if I ship it by the not partner options, it will be Costy. please advise. Thanks again.
You're welcome. If you're not using the Partnered Carrier option, you have to arrange your own shipping with FedEx, UPS, DHL or whatever carrier you want and follow their shipping guidelines for hazmat.
This tutorial was so helpful. Great tips. I wanted to confirm as a new seller or existing, will Amazon allow me to send 1000 units of the same product to their warehouse in 2023. I assumed it was lower. Thanks
You’re welcome! Amazon has a new storage limit calculation:
ua-cam.com/video/EjECu7A8lx4/v-deo.html
So helpful (as usual!). I'm shipping my first pallet and have 2 questions. First, can I stack my individual boxes on the pallets without putting them into cartons? They're oversized and will stack neatly on a pallet. Second, do I process the shipping plan as if each pallet is a carton (ie for the correct shipping labels)? I checked and don't see that you have a pallet specific video. Thanks, Crescent.
I'm glad you're finding value in the content! You can pack the pallet however you want as along as it matches what you stated in the shipping plan and meets the pallet requirements and you need to choose LTL: sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G200978400
@@CrescentKao THANK YOU!
Hi Crescent, what do you mean use the FNSKU instead of UPC, but I purchased the GTIN which I indicated as UPC when I listed my product, now I am ready to ship to amazon but i have not applied the GTIN/UPC yet to the individual same product as I am still trying to learn how to print those barcode. I thought that is the barcode I am suppose to apply to my product. Thanks in advance!

Should i use create new packing template for different SKU?
Every SKU will need it's own packing template.
HI QUESTION, my product already comes with upc barcodes. It is packaged 20 pcs per case/box. If I want to sell it in amazon fba in a set of 6 pcs do I need to repack everything and also do I need to put another label? and if so on the box or single unit? please explain
Hello. Yes, you’ll need to repack it in boxes of 6 with a new UPC that goes on the main outer box.
Great video. Do the shipping carton boxes need to be labeled”made in China” if so can this be added to the amazon shipping label?
Glad you found it helpful! Yes, it needs to be on the master carton. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/3DtbcEtgjjw/v-deo.html
Thank you for the informative video. I have question if you can kindly answer it. I am about to send item labels to supplier but I noticed my product FNSKU is same as ASIN, is this normal? If not then what did I do wrong? Please advise. Thanks!
You’re welcome! This goes over it:
ua-cam.com/video/tdJqj7tEjdM/v-deo.html
if you have the same product but different color, should you use the same AISN but different SKU?
You have to use a new UPC. ASIN and SKU will also be different, they are always unique. No two product will ever have the same ASIN or SKU.
Hi there, long time subscriber, I have a new product. it's the same product but with 3 differnet quantity sets. When I try to add all the Sku's, it only adds up to two packing lines. But I have three skus. how can I add a new packing line?

Your video is informative but I have questions can you help me? I need to know what kind of box do I need to ship in and does each of my individual products need a label? For example if I'm sending 700 items for example 350 small pair of jeans and 350 large pair of jeans do I really need 700 labels or just the correct label on each box? This is where it's getting confusing.

