Hi Travis, from Australia. The ABN is our EIN number for the business. Though when setting up a sole proprietor you only have an ABN number, whereas if you set up a company you get something called an ACN number on top as well. Now when inserting the company registration number at the beginning, I assume you want to put the ABN as a sol proprietor, though what if I decide to change my sole proprietor into a company with an ACN number? Can I change this with amazon seller account down the track?
Question: I want to do wholesale, so I go no for private label, but If I want to do a private label alongside with other peoples product, can I change this option later?

I’m having some trouble getting it verified, I went ahead and set up a new LLC in my current state at my current address . My question is do I just let the clock run out on the first account and then set up with the new one ? I don’t want to get banned for already having an account . Hi - may I ask you, because I wanted to sign up as a privately owned business "type", but don't have an LLC. yet, and I've heard amazon doesn't like new business accounts, they want an established LLC before signing up. So I thought to sign up as an "individual" type, but there is a check box on the page that states "I confirm that my business location and type are correct and I understand that this information cannot be changed later". I'm confused on whether or not I would be able to upgrade the individual account later to privately owned or if amazon has changed the rules now.
You can change it later on but it might be difficult to do that. That is why I would advise against it as it would be a hassle on your end dealing with all that

Hello Travis, I live in Australia and am looking to sell in the USA. Do you recommend registering my business in the USA? During the registration process, will I need to provide only US documents, or will Australian documents also be required at some point? Since I'm not physically present in the USA, could this be an issue when registering for a seller account? Or would it be wiser to set up a business and an Amazon seller account in Australia and still sell in the US market?
Some sellers were able to use it but this was also the cause for some to have their accounts suspended or even banned. You can try it but I would advise against doing that.
For the phone # for verification is it best to use the phone number that was used earlier & can it be a google voice # or should it be my primary phone number that may have been used by my previous seller account that I haven't used for years and have no info about - other than the phone number used with the old account. (I have already been told in an amazon chat to only use a new phone number)

Amazon actually requires a credit card as a charge method. It will only be charged though if there are no funds available in your Amazon account.

Mail chimp , GoDaddy , Google Workspace all offer business emails :)
You can still use that but I would highly recommend getting a business email especially if you're opening a professional seller account

You can change it under account settings. Just fyi, this would trigger another round of verification

The process is pretty much the same, just make sure you are signing u to Amazon Canada

If you are doing FBA, Amazon will take care of shipping your products to your customers. You just have to send your inventory to their warehouse.

Some sellers were able to use it but this was also the cause for some to have their accounts suspended or even banned. You can try it but I would advise against doing that.

No you can't use your registered agent as primary contact. You can use their address though when signing up for an account