Hi, for the shipping address, do i just pick a random address from california, then have my supplier ship directly from china to the california warehouse?
Hello. No this goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/oWl9vspkm5I/v-deo.html
on my end when I go into "Create new packing template" I only see the options of "case pack" or "single SKU pallet" I don't see anything that I can select for individual units. can you help?
I suggest contacting Seller Support to see what the issue is: ua-cam.com/video/zMwEyCFFFJc/v-deo.html
thanks for the video man. Ive been anxious to sell on amazon. Should I aim to sell my products in the us amazon or canadian amazon? I am in canada. If I am shipping directly from the supplier, what info do I need to give them or do they already know?
You're welcome! I'm glad you've been finding value in the content. US is the largest Amazon marketplace, so I suggest starting there. The shipping plan will have the Amazon warehouse address on them, this goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/3DtbcEtgjjw/v-deo.html
We sell medium size products which have their own box (one product, one box) and which we want to place directly on pallet, without placing them in an additional box.
Which one of these two options is the best?
-Place both box label and FNSKU on the product
-Place only the FNSKU on the product
Thanks!
The FNSKU always has to go on every unit. The box labels go on the shipping cartons. If you're going to palletize it, there's different pallet labels that need to go on each side of the pallet.
@@CrescentKao In my situation I have 45units/boxes that are “customer ready “ packed in its manufacturer box I just place the fnsku on each unit then wrap the pallet and use a pallet label ? No box label needed . Thank u so much for you help. Sorry to be a bother
when trying to ship to FBA, I got an alert stating to ship to an alternate address for my small parcel shipments (to a CA address) but my box label printed a NV address. How can I change it to the CA address Amazon gave me? I don't see any options to manually change the 'ship to' address?
Try creating a new shipping plan and see if you get the same error. You need to ship it to the addresses on the label. If you're getting an error with conflicting information, contact seller support.
Bro as i am shipping inside the UAE i dont have an option to select warehouse of amazon in inbound settings.
The settings have changed. I have a new video that covers the new settings next week.
Based on your instruction, if I am shipping product from China, I can set my "ship from" address as my California's and generate the shipping label for my supplier? Also, how come it doesnt show the shipping charges with non-Amazon partnered carrier?
No, the ship from address should be the actual address it's shipping from. If you're not using the Partnered Carrier program, then you (or your freight forwarder) needs to arrange the shipping with a shipping carrier like UPS, Fedex or DHL. The shipping plan is just to let Amazon know what you're shipping to Amazon. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/3DtbcEtgjjw/v-deo.html
Hi sir, I have a question, about the label on a master carton? as for example having 4 cartons (150*4) that I want to into a master carton? how can I do it ?
Hello. Just follow the steps in this video.
@@CrescentKao I made it with individual, thank you sir !
Thank you for sharing this. I just have a few questions and would appreciate any response from you.
The products are in the 3PL US, and we’ll send the first shipment to Amazon. How should I provide the unit labels to them? As I've seen from your video, I would have to create a shipping plan first, but it would also require me to input the box dimensions and weight. I'll be asking for this information from our 3PL, but how would they provide this info if they haven't stuck the unit labels yet? I'm confused about this part.
We only have one product with four different sizes. Should we create a standalone listing for each size to have four different ASINs? If we have four listings, should we also create four shipping plans?
Thank you.
You're welcome! This goes over how to print the barcode: ua-cam.com/video/tdJqj7tEjdM/v-deo.html
Thank you. What I mean, do we need to complete the whole shipping plan before I can send the product unit labels to our manufacturer? Because I can’t complete it without them providing me the dimensions and weight.
@@user-dw8oo1pj3r no, the video I posted in my last comment goes over how to download the label.
I need help, so my state does not allow the ups (amazon carrier program). How can I get the best shipping rates by using the non amazon carrier? Shipping rates in finding are 3x and it’s way too much. I need a better alternative 🙏🏽
Hello. I've never heard of that. The Partnered Carrier programs is available to all states within the continental US. Remember, the program is only available for DOMESTIC shipments. And here's an updated video for the recent changes to the shipping workflow: ua-cam.com/video/ADju31nFgOs/v-deo.html
I have this situation with my case packed units, but can't I just add a "packing line" if I have 1 left over box with not the same dimensions and unit count? Which I will be able to ship all at once?
No. You need to create a separate shipping plan for the odd box or just choose individually packed like I showed in the video.
@@CrescentKao can I message you on Instagram?
Anyone knows is this fba label service is already included in the fba amazon fulfillment plan?
No. You have to pay for it. This goes over it: ua-cam.com/video/ynVQ3pOL3lk/v-deo.html
what if i have more then 10 boxes how do i add the web form?
Create two shipping plans.
Hello and thank you for your tutorials. I have a question regarding color variation. I have listed the different colors of my product, but when I click on the parent product in my inventory, the page opens with one color already selected and I do not see any other color choices at the bottom. Can you clarify this point for me? It is important to note that my listing is not yet active because the delivery is not complete.
If its a new listing, you won't see any options until you have inventory in stock for all the SKU's.
@@CrescentKao Thank you so much
Thank Crescent. My product erached Amazon and it says "Shipment succesfully closed" and says "ready for sale". Does it mean it's ready to launch?
You're welcome. If you're listing status is Active and you have units in stock (Available), then yes, your listing is already live.
Can we use case pack for multiple variations or multiple skus can you please explain in which scenario we can use case pack for multiple SKUs
Thanks
No, case pack must contain all the same SKU. If you're packing with multiple SKU's, you must choose Individually Packed like I went over in the video.
@@CrescentKao Thank you so much 😍
Hi, great video. So just checking, it is OK to have a US from address even though it is coming from China? Thanks.
Hello. I'm glad you found it helpful! Yes, you can put whatever you want but why wouldn't you put the actual origin address?
@@CrescentKao Because I live in CA so trying to avoid amazon shipping my product to a warehouse in the middle of America--don't you say that in your video?
@@victoriafeasey8902 Yes, that's fine.
Hey wassup, should I place my order with alibaba first or add my product on Amazon first?
I don't suggest you do it in that order. You should create the listing first. This goes over everything step by step: ua-cam.com/video/weQAaY_ezoI/v-deo.html
Can the fnsku be put on the carton containing 24 units of product with a ean code?
No. This goes over it:

Hello . greetings to you all
I have a product consisting of 749 pieces. 18 cartons (17 cartons, each carton contains 42 pieces, and the last carton contains 32 pieces). I want to make a shipping plan for them.
My question when writing the shipping plan: How can I add the last carton that contains 32 pieces? Do I add them alone or what?
Another question. The goods are at an external warehouse (3PL WEREHOUSE COMPANY) and I want to send only 5 cartons (210 pieces) to the Amazon warehouse as an initial shipment. In the shipping plan, do I write all the 18 cartons, or only the 5 cartons that I want to ship? This is so that I can get an Amazon label for all the cartons. Thanks
Hello. Like I explained in the video, choose Individually packed.
Your video is so simple and straightforward but I still messed up and I’m stuck 😢. Can you help me?
What are you having trouble with?
How do you account for multiple pack groups when shipping individual units?
example: SKU#1, SKU#2 100 of each.
Amazon splits these over 2 Pack groups
Pack group 1 = SKU#1 x 75
Pack Group 2 = SKU#1 x 25, SKU#2x 50
Pack Group 3 = SKU#2 x 50
You need to box them how you to. Otherwise, try creating separate shipping plans.
@@CrescentKao do you mean:
1. the Shipping plan needs to be created first with the total qty to send inputted.
Then
2. Amazon determines the packing group ie. which sku & qty to pack in which box?
Then
3. Instruct warehouse how to pack the boxes per SKU.
Hi there. Can you guide me on vine amazon ? Is taking trademark a long process? Do I have to hire an attorney?
Hello, if you have a registered brand, you can sign up to use the Vine service to get reviews. Applying for a trademark is relatively straight forward. You can do it yourself but I suggest hiring a professional. It take 6-9 months to get approved but once you apply and get the registration number, you can apply for Brand Registry. I suggest watching this video, it goes over all of this step by step: ua-cam.com/video/weQAaY_ezoI/v-deo.html
Can you please suggest me any professional who can help me with this? Do you take private classes?

Let me know if you any questions!
Hello. Question for you. If I order an item with two different colors, say black and white, 50 and 50. Do I have to ask the seller to pack in two different boxes? Thank you.
Hello. That depends. If you're selling them separately then yes. If you're bundling them together, then no.
@@CrescentKao Got it. Thank you!
im shipping something small/light like tweezers in large quantity and case pack was giving me a huge headache to work with. didnt know individual pack was an option, super helpful! My only question is, if im sending in 4 boxes containing the same sku and quantity, could i pack those 4 boxes in one large box and ship to amazon?
given that they are all going to the same warehouse?
No you cannot. Just create the shipping plan and say it's all in one box instead of 4: ua-cam.com/video/3DtbcEtgjjw/v-deo.html
okay. is it ok packing 612 units in one large box? it's a small parcel delivery with a non-partnered carrier, and your other video said there is a 500-box limit per shipment? Just that when im creating the shipping plan and entered 612 units per box, no error came up, thank you. @@CrescentKao
ok ok, just watched your "New Amazon FBA Capacity Limits in 2023" seems like there is no limit to how many units new sellers can send now LOL

Thank you so much, This video is amazing and so helpful. But still I have problem with sending my small order (300 unit) to multiple warehouses/ 3 warehouses. I changed Inbound setting section to inventory placement service but still says "Merge workflows is not available for small parcel shipments". What is your suggestion?
You're welcome I'm glad you found it helpful. After you changed the option, did you create a NEW shipping plan?

Hi

I remember when I was making you first FBA shipment like 2 years ago or so I didn't find the answer how to reprint fnsku you video the first one help me.
After that I never sent FBA shipment now I want to sent again and looking the video no one explained like your. 1000000 👍
Can you tell me I'm still confused
1, when I m planning to sent FBA shipment I have to pack and prep my package first or make shipping plan first?
2, when I make pake of 2 unit or set of 2
What is considered when I write the total unit
Pack of 2 unit considered 2 unit or 1unit
Thanks a lot your excellent work excellent 👌
Hello! I'm glad that you found value in the video just in time for your needs! And thank you for your continued support, I appreciate it.
1) If you know ahead of time how your shipment is going to be packed and you know the size/weight of the shipping cartons, then you don't need to pack them ahead of time.
2) A unit is what the buyer gets regardless of what's included. Refer to 3:53 of this video. I explain what a unit is.
Keep hustling!

You don't need to make any appointments and Amazon isn't going to check if or when it ships.
what if 1 of your cartons have a different count?
